Welcome to the Tournament of the hottest boy band members of the 80s/90s
It was inspired by all the tournaments pitting famous beautiful people versus famous beautiful people of specific eras and specific jobs. The polls should start on the 8th of April, leaving around two weeks for submissions. I’ve compiled a list already but you can submit other boys that aren’t on the list through a google form. Feel free to submit non english speaking boy bands.
Propaganda
The only pictures accepted will be pictures from the 80s/90s and very early 2000s. To submit propaganda either use the same google form as for submissions (even if the guy in question is already on the list) or through the submission box or tag me on posts.
hii daisie, I have a question that has been around for a long time and I don't know if someone will have the exact answer but this time I'm curious haha. When artists register their songs, does it mean they wrote it a short time ago, or can they register it years later?
I ask myself this question based on the leaked 1d songs, some of which were recorded in 2015 and I was wondering if perhaps they were written before that year in particular. I also don't know if a page would show exactly when it was registered and even more so if it is filtered, but I have that doubt. If you can give me an answer I would appreciate it!!
Hi dear,
Yes, they can register it well after it was written. Taylor Swift does this all the time in order to not spoil her songs. Most artists won't register songs until the day the album is out because they know fans monitor the databases. Pretty sure all the songs from Harry's House only showed up in the databases after the album launch, even tho Harry had written them 1-2 years before. Even Little Freak, which he wrote originally for Fine Line in January 2019, was only registered in the databases in 2022 when Harry's House came out.
I don't know if there's delay in when they are shown vs registered, or if the date shown on the databases is accurate. I would assume it shows the date it was registered on.
In regards to the 1D songs, Where We Are in particular, is from late 2012-2013, discarded from the Midnight Memories era and album which came out in 2013. The 1D Historian explains it in this video:

However, I couldn't find the song registration she mentioned, so I'm not sure if it's real. The only song registered of that name by Ryan Tedder is not the 1D song. It is registered for Westlife, not 1D, for their 2009 album of the same name.
