Ok I seem to be on somewhat of a roll with guessing what's going to happen in ED lately (not that it's in any way predictable, of course..) This one's a little more random, though..

Obviously Kerry's coming back.. (Yay... :-\) and obviously she's going to confront Mack over the whole Chloe saga.... I bet she'll hit him, (possibly while in the pub) he'll fall, burst open his stitches and then get rushed back into hospital. Then Moira can give Kerry a Glasgow Kiss, tell her to stay the hell away from Mackenzie, Kerry can screech a bit after being threatened with the police, Amy will then screech a bit, Mack won't wanna press charges cause he'll feel he deserved it and then it'll all be forgotten about and never mentioned again.

Oh come on ED... be at least a little bit realistic! The day after Mack discharges himself from hospital and he's taking Moses to school, walking around the village without so much as a twinge of pain and then sitting in the pub drinking less than a week after being stabbed and needing surgery on his bowel??

I'm so pleased that he has told Moses the truth though. The kid isn't stupid and I wish Sarah & Noah would stop treating him like he is. He was going to work out eventually that his Mum isn't on "holiday".

I’m hoping the ultimatum is Charity telling Moira to tell Mack about Emma or she’ll tell him herself but it probably won’t be, I’ve said since the new year that I think Charity’s PTSD and Mack losing Reuben will eventually break them up again and then she’ll end off back with Vanessa eventually.

Do you think there’ll be any long term effects for Mack following his stabbing? It feels like there must be a reason they specifically mentioned needing surgery on his bowel.. but then again I feel like it meant nothing and he’ll be home by Monday with a Hello Kitty plaster and a packet of paracetamol. 😕

I'm sure there won't be any lasting damage. I mean Cain was at death's door a month ago and now he's just sitting there with Moira like nothing happened.

And there is a spoiler for tuesday saying "charity issues a heart-breaking ultimatum" - i'm sure that'll have something to do with Mack and her not coping. So he'll probably be home by then and completely fine. Not even a Hello Kitty plaster.

Charity gives someone a “heartbreaking ultimatum” next week…. Obviously it’ll be Mack, (even though considering she’s stabbed him it really should be him giving the ultimatums)…. I’m assuming she’s gonna say something along the lines of he needs to get help over losing Reuben or he’ll lose her too…😕😕

Cause why would she be by his side when things get tough for him? It’s always about her….

It's time for another rant guys...

From the metro newsletter interview with Emma A. This is really something the show has been obsessed with since the introduction of Wendy.

Hammering home how important it is for us the audience to think of the mothers/spouses or whatever of clear cut villains. Or sometimes even the villains themselves.I don't care about that!

I couldn't care less if Wendy mourned the loss of Lee, or if Lloyd the stalker of teenage girls has a sad wife. I don't want to see Lydia grieve over Craig, or care one bit if Harry/Damon has a mother (who didn't even seem to have a relationship with her own grandchild Chloe)!

I care about the horrific assaults of Victoria and Lydia, actual characters on the show. I care about Mackenzie almost being killed and I actually care about Amelia being stalked, even though she's hardly a favorite character, than I do for Lloyd's bit-part guest star wife.

I care about Robert and Dan (well one more than the other, but you know) being locked up with long prison sentences while rapists, stalkers and mafiosos are remebered fondly by their loved ones. And while 'supportive' dad Paddy locks Aaron in his house and tells him his husband has killed someone, so never must have valued their marriage or loved him like he said he did.

Then, the show finds it plausible that we should root for Cain to load a shotgun because his arch enemy Al had a consensual affair with Cain's sister? Or that Nate wants to fight Caleb for sleeping with his willing wife? (Even though one punch can kill!)

But we can't root for Dan to clock the guy that stalked his daughter or legacy character Robert for shoveling someone bragging about assaulting Victoria and other women and how he'll keep doing it for kicks?

Something is warped here.

I'm wondering if we're going to get a very similar outcome with Charity's PTSD that we did with Chas' PTSD. Thanks to TV Choice we know that in a couple of week's time, something is going to happen to Mack... Remember when Chas' PTSD kind-of culminated with her accidentally stabbing Diane? Now I'm not saying Charity is going to stab Mack... but there are "horrifying consequences" for him, so I imagine he's going to get hurt in some way. This might be the push that Charity needs to get professional help.

Weird but oddly specific dream last night.. it was so detailed I actually needed to come online when I woke up for confirmation I was just dreaming:

***TRIGGER - DEATH**

Robert had been released from prison and was really cagey over why he had been released early. Everyone was happy to see him apart from Aaron who was keeping his distance because he couldn’t handle Robert being home. A welcome home party was organised for him in the woolpack and again Aaron was nowhere to be found so Mackenzie went off to find him and they had a similar conversation to what they had in the six-hander episode which ended the same with Aaron getting into a taxi. Mackenzie heads back to the woolpack and is told by Charity that Robert was feeling unwell, likely due to the drinks he’d had and was lying down on the sofa.

Mackenzie goes out the back of the pub to find him and there’s this weird fog surrounding Robert. He calls out for Mackenzie and Mack cautiously approaches him and asks what’s going on. Robert admits he was released early because he is dying and wanted to come home and say his final goodbyes to everyone. He asks Mackenzie about Aaron and Mack lies and says he’s on his way. Robert makes Mackenzie promise to tell Aaron that while he was inside, he never stopped loving him and he thought about him every day. Mack grabs Roberts hand and tells Rob that he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure Aaron will be ok. Robert smiles and nods, and his grip on Mackenzie’s hand loosens. Mack wipes his eyes and looks up to see Aaron standing there, tears rolling down his face…

Next thing I know I’m back at work ranting at my colleagues about how unfair it was that Robert was brought back just to be killed off and that everyone on tumblr will be going into a full scale meltdown (I can’t make any kind of technology work in my dream)
