listening to perfect is an emotional experience in and of itself, but i can usually hold it together unless i’m having a really difficult day. but live? i have seen that song live FOUR TIMES and i bawled my eyes out every time. started sobbing as soon as the first chord was played and i never expected to react that way!

i lowkey feel like when i see sleep token in 10 days (oh my god it’s so close?!) that euclid is going to hit me much the same. i have cried many times to that song just listening to it, but nothing devastating. i have a feeling that as soon as those first piano chords start live i am going to fall to pieces

ngl i hope i get that emotional! it’s a truly magical experience to be moved that intensely by a song, especially when you’re surrounded by people who feel the same way

most frustrating part of teaching myself the solo from telomeres:

the notes are easy! theoretically this solo is really simple which is part of what makes it sound sooo good. but! i cannot for the life of me get the right rhythm or groove with the notes yet. part of it is that i am an awkward little freak who has very little groove but a ton of natural rhythm- i get a little too rigid with my playing i think

please i need ves and iv to share some of their swagger with me so i can get this solo smooth

oh hell yeah exie’s cooking again!!! it’s been a hot minute since i’ve made a proper meal, the pasties really took it out of me and then i was away from home for a few days but i’m back at it!

i was craving pork and knew our carrots had to get used so i present- lemon, garlic pork chunks (idk we cut up tenderloins into medallions-ish), garlic and olive oil vermicelli (pasta-roni for the win), and some lemon/garlic/honey/thyme roasted carrots!

my new docs for worship have arrived and man oh man did i forget how much i hate breaking these bastards in 😅 last time it cost me three pairs of socks (they had to be thin, the boots are very fitted lol) and i had six blisters on each foot. to be fair, i did decide that the best way to break my old pair in was by walking 7km in one day in them but hey, it worked!

this time around i bought a slightly larger pair so i can wear thicker socks (i found some sort of checkered ones!!) and also have a little more room for my feet. but now i need these new ones to be broken in within the next 12 days. here’s to constantly wearing them around the house!
