5 Ways for Entrepreneurs to Decompress Over the Holidays
Tumblr media
No matter which holiday(s) you celebrate, this time of year can be a great time to get some much-needed rest and relaxation.  For many industries (certainly not all, but many) it’s a great time of year to carve out these moments for yourself since clients are focused on family.  But we all know that relaxation can be easier said than done when you’re used to being on the go.
Here are some of the best ways to decompress:
Guided Meditation. It can be difficult to turn your brain off!  While the goal of meditation may seem lofty, for those who think meditation is impossible, try guided meditations!  The internet is full of great tools to help you practice mindfulness and decrease your anxiety.
Make plans with friends you haven’t seen in a while! One of the big down sides to being an entrepreneur is how isolating it can be.  Even when you have a supportive and loving tribe, it can be easy to lose touch when so much of yourself is wrapped up in your business.  What better time to reconnect?
Turn off your phone. Yup, I said it.  Don’t put it on silent.  Don’t put it on vibrate.   Turn it OFF.  It doesn’t have to be all week, or even for a whole day, but take some time and give yourself the gift of unplugging, even if it’s only for a few hours.  And no cheating with your iPad either!
Read for pleasure. No business books, no self-improvement, just good old-fashioned FUN.   Think back to the time your loved reading the most, doesn’t matter how old you were.  Was it Roald Dahl, Stephen King, Jackie Collins?  Doesn’t matter.  Embrace the fun of reading and pick something for the sole purpose of your own enjoyment!

Sandra & Briana's Favorite Things
When you’re a CEO, you’re a busy gal.  You must ensure that your time is productive, lucrative, and well thought out, and furthermore, you must have the tools to help you do that!  And yes, we’re talking about tech and software, but there are also daily items that can make you happier and more productive in play too!
Here are some of Sandra & Briana’s Favorite Things!
If you’re never heard of Stanley 1913, you’re in for a treat. A brand with a 100+ year history, Stanley 1913 is the proud maker of insulated travel cups, food storage, and more to join you on all of your adventures. Plus, their tumblers and lunchboxes are perfect for keeping your warms warm and your colds cold when you’re on the go!
Another disruptive brand to admire is Caliwater, founded by Vanessa Hudgens. A breakthrough innovation, Caliwater is the first ever cactus water beverage on the market! Packed with naturally occurring electrolytes and skin fortifying antioxidants, this beverage is delicious to boot! It’s hard to be productive when you’re dehydrated, so you better stock up! If you follow Bri on Insta, you know that she is all about products that keep you healthy and hydrated, Caliwater is a new fave!
Luxy has tons of amazing products that Sandra loves, but she especially loves the Velcro Hair Rollers.  Whether she be preparing to speak on a massive stage, snuggle in for an intimate mastermind, or hop on a quick zoom call, Luxy Velcro Hair Rollers are the reason Sandra’s curls always look lush and long lasting. Luxy keeps it all in the family as Briana is a fellow Luxy lover, utilizing their clip-in extensions to awaken her “boss lady” alter ego!

5 New Year's Resolutions Every Entrepreneur Should Make in 2023
As you may have learned from our smash hit Webinar: Goal to Game Plan, NOW is the time to make those plans for 2023!  We have our work goals and personal goals, but every good entrepreneur knows the secret is to get clear and start STRONG.   1.)
Get clear on your finances.
Any ambiguity surrounding your finances should be made crystal clear.  That should be a top (if not THE top) resolution for 2023.  It may not be the most invigorating way to start the year, but before tax season, take the time and hire the right experts to answer all your questions. 2.)
Understand your goals.
Your everyday actions should always be working toward your goals. Take the time to create an action plan around your goals and gain a deeper understanding of what actions you must take to achieve them. 3.)
Be more empathetic.
They say to treat the janitor with the same respect as the CEO.  This is especially true for CEOs.  To be a leader worth following, you must remember that everyone around you also has hopes and dreams, perhaps you can both help each other get there.   4.)
Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional health.
Being an entrepreneur is rewarding, but it’s hard work!  You must treat your body and your mind with the utmost care and understanding.  This includes taking time off, nourishing yourself, exercise, and more!   5.)
Find an accountability partner.
With so many moving pieces, it can be especially easy to let yourself off the hook. It’s one of the reasons so many New Year’s resolutions fail! So, as we move into the last couple weeks of 2022, find that person who will keep you accountable while cheering you on. No one does it alone.
If you're looking for more inspiration on how to reinvent your business in 2023, look no further! Get More Info :

How to Neutralize Your Tax Bill
As an entrepreneur there are tons of ways to put more money in your pocket.  We're thrilled to have guest blogger and eWN PLATINUM Member, Theresa Garcia, write for us this week to teach us more about the Employee Retention Credit.
What is the Employee Retention Credit?
It’s a refundable payroll tax credit up to $26,000 per employee for small businesses and non-profits with less than 500 FT employees.
How do you qualify?
With decreased revenue or a COVID event that negatively impacted your business by more than 10%.
Why take action now?
At the end of the year you’ll no longer be eligible for $5000 per employee for 2020.
What is the first thing to do?
Gather your documents for 2019 to 2021. You will need your gross receipts and your average number of full-time employees. Then just tell us how COVID-19 affected your business.
Who do you contact?
There are a lot of businesses out there doing ERC but they’re not necessarily qualified. When you work with Rubi’s Positive Empowerment you’re working with a vendor from the state and federal government who has partnered with processors that have 46 years of forensic accounting experience. These processors are the same people that audit the FBI, Post Office and Securities Exchange.

Success Reimagined 3.0
Success Reimagined 3.0 was one for the ages!  And I’m not just saying that because we spent several days assembling lightboxes, though I am incredibly happy you all seem to love them so much!
What SR 3.0 looked like in Dallas.
While the Yancey trio was on stage in South Carolina, I got to enjoy SR 3.0 from the comfort of my desk. It worked out phenomenally well, because my dog just had surgery and Sandra and Kym were kind enough to let me bring him to the office for the duration of the event.  Unrelated, I know, but I had to give a shout out to bosses who are so understanding and accommodating before diving into all the brilliance Success Reimagined 3.0 had to offer!
Sandra on Imagination. When we’re little we’re taught that imagination is a great thing.  It teaches us to learn, grow, create, and relate.  But as we get older, that same imagination we were once praised for, slowly becomes unrealistic or childish. With each day that passes into adulthood, with every loan that is signed, and with each credit card that’s opened, the magic of possibility seems to slip from our grasp just a little bit more.  So often it seems that the lives we’re building are also subtly boxing us into a corner where imagination and possibility are further from reality than they ever were when we were children.  Sandra’s reminder that imagination enhances the business rather than detracts from it, was a game changer.
The Tune of Your Brand. Who else had their mind-blown thinking about the sound of their brand?  Even if you’re not the face of your business’s brand, you are your brand. It’s so easy to get hung up on colors, fonts, and logos (all of which are incredibly important, mind you), that it can be easy to forget about the FEEL of the brand.  How many of us hear a song and it makes us think of someone we know?  Identifying the feel of your brand through music is an eye-opener.  PS: My personal brand’s song is She’s a Rainbow by The Rolling Stones.  In case you
Tumblr media
Content Pillars. Briana’s talk on creating influence was a favorite.  For one thing, I loved how she made the very valid point, that to be an influencer you must be someone people want to be influenced by.  Additionally, utilizing the content pillar and brain-mapping method is such outstanding advice when you think of how social media is an ongoing commitment.  Not running out of content is kind of essential, so identifying those 3-5 categories you could talk about forever and then honing in on how to make that content entertain, educate, and engage is pretty darn huge.
Michael Gerber.  For those who’ve attended eWN events in the past, I think we can all agree that Michael brought a different flavor to the SR 3.0 stage.  His conversation with Sandra and Kym was spicy and authentic.  Whether you love or hate is style or whether you agree (or disagree) with his thoughts on entrepreneurs vs. technicians, we are a networking organization, and some of the best lessons we can learn come from conversations with people who think differently than we do. If you only listen to people who reinforce what you already believe, you’re missing out.
Tumblr media
I’m Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. I loved this part of SR 3.0 not just because I’m a huge bookworm who is always down for a good fiction recommendation, but because it’s so valuable to think on how the way we were raised impacts our professional behavior, goals, and the way we live our lives. Our parents and families love us, but they don’t always understand us. Hearing Sandra’s story through that lens was powerful.  I definitely didn’t cry though. I did not. I absolutely did not. That was you…
THE DIP. Briana’s reaction to learning her parents used to take dance classes was adorable.  And insisting they do the dip was *chef’s kiss.  Sandra and Kym can consider this advance notice that we expect an encore dip on stage at ICON 2022. That’s more than six months to practice.  Don’t let us down!

Culture Index: Take Specific Actions to Scale
Before the meeting, you will have the opportunity to complete a Culture Index survey.  Then Tim will guide you through reviewing your Culture Index.  You will learn about the seven work-related personality traits to better understand how you are wired and how you are modifying your behaviors to do your work.  You will discover your “incomes” and your “taxes” when running your business.  He will then help you use this knowledge to understand what you need to outsource and to whom to achieve your goals.  During the After Glow, Tim will help you discover how to match your ”taxes” to a resource’s “incomes” to accomplish your goals.  Following the meeting, everyone will have the opportunity to receive a free 15-minute one-on-one review with Tim to go over their Culture Index results.
Understanding my traits
Identify my “incomes” & “taxes”
Identify what you should be outsourcing/hiring for
Identify who you should outsource to and why
Speaker Bio
I’m a former Master Golf Instructor for Arnold Palmer turned serial entrepreneur, Fortune 500 senior leader, and now advisor to CEOs. I’ve personally led teams that have created over $750MM in assets over a 20-year career. The lessons I’ve learned during that time both inform and drive every conversation I have with my clients from a place of experience, stewardship, and desire to help them achieve their personal vision of success.
After hiring and leading hundreds of people, I came to realize that in the absence of valid data around my human capital, I was strictly relying on gut and instinct to guide me. I don’t do that with any other part of my life, yet that was my method of choice with the most important resource I had…my people. Looking back, it pains me to think how much money I’ve left on the table by hiring the wrong people, mismanaging talent, under communicating my vision, and putting square pegs in round holes.
My ideal clients are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and have now turned to mobilizing valid & objective data on their people in order to maximize ROI and engagement, avoid bad hires, and reduce costly turnover

5 Business Trends to Expect in 2022
Tumblr media
It was just less than two years ago when our whole world changed.  No matter how different we think we are from the people we meet, the events that began in early 2020 intrinsically connect us all as the global pandemic has become a cultural touchstone and forever changed who we are as people and how we do business.
As we all shake off the debris of these tumultuous times, let’s take a look at what we can expect as we march forward into 2022.
The Gig Economy. For years employees worked long hours with a growth in income far below that of the 20th century. When the pandemic hit, businesses had varied reactions as to what to do with their employees, which left a good portion of the workforce feeling jaded and revaluating their career choices. Enter the great resignation.  The Gig Economy was already on the uptick, but the pandemic really put a spotlight on the benefits of this kind of work.  Meaning the economy has opened a window for companies that offer gig work opportunities, management, and support.
Going digital is no longer optional, it’s a necessity. Millennials and Gen Z combined make up over half the US population.  And while Millennials in particular have less wealth than their parents, they are still an economic powerhouse for buying and influence. Both generations are digital natives, companies without websites, apps, and other ways to digitally conduct business will be left behind and in some cases be seen as illegitimate or less trust-worthy to Millennial and Gen Z buyers.
The future of events will be hybrid. While the explosion of online events initially came out of necessity, it offered an alternate experience for those who never engaged in live events.  Devotees of in-person events will return to their preferred event method, while those who enjoyed the convenience of online events will expect those opportunities to continue in some form, so it’s important not to abandon online events entirely as the world continues to take steps towards reopening.

Million-Dollar Success Series: Sales Conversion
Sales Conversion
Tumblr media
Is sales a dirty word to you? Well, if you’re an entrepreneur, get over it. You can’t have one without the other. In this final day of our Million-Dollar Success Series, Sandra Yancey and her guest, Lisa Sasevich, put the fun back into sales conversion.
Sales is Your Friend
Sales conversion starts from a place of giving. The days of telling your prospect all about YOU are over. Client-focused is the way attract loyal customers. As Lisa Sasevich says on the Million-Dollar Success Series call, “Be the client you want to attract.”
Lisa calls herself, “The Queen of Sales Conversion.” This makes sense given that she has grown her sales consulting business to a multi-million dollar company.
Million-Dollar Takeaways
In this call, you will learn the 3 components to creating a mindset around money, how to get people to take action and what you can do to create and leverage an irresistible offer.
Take Action
As Sandra says, “Don’t wait until you’re ready to take action. Take action to be ready.” There’s so much to learn from these 2 ladies, so watch and listen to their wisdom and learn to take the selling out of sales.

Million-Dollar Success Series: Lead Generation
Lead Generation for Your Business
Generating leads for your business can happen in many different ways. The key is getting your ideal client in the door. In today’s Million-Dollar Success Series, Sandra Yancey talks with Digital Marketing Strategist, Zenovia Andrews, about lead generation.
Tumblr media
Lead Generation is a Warm-up
One of my favorite resources for digital marketing is Hubspot. Writer and lead gen expert for Hubspot, Anum Hussain, describes lead generation as, “It’s a way of warming up potential customers to your business and getting them on the path to eventually buying.”
Zenovia Andrews explains that the best way to attract your ideal client is to make them an offer they can’t refuse. In this call you’ll learn what type of offer is yummy and irresistible.
Serving Others
If you come from a place of serving others your clients will be more attracted to you, because they feel like you care about them. People love to get stuff for free. If you can deliver some juicy content to your ideal customer, then they will want to know what else you have to offer.
