Someone made a light Batman reference in front of me yesterday and I made the mistake of recognizing it. "Oh, are you a fan?" Sir, attempting to articulate the toxic relationship between myself and the detective comics universe would put us both in the hospital. You seem like such a nice normal dad with a healthy attitude towards media consumption. I have been exposed to pornography you can't even fathom. I am being held hostage. I know the names of possibly every Robin and the constant reinterpretations of inconstant timelines. I have formed opinions people kill each other over online. They may still find me if I am ever too vocal. We are not the same. I wish I was you.

Okay back to Slade posting. I love him and Kori interacting so I just wanted to put the whole fight here. I don't know how exactly to word this but there's something almost cheerful about Slade in his early stuff. I love that he gets hit with something he knows was meant to be a killing blow and he's like "Nice." He's having fun.

Whenever the Legion of Doom et al has their annual summer cookout, the person manning the grill MUST wear the "Grillin' like a Villain" apron.

Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.
