What regime should I follow in order to score 8+ bands in IELTS?
To accomplish any exam, we all need a proper timetable and practice. Similarly, IELTS is also an exam, that requires a lot more study and effort along with fluency. Even the native speakers feel challenging to score 8+ bands. However, an effective regime can help a person to score well in this exam. Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking are the four modules of this test. They all follow different rules and formats. But the common point to clear all the modules is to understand the patterns of questions in each segment.
The test always begins with the listening section, and the most valuable advice is to listen to the audio carefully. Moreover, always adjust the volume level prior and don't feel embarrassed to say it to the examiner if your headphones are not working correctly. When your test initiates, strive your best to write some necessary details in rough because this will help you to analyze the correct answer by matching these notes with the heard audio. Further, the most vital point is not to get panic if you miss an answer because this will only make you lose more answers. Moving forward to the reading section, always try to read the questions first because it is no worth reading the whole passage. Also, try to find the answers for the fill-ups first, because these are easier than the others. Furthermore, leave those questions that are hard to find because efforts applied to these will waste your time. Instead, try to complete the test at least 10 minutes before, so that you may have some time to find or guess the left out answers.
Then comes the writing section, which requires the most practice because it has several components, and they maintain different formats. Task 1 includes any diagram or table which the candidate has to describe in 150 words whereas, in Task 2, a candidate has to write an essay of 250 words. The noticeable thing is to never over or underwrite than the word limit. Along with that, always write a coherent article as it would be easy for the examiner to evaluate it. Additionally, make sure you include some examples in your thesis, which makes your essay more compelling. Similarly, always do proofreading of your article as it helps you to spot any errors you might have made while writing. Next comes the speaking module where most of the students lack because it checks your fluency, vocabulary, grammatical usage, and coherence which needs a daily English speaking conversation exercise. For this, the best strategy is to practice by recording your voice because the examiner will record your voice. To understand how loud you should be and what pace you have to maintain, you must train yourself by recording your voice and make the required changes. Also, make sure to avoid the non-lexical fillers like 'urgh' and 'hmm' and repetition of words.
All this management supports a student a lot to get 8+ bands in their IELTS exam because all this test demand is your presence of mind and how you deal with daily life situations.

How do I get 50 in the speaking section in PTE Academic?
One of the world's best renowned English proficiency test that is given by millions of students all around the globe to study in an English Language university is the Pearson Language Test of English Academic (PTE Academic). All the aspirants sitting for this exam work hard to do their best and dream of receiving the scorecards with high scores embedded in it. Person's four Basic English skills that are: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, are analyzed, through this examination. On the contrary, this test evaluates three main abilities of a student from all the sections: Oral Fluency, Pronunciation, and Content.
The PTE Test begins with the Speaking & Writing sections which includes seven tasks, out of which, five questions are of the Speaking section, and two are of the writing part. Specifically, this section is considered as one of the most challenging and quizzical modules as compared to others. Briefly, this session includes: Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, Retell Lecture, Answer Short Questions. One needs to practice a lot to score even 50 in the PTE Speaking Module. Furthermore, several tips and tricks must be followed by the aspirants to get the aimed goal. As stated earlier, there are three central skills that are accessed by the algorithms. Consequently, the first thing to keep in mind that you will be judged on your oral fluency and pronunciation more rather than the type of content you use. Subsequently, instead of focusing on your words one should keep a steady flow of the speech. Furthermore, you should also not include any complex or tricky words in your speech if you are not able to pronounce it accurately. These will force you to put some extra efforts on them which can afterward violate your scores. Also, an examinee must take care of the stops. These stays are of two types: Good pauses, that are made on full stop or a comma and the bad ones like 'Hmm' or 'A..'. On the opposite platform, bad stops must be avoided because these are irrelevant. They may restrict the examiner to comprehend your responses easily and will treat you as a beginner.
Further, as you will be recorded on the test day thus you must practice by recording your voice also. In this manner, you can acquire the knowledge and would be conscious of the volume and pitch your sound needs on the test day. This method also prevents any type of trouble or issue in your recording. In addition to it, Intonation is also very crucial in your speech, which means all those places where you need to drop and raise your tone. When one listens to the audio, he or she should also focus on the intonation patterns. It is because these are also imperative in expressing your point of view. Moreover, a listener can easily interpret the significant words or phrases in audio by noticing the inflection pattern of the speaker that also supports one to answer efficiently. Similarly, try to speak as naturally and clearly as you can and be more observant because most of the speaking tasks contribute to two or more modules at a time, also called the Integrated marking. Moreover, also take care of your answers, their word limit and try to be as straight-forward as you can. On the contrary, an examinee must also keep an eye on the timer because time-allotment for each task is different. You are served with all the instructions and directions during the test on the screen. One must also take a glance at it as well.
On the contrary, we must discuss various techniques for every task as each task has a distinct format. Starting with the Read Aloud task, one must read the written sentence carefully and should not repeat the statement if made any mistake. Next comes to Repeat the Sentence, where you need not to remember the whole sentence. Instead, you may learn some of the major keywords, understand the general idea and repeat them flawlessly. Further, when you are describing an image, make sure to transform your theoretical & academic language into practical words like illustrates, depicts, or elucidates. Also, reform the words according to the type of image shown. If you see a bar chart, you may form comparisons between the numerical values. However, for a pie-chart, you can use the word "slices" or "proportions" according to the context. Moreover, you should capture 5-6 best sentences from the spoken speech in the Retell lecture part and can use pronouns in the place of names. It is not necessary to repeat that long lecture by word-to-word. This task is aimed at how well you grasp the meaning and understand a prolonged topic. Along with that, it is also very crucial to weave your sentences error-free and this can be done by using a wide range of appropriate grammatical & tenses structures. However, in a nutshell, to ace this test, one must prepare for the functional language like comparing & contrasting in diagrams, expressing your opinions, speculating & summarizing any text, explaining any given topic or mimicking the heard speech.
Contradictory, there are a lot of different ways to train yourself well for your PTE Speaking test. In detail, the ideal method is to do practice as much as you can. It can be done by solving various PTE Practice Papers and Sample Tests available on the internet. Along with that, reading and listening activities also enhance one's speaking abilities. Both exercises help one to improve the vocabulary, grammar, and sentence formation, where most of the students lack. Further, one should listen to various podcasts like radio shows, English news, or online discussions. Also, a student should listen to a variety of extracts like Blogs, articles or your favorite novels. Apart from that, one must also keep in mind that this is a formal test and any type of slang or informal language will not be accepted. This may only decrease your scores.

IELTS General Reading: Tips to improve Band Score.
If you are a type of student who wants to persevere his or her education in a foreign country, then you must be familiar with a renowned & the most widespread exam called IELTS test. It is an abbreviation for International English Language Testing System and is accepted globally by countless universities and educational institutions. Furthermore, this test is also of two types, like any other English proficiency test: IELTS General and IELTS Academic. However, both the examinations are very different from each other, especially in terms of their Writing & Reading sections. Notably, the IELTS General Training Reading Section is very different & distinct from the Academic reading in a number of ways.
If we talk about the differences in both the modules, the general one is different from the academic test in the context of its language, difficulty level, & content. Although, it also asks 40 questions from a student and he or she has to answer them in a complete one hour. On the other hand, there are three sections included in its format, and they increasingly get difficult as we move forward. Furthermore, if we consider the format of the IELTS General test, the first section is comprised of 2-3 texts. All these texts are based on English life are not very long. Rather they are quite descriptive in nature. Moving forward, Section 2 can have more than one text and as said, is somehow difficult than the previous section. At last, the third section is the most challenging and has one long & hardest text. Moreover, the scoring pattern of this examination is also very unlike the academic test. To elucidate, you get a band 9 if you are able to achieve a score of 39-40. On the contrary, you manage to get a band 9, only if answered each question precisely. For a score of 39, you will earn only 8.5 bands.
In addition to it, comprehending different types of questions that may appear in the exam is also very imperative to improve your score. This helps you to do your IELTS Practice more efficiently. Some general types that have been noticed to come in your IELTS GT test are :
True/ False/ Not Given or Yes/ No/ Not Given.
Match Headings.
Summary Completion.
Multiple Choice Questions.
Fill ups.
Sentence Completion.
Diagram Labelling.
Table/ Flowchart Completion.
Short Answer Questions.
Choose an appropriate title.
....and many more.
Consequently, it is essential to develop separate & valuable skills for each type of question. Moreover, finding a strong strategy to tackle each question type can support you to ace the test effortlessly. Some strategies like elimination theory for the MCQs, collocation for fill-ups, Complex structures for short answers and many others can help you to understand & solve every question type flawlessly.
Subsequently, to improve & enhance your performance level, one must develop various skills for the exam. The aforementioned are numerous tips & tricks that one can implement during his or her IELTS Exam Preparation, thus further leading to a great and higher score. The first and the most central tip that should be taken care of is skimming. It refers to the reading of the passage so that one may get a general idea of the passage & what the writer is trying to depict. One must upgrade himself or herself in such a manner that he or she must be able to sense the topic & the layout of the passage without reading every single word of the comprehension. On the other hand, it does not mean that you spend most of your time skimming the passage only. You should not consume more than 2-3 minutes on it. This technique is especially helpful for MCQs, choose a title, and match headings. It helps you to get the overall idea of the passage and thus makes it easy for you to solve them. Another strategy that follows it is scanning, when you have to quickly scan & locate the answers accurately in the given text. Additionally, you can underline any of the important keywords or headings like dates, names, numbers, places, if you want. As a result, it helps one to be more precise and practical with this reading section as it is way too impractical to read every single word of passage just to find the answer to some questions. Moreover, an aspirant also has to follow a strict time limit of one hour, where he or she has to read, understand, and attempt all the questions correctly at the same time. Consequently, this module directly challenges the ability and eligibility of a student. Therefore, you should do an efficient preparation using some certified IELTS Reading Practice Material in order to develop speed reading skills to locate the answers quickly.
Further scrutinizing some other techniques, vocabulary is also a key component that contributes a lot to your IELTS Scores. You must polish and develop your area of vocabulary and grammar efficiently as one cannot understand a word without knowing the meaning of it. Apart from that, you must also embrace when & where you should use the words. This will help you to conjecture the passage and it's meaning. Along with the meaning, vocabulary is also inclusive of collocations, verbs, nouns/ nominals, etc. Now, to uplift your vocabulary strength, you can either sustain a self-made dictionary or learn new & different words on a daily basis. On the contrary, grammar is also the core of the English language. It is very essential when you have to put words or fill the gaps. Moreover, it also ensures that you are making correct use of tenses & singular/plural while filling up the gaps. Notably, one can notice each of the mentioned things when you will do IELTS Practice. Moreover, it is also very crucial to expose yourself to a variety of articles and passages on a range of topics. Also, you will receive ample easy and hard comprehensions, thus you should also prepare with the texts that have different difficulty levels from each other. Apart from that, facing more of the complicated passages will groom yourself positively as you will get habitual of reading, skimming, and scanning complex passages more often. In this way, this can be a perfect tip for your IELTS GT Preparation and refinement of your English skills.
Jointly with all of them, practice is also very substantial as it is said that without practice, you won't be able to gain anything. For practice, one can do countless things, He or she can read a newspaper regularly to be updated or can read headlines below the TV News channels to increase reading speed. All these types of daily exercise boost a candidate to come out with flying colors to a great extent. However, along with all these activities, one should also not forget to keep solving IELTS Sample Papers to get familiar with the test, its question types, & format. This is a very imperative step toward success as without solving a simulated version of the test, there are complete chances of getting confused during the original exam. Moreover, not only the structure but this attemptation also helps one to manage his or her time accurately and know the instructions to solve the question papers effortlessly. Similarly, you can find a plethora of IELTS Test papers and IELTS Practice Tests that can teach you various things and tips that should be taken care of while appearing for the examination. Specifically, IELTS Online Preparation is also considered very prominent and friendly by various students as one can access it from anywhere at any time. Contradictorily, don't forget to subscribe to the Test Evaluation feature of the fourmodules.com where you can get all your response checked & verified by the experts. Later, this evaluation will support you to know your weaknesses and how to improve them by using an Improvement Planner (also available at this renowned website).
In conclusion, it is not impossible to get high scores in any of the exams you appear for. The only thing that matters is that you must be realistic while predicting your scores. In brief, everyone is aware of his or her current or performance score, thus if your English level is okay, you should not aim for 8 or 8.5 bands. However, it does not mean that you are discouraging yourselves. It refers to a mental strategy of not getting disappointing in the future. In a nutshell, you can achieve any score you want only by practice and by improving your performance level (and basics).

How do I score better in the 'Repeat Sentence' question of the speaking section in PTE Academic?
In PTE Speaking, most of the scores depend on Repeat Sentence Task. It is the second question type or task in the PTE Speaking module. In this task, first some audio plays and then you have to listen that audio in a given period, and repeat it. To what extent you repeat the sentence, on that purpose, you get your score.
You just have three seconds before the audio plays. After the audio finishes, you can't hear a sound of beep like other question types. You just have to speak quickly after the audio finishes. If you stop for more than three seconds, the recorder stops automatically and you lose your scores.
Common Problems Encountered
There are so many problems occur while doing PTE Repeat Sentence Task. The main problem that occurs in this task is that sometimes the sentence may be very lengthy. Moreover, we speak sentences in a hurry. In a hurry, sometimes we can't speak words correctly or decrease our marks.
The other issue is that the sentence can be lengthy as well as fast when you hear the audio, and moreover, there is some background noise in the audio, by this, you can't listen well. So, in this case, you have to concentrate well on just words, not on other things.
The other problem is that we can't understand someone's accent. It is difficult for us to understand. So, it is very difficult for us in the test. When they don't understand, they lose their confidence and they don't do well in the examination.
To overcome all these problems, you just have to do the practice of PTE Repeat Sentence Task, do some PTE Practice Test for this task, and get good scores.
Scoring Method in PTE Repeat Sentence Task:
Well, for PTE Speaking Module, there is the most important principle you have to follow- What you speak and how you speak.
In this task, you will get a score based on what you speak in this task because you have to repeat all the sentences in this task. If we talk about how to speak, it covers your Oral Fluency and Pronunciation part.
The main thing you have to understand for the Repeat Sentence task is not only pronunciation but also memory. In general, humans can keep only small pieces of information in the memory at one time and the Repeat sentence task contains seven or eight words you have to keep in your memory.
Don't take false starts which make a bad influence on the listener. One more important thing. Do take unnecessary pauses because if you take pauses where it doesn't need, it will automatically lose your score because by taking pause, you decrease your time and don't complete this question type.
Tips to improve your pronunciation in PTE Repeat Sentence:
Like other skills, PTE Speaking task assesses your basic skills i.e. Oral Fluency and Pronunciation as well as important for PTE Repeat Sentence Task. Those students who speak English very well in their everyday life, they shocked when they also get a low score in the pronunciation and oral fluency.
Every day listen to the radio, podcasts, audiobooks, etc. everyday. When you listen, don't listen to just entertainment. Listen very carefully every word, it's rhythm, intonations, etc. It's very good if you listen to some native speakers.
Watch every day TED Talks. Download the transcript i.e. you can watch as well as read, make notes of all the words about those you have a doubt how to pronounce.
For better pronunciation, speak slowly. Because pronunciation is essential for PTE Repeat Sentence Task. If you speak fast, then you lose your score because speaking fast effect on your pronunciation.
Tips to Improve your Memory in PTE Repeat Sentence Task:
Play games and quizzes to increase your memory. If you play quizzes or games, it will help you to increase your short term memory.
Methods you have to follow while doing the PTE Repeat Sentence Task:
You have to reduce your frustration and practice every day.
The other important tip or method you have to follow is that you have to increase your listening skills. As there is a famous phrase: Fake It Until You Make It. This sentence explains itself.
When the audio plays, your all concentration is on the audio-only. Try to learn the sentence, the words in the sentence or the meaning of the sentence. If you do this, you can easily get a good score. Because note making is not allowed in this task.
There is one more method to learn the sentence. In your mind, you can draw a painting according to which you have heard. Because every student has a creative mind. When you have to speak, then according to your painting, you repeat the sentence.
The score will give according to pronunciation and fluency. If you think too much while doing this task, it will automatically lose your score.
The Last and most important thing is Practice, Practice, and Practice. Without Practicing, you can't get a good score. Because Practice is the main key to success. And you will get so many online platforms where you get PTE Preparation Material. You just take some time and choose wisely the online platform, which suits you best. By Practicing numerous PTE Practice Test | Mock Test, achieve the target score in the exams.

Lastly, although scoring in any module or exam can be difficult, but not impossible. Every aim or goal can be accomplished if one puts all his or her efforts and hard work in it. By obeying some of these useful techniques, an applicant can enhance the writing skills flawlessly. Moreover, this will further assist a child to raise his or her IELTS scores by standing out in every section. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a very prevalent and most high-stakes English proficiency test, among all the non-speakers of English that owns it as a second language. All these students and workers need proof of their proficiency and this test accurately verifies it. After an expert evaluation, many skilled checkers provide you a band for each section and their average becomes your overall score or band. This test is aimed at supporting the aspirants who wish to pursue their higher education by participating in an English language University-level program or want to migrate to any other country on work or job basis, the IELTS test can help you approach your education, career or life goals. Briefly, it is a task-based test that covers four main skills of a language: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. The LRW test is held on the same day at a particular test center. The atmosphere of the test center is quite similar to an examination hall and is very strict. Under such conditions, many students feel very struggling to write an essay, where they have to think a lot to offer a great essay. However, this complete guide will discuss each and every aspect of the IELTS Academic Writing task 2 to ensure your good results in this question.
Firstly, we must highlight some basic information about the writing task 2. In this task, a candidate is made to compose an essay or article of 4-5 paragraphs, depending on the topic. Specifically, if we talk about the time allotment, each candidate gets a complete, 1-hour for the writing module. It depends on the fact that how you divide your time accordingly. It is considered that one should not spend more than 20 minutes on task 1 because task 2 is lengthier and quite hard. Consequently, you must save at least 40 minutes for this test. Moreover, if we look in-depth for the time-division, one of the best distributions is to spend 2-5 minutes on planning and brainstorming for the essay. Following it, on writing and presenting it, one must allocate a good half-an-hour and the left out 10 minutes should be devoted to editing and revising the passage. In this way, one should give his or her quality time to each and every part involved in writing to avoid any blunders & mistakes. Furthermore, the examiners evaluate your ability to express your opinions to an abstract question, reacting to social or environmental problems, analyzing the benefits or harms of a particular point, providing solutions to any problems, giving opinions & suggestions. Thus, one must take help from various Blogs and articles written by experts to widen the storehouse of your ideas.
The next important step is organizing & arranging the essay, which plays a vital role as one has to present his or her efficiently to score high. As we discussed the planning feature previously, it is very crucial to note that this complete test is an Academic and formal test. It allows and at the same time forces an aspirant to avoid any kind of informality and slang in his or her write-up. Apart from that, a thoughtful and neutral tone is highly appreciated by the examiners while evaluating the essays. Weighing to a particular side (either positive or negative), unless and until told so can adversely affect your scores. Another essential feature to organize the thesis well is putting all the similar ideas in a single paragraph to avoid confusion. This separation makes it easy for the evaluator to check your essays effortlessly that also leads to upliftment of your bands. Several experts are sitting on the online platform to serve you for the same purpose also. One can register yourself and with the help of an Improvement planner, anyone can enhance his or her performance by learning various tips and techniques.
Subsequently, to comprehend the scoring pattern of a particular task also proves very beneficial. Initially, a candidate has to answer an open and abstract question, thus the judgment is done on your content and thoughts as there is no clear or "correct" answer for it. The examiners basically check your point of perception, your portrayal of the text, and various skills that act as the base of your scores. These are:
Task Achievement ( 25% ): How well you accomplished the given question.
Coherence & Cohesion ( 25% ): How well you stick to the topic and the examiner concedes your message.
Lexical Resource ( 25% ): Ability to use an extensive series of vocabulary precisely.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy ( 25% ): Ability to implement the grammar rules & tenses in your speech accurately.
It is very important to give the examiner what he or she wants in order to score high. Moreover, this task particularly contributes two-thirds of its portion to your overall scores, which means complete 67% of the writing band comes from task 2.
Along with all the basic and formal necessities, there are certain additional tips that should be followed appropriately to stand out. It covers some understandable vocabulary words, relatable examples to reflect your practical side, linkers & connectors which act as a bridge between two lines, and a combination of various simple, complex, and compound sentences. These insertions will uplift your essay to an upper level and would draw the attention of the examiner toward your piece of work. Along with that, there are numerous habits that a student mistakenly incorporates while writing.
Some of them are bullet points or numbered list that makes your representation informal. Also, paraphrasing is very imperative for an essay because sometimes many students imitate the question sentences in their write-up in the same form as they are. On the contrary, taking and including large chunks directly from the topic will lower down the score. One must polish the vocabulary skills first and try to use synonyms & varied sentence structures to avoid duplication. Notably, this technique does not only help to avoid the question imitation, but it has also made its place in preventing redundancy in an essay. A broad and extensive vocabulary and using a cluster of simple, complex, and complicated sentences support one to add variation into his or her text.
Furthermore, when starting the preparation, it is also very valuable to solve the IELTS Practice Test first to know the current band where you stand.
