Hate doing laundry? Check out these country laundry rooms for inspiration!
Tumblr media
REMEMBER, THE BEST DAYS END IN THE DIRTIEST CLOTHES. CHECK OUT THESE COUNTRY LAUNDRY ROOMS THAT WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO DO YOUR LAUNDRY!
I have a love-hate relationship with laundry. I love clean laundry (who doesn’t?), but I hate doing laundry for the most part. My “laundry room” (it isn’t even worthy of being called that) is basically a closet in my bathroom. When you slide the door open, you’ll see my stacked washer and dryer. They are so tiny that if I want to wash my sheets and bedding, I have to do three loads. THREE LOADS! It’s okay, though. My tiny washer and dryer do get the job done - even if it may take all day. I even have enough room in my laundry room closet to hang my mop and broom, and I got creative and pushed the machine over so that I could create much needed laundry storage. Okay, I shouldn’t hate so much on my laundry closet.
On the days when laundry does take me all day, I usually dream of the day when I will have an actual laundry room. I love laundry rooms because that’s the room where disorganization and dirty goes in and clean and tidy comes out. So, since I am living vicariously through this post, I’m going to write about the decor style that I want one day for my future laundry room: rustic and country. If you’re a fan of Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines like me, you may have an idea of what I’m talking about. Being from Texas, I love Joanna’s decor style, her taste in colors, and her love for shiplap and open spaces. She is a fan of clean, crisp, and tidy, and she is the inspiration for my country laundry room.

Home is where the art is when these pop art inspired interiors!
Tumblr media
IF THERE’S ONE THING THAT COMES TO MIND WHEN YOU IMAGINE THE 1950S AND 60S, IT’S PROBABLY POP ART! AND, POP ART DECOR IS STILL MAKING ITS WAY INTO MODERN INTERIORS.
Andy Warhol said, "In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." I’m sure the pop art icon, along with others, such as, Roy Lichtenstein and James Rosenquist didn’t expect for their style of artwork to be considered a tribute to the 1950s. Almost all of their work can be easily identified with this period of time. Ask anyone that’s ever been to a 50s stylediner, the style lives on!
Now, you’re probably wondering what on earth this has to do with home interiors. Well, I’ve spotted quite a few fresh and fashionable ways to incorporate this time-honored artistic style into the modern interior.

Are you a Disney Fan? Then get cooking with these awesome Disney Inspired Recipes!
Tumblr media
DO YOU HAVE AN OBSESSION WITH EVERYTHING DISNEY? GET YOUR DISNEY FIX BY CHECKING OUT AND MAKING SOME OF THESE SUPER CUTE AND FUN DISNEY INSPIRED RECIPES!
Like most of my friends, I am a die-hard Disney fan. I grew up with all the Disney princess movies, Bambi, Finding Nemo, Winnie the Pooh - you name it, I’ve seen it. If you were to walk inside my apartment, you’d realize that I’m totally serious about my Disney obsession. Every room has Disney decor. My living room is adorned with Thomas Kinkade artwork featuring the princesses, Disney couch pillows (orange bird, anyone?), and a collection of Disney DVDs. My kitchen is decorated with a Disney cookie jar, and every single one of my coffee cups is Disney themed. I have eight pictures on one of my bedroom walls, and each of these pictures is inspired by a different Disney movie (Snow White, Lion King, Winnie the Pooh, etc). I have Disney themed clothing. Even my bathroom has Disney bath bombs. Okay, so maybe I went over with my description about my Disney obsession, but this is a post about Disney inspired recipes.

Take a Clint Barton approach to your decor and add farmhouse elements!
Tumblr media
WE’RE GETTING TO MY FAVORITE AVENGER IN MY MARVEL SUPERHERO DECOR SERIES! LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT HAWKEYE’S HOME DECOR AND HOW YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN HOME LOOK LIKE HIS!
Hello, friends! Okay, I have to get this out of the way first. Hawkeye is my absolute favorite Avenger of all time and I am so excited to do this post! If you thought I was nerdy before, oh we’re gonna have fun! I love Jeremy Renner as the ever loveable Clint Barton, and was so happy he finally had lines in Age of Ultron and Civil War and was able to be the snarky, sarcastic Hawkeye I know and love from the comics. And, not only did he have lines, in Age of Ultron we actually got to see his farm! How awesome is that? Today, we’re going to go over the home decor in the farmhouse that Clint Barton lives in with his adorable family, and I may try to sneak in some reasons why I absolutely and completely love him. Okay. Fangirling pushed aside for the moment. Let’s talk Marvel superhero decor, Hawkeye style.
