Decided to upload the concept sketches for the Dragon Ball ocs I've come up with since getting back into the fandom. Some of them need a few tweaks( the one that's just a head needs a body XD), but I'm happy with what I have so far.

From left to right, we have:

Keylie, a young member of Zarbon's race who prefers to be in her Monster Form at all times. She's currently training to become stronger and hates those who consider beauty as everything.

Rambuta, a young member of Dodoria's race who was previously enslaved since he was an infant, but thankfully was freed by Keylie and now thinks of her as his big sister.

Icreema, a member of the Ginyu Force who usually steps in when one of the Ginyus is out of commission. She has incredible physical strength despite her small and danty size and is Recoome's older step sister.

And finally, Soya, a Cooler's Armored Squadron member who is a Brench/ Boulean hybrid via her mother having an affair with a Boulean. And while her both her fighting prowess and psychic powers are praised, she is considered scary and ugly by both many members of the Cooler/ Frieza Force and her Brench family( except her mother) thanks to her heritage, as well as her cold demeanor both on and off the battlefield.

There are parts of Keylie and Rambuta's story that I want to keep secret for now since I'm still developing it. But I can tell you they are currently being trained by Dodoria and Zarbon, respectively, who were revived after Chronoa discovered a future timeline where they were aiding Keylie and Rambuta, along with some other familiar Frieza Force members, in a huge battle against a very dangerous impotent villain. And while she initially wanted to fix the timeline and deem it an alternation by Mira, she ultimately decided to let it happen and even helps them from time to time.

As for Icreema, I might rethink Icreema a little since I haven't really developed her much than I have with Keylie, Rambuta, and Soya.

And for Soya, I definitely want to make a separate story focusing on her and the Armored Squadron as I've really developed Soya a lot since creating her, and her relationship with the Armored Squadron is definitely better than her relationship with her family. As well as having one of the Squadron members as her love interest.

I do have ideas for more DBZ OCs, but since they aren't drawn yet/ in development, you guys will have to wait a bit longer. Unless you guys decide to barrage me with questions.

Hopefully, I will get these guys into ClipStudio Paint ASAP since they desperately need colors. I know what colors to give Keylie and Icreema, but Rambuta and Soya are going to be hard.

But hopefully, I'll get it all done before the year ends, along with all the other OCs from the other fandoms.

hot artists don't gatekeep

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Made Rambuta and Keylie in Xenoverse 2 for Switch, mainly because I wanted to plan out the colors for their full bio artwork, and I might as well see what changes the game makes when you choose a different race.( My main is human)

Rambuta is a Namekian, and Keylie is a Sayian, and can I just say that I love that the game gives you the option to make your custom character outrageous colors that the species clearly should not have. It definitely makes the game more fun when you can go all out with the colors.

Rambuta being a Namekian in the game was actually not planned as I initially wanted to use the Majin race since it does resemble Dodoria's race more( Dodoria even mentions in Xenoverse 2 that the the 2 look a lot a like if your character is a Majin) but sadly it didn't have the option for head spikes. I was going to just give up and move on to possibly creating Keylie into Xenoverse 2 until I stopped and started pondering if the Namekian race would have spikes for their customization. And when I went to the head option, BINGO! Head Spikes!!! Rambuta would be in Xenoverse 2 after all!!!!( Yes, I know I could have looked up if the Namekian customization hade spikes, but I wasn't thinking about that, I just wanted my Spiky Fruit Baby to be in Xenoverse!!) I'm actually glad that my items from my first character transfer over to the next because that means I get Zarbon's Circlet onto Rambuta ASAP( Kinda wish they included his earrings, too, but what can you do)

As for Keylie, since I couldn't replicate her Beast Form into Xenoverse, I'll just have to use her Elegant Form( Sucks for Keylie since she hates her Elegant Form, but at least she gets all kinds of cool Super Sayian forms!) And while I do wish their was a buzzcut hairstyle since that's Keylie's main hairstyle, the one I ultimately used does fit her pretty well. I also immediately changed her outfit because the default Sayian outfit had those short undies that some of the Frieza Force soldiers wear, and Keylie actually doesn't like wearing revealing clothes, so for now, The Latest Fashion is her go to bottoms, along with a TP Logo suit.

Now, as for the colors!

Yeah... their colors are pretty colors to Zarbon and Dodoria, something I was trying to avoid. But since we haven't really seen other members of their races aside from Yuzun from Super, I guess we can call this an exception... maybe...

I really want to take pictures of them with Dodoria and Zarbon for both comparisons and because it'll be fun to have them take pictures with their teachers. I do have to beat the Namek arc in order to unlock them( twice, in fact), but it'll be worth it.

How do u think king cold's past was in ur own version

My own Version? Hmm... I've actually never thought of creating my own version of DBZ.

I'd probably keep King Cold as close to canon as possible, maybe have him still conquer planets as a sort of " Hobby" once he retires.

How do you think the ice-jins reproduce?

Well, considering we have yet to see a female Icejin( even though the Dragon Ball Wiki does state Frieza has a mother), I'm going to assume for now that Icejin reproduce asexually like the Namekians.

A headcannon about frost demons:

Frieza and his family were actually outliers among their species. This isn't about the whole "Mutant" thing, it's much simpler than that.

Frost Demons are actually not usually a bunch of pricks. I mean, yeah, they can be cold, but not uncaring. It's just that Frieza's entire family were a bunch of narcissistic psychopaths for some reason.

I will accept this headcannon because I firmly believe that the majority of the Icejin race are not evil. It's just the Cold family that have the psychopathic world domination thing going on.

Heck, I'm pretty sure a lot of the Icejin have been judged and accused of being cold and heartless monsters outside their homeplanet due to the Cold Family's tyrannical rule.

Who are your favourite characters? Or characters you wish got more attention?

Good to be back in one of my first ever anime fandoms!

Ah yes, the one question everyone dreads. Picking favorites.

For good guys, definitely Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Bulma, DBS Broly and Majin Buu. Krillan and Gohan are also pretty cool characters, too.

As for villains, Frieza is definitely one of my favorites, but I do like his men a lot more. Specifically, Dodoria, Zarbon, and the Ginyu Force.

I also love Cooler and his Armored Squadron. They should have definitely gotten the Super treatment like Broly.

I think everyone knows by now.

As for my favorite 2003 turtle? I technically like all 4 boys because their personalities and quirks are all so endearing to me.

But if I had to choose one, I'd pick Raph because I love how while he's still the iconic tough guy who loves to brawl, he has a soft side to him, he cares about his family and goes out of his way to help those in need( Lone Raph & Cub from Season 1 and Touch & Go from Season 3 are great examples of this)
