super glad that people are enjoying my little gay brainworms that haven't let me sleep since november, will definitely continue rambling about my dumb theories and aeventi angst when I have more time

sorry wanted to make a different ask since this one might be kinda long. also spoilers for the latest archon quest for anyone that hasn't done it yet

I think aether and venti have definitely actually met before. the only thing is that venti has been asleep for most his life, we know he was asleep until 500 years ago when durin attacked mondstadt and he likely fell asleep after that again, tho we don't know when exactly he woke up before the game. and aether has also been asleep for maybe 500 years as well? so I think it's possible they met 500 years ago, likely during the cataclysm. this is really interesting because it implies that venti was in fact a part of the destruction of khaenri'ah. or another theory is that, since we know for a fact that the twins were trying to leave teyvat at the time, venti helped aether and lumine escape, but unfortunately traveler doesn't remember him (tho I think the abyss prince/princess would remember him and ooh boy the abyss aeventi angst (and technically ventilumi too I guess) potential here). whatever it is, that voiceline is super interesting and until they tell us what it actually means, I'm going to think of it as aeventi angst because I have severe gay brainrot

I think all of these could be very likely! And I am loving the helps them escape one! Gives them something to get attached to each other over because risky escapes will do that and I just am a sucker for that!!

saw u talking about venti's "u don't remember me?" voiceline and wanted to throw in a few personal hcs for fun

so one of the hcs I really like is that venti was watching over aether before he woke up (although that doesn't really explain the voiceline, idk I just think it's cute how venti finds this boy and waits years for him to wake up wondering what this mysterious stranger is like and when they finally meet venti just falls for him hard,, but ahah that's just my aeventi brain talking)

Oh! Oh! Venti probably passes time by imagining what Aether could be like! He looks somewhat noble with his gold and brown outfit mix, so maybe he's a little stuck up? Thinks a little too highly of himself?

Or maybe he is this very boring diplomat?

Venti doesn't recognize any of the symbols on Aether's clothes, which makes him so interesting! He really needs him to wake up.

Maybe sometimes he isn't so far off and imagines him to be this great and noble hero that has an aura of pride and strength about him and Venti likes to imagine he'd get a little bit more action with him around, just because it can get a bit boring from time to time!!

And then Aether wakes up and is this super kind but sharp tongued idiot that is fascinated by the things in Teyvat and has a never ending curiosity towards them. And his never wavering conviction to find his sister quickly makes him everyones favorite and Venti can't believe his luck when nothing about it changes when he finds out Venti is an archon (heck, he makes fun of him a little more sometimes!)!

Sorry this got a little longer than I intended haha!
