me: okay so demi lovato first met the jonas brothers when she auditioned for their show in 2008 and she didn’t get it but then she eventually worked on camp rock with them and after doing camp rock they decided to work on her debut album together and at the time demi had a huge crush on joe but she was only 15 at the time so he rejected her and then they ended up co-writing a song about him rejecting her and joe’s brother nick was basically the middle man during the entirety of their friendship, fast forward to 2010 joe and demi did eventually date for like a month and then broke up and they both end up writing all these songs about each other over the span of 2011-2018 and it’s just a mess, then at some point in between that and 2017-ish demi and nick became really close again and wrote a DUET about how they drifted apart all at the same time they basically were into each other so then demi wrote songs about how she wanted to ruin their friendship and just date but it never happened and now they’re not even friends anymore. so now anyway rewind back to 2008 again taylor swift and joe jonas are dating and then he breaks up with her over voicemail and people are talking about it everywhere and taylor wrote some BOPS and then at the same time this is going on nick and miley cyrus aka hannah montana aka pop QUEEN were dating and then LOVEBUG was born. but then they broke up and also wrote break up songs about each other aka 7 things and sorry. one also being a DUET about their break up. he also wrote a song about him being emo about her being engaged/married but it was never released since the jonas brothers broke up lol yikes... but there are some happy songs too though, demi wrote a really sweet song back in 2008 about her bff at the time selena gomez. it’s cute. fast forward it’s 2021 now and these people are still writing and releasing songs about each other, I’m honestly invested. anyway if you made it this far I made a playlist of the songs if you’re interested

Hi, friends. How are you all? What’s new? What’s good? Missed ya. It’s legit been so long since I’ve gone on Tumblr the same way I used to. Probably haven't watched an episode of Riverdale since the lake house episode? 

But since then something amazing happened that I wanted to share. And I wanna share because, if it weren’t for both Riverdale and the fandom here on Tumblr, this probably wouldn’t have happened. 

This past August, after over a year filled with constant messaging here on Tumblr, later moving on to FaceTimes filled with amazing conversation, I finally got to unite with @macykay2. What started with freaking out about Bughead and Cole Sprouse eventually turned into way more than that. I realized I had found a friend that quickly became family 1,800 miles away. Even to this day, when I can’t even keep up with what’s going on in the Riverdale world, we still have endless things to talk about. 

Macy -- thank you, thank you, thank you. That’s all I can say. Lol. Your friendship this passed year and a half has done more in my life than you know. To think you were even there by my side (from miles away lol) during what has now become the biggest moment in my walk with my faith and the plans that God has laid out. Man, oh man, you’re the best. 

The whole point of this post (lol) -- the friendships and relationships built and formed from this website, this show, and this fandom go way beyond conversations about favorite ships, fanfics, theories, and RAS’ constant teasing. I often heard stories of people meeting life-long friends over the internet. I thought it was the wildest thing in the world but now I can 100% attest to it. And I think that’s the dopest thing in the entire world. 

So shout out to Riverdale and the CW for helping me find my soul sister and giving me a friend for life. ♡

this has nothing to do with anything and none of y’all probably care 

but I just saw hamilton for the second time last night while the tour is here in town. 

first time I saw it in the semi-nosebleeds one season tickets. loved it. just finally seeing the soundtrack I’ve been obsessed with for two years come to life. wow. 

saw it last night after winning the lottery. sat front row. loved it even more.

oh. my. goodness. I’m obsessed and 100% convinced that joseph morales is the most precious human being in the world. you know how they talk about how hamilton always had these amazing eyes? bro, let me tell you. THOSE EYES. 

guys. if you have the chance, y’all gotta make it out to see it. I can talk for hours about how amazing both times seeing it was.
