If we look at a ball pitcher , it usually around 5-8 seconds between each pitch. But can we engineer it to go faster?

For context, at the end of chapter 5, Goro Majima takes Haruka hostage just to pick up a fight with Kiryu. So the two meet up at the Yoshada Batting Center. In the middle of Majima’s speach, he gets hit in the face by a baseball.
My goal is to find how much force there is in this one hit.
First i need to know how fast a Baseball can be pitched. Thankfully that was easy to find : 100 miles/hours.
Then, how heavy is a regular Baseball? A quick research shows that it is 149g.
Now for the force... according to a nice force calculator I’ve found online, a baseball going at 100m/h would be at most 6.6609 Newtons of force.
What does it mean for Majima’s survival? Let’s look where he was hit :

If you have an hard time seeing the hit here’s the freezeframe for each:
Clearly, he’s hit on the head but the position shift slightly between the original and the remake. However, if I had to make an average of the hit itself, I’d estimate the baseball hitting the temple.
That’s bad news since the temple is one of the weakest bone on the human skull. In fact, not much Newtons is needed to fracture or puncture the yemple bone.
According to the article “How Much Pressure To Break A Skull?” by the Maine New Online, it take as much as about 1,100 pounds of pressure force or 4,893 Newtons.

Sidenote: Strangely enough this bone can be brittle enough that even a regular No.2 Pencil can easily stab through it. In fact this question that started this tread was because i’ve seen such feat being done to a skull that is twice as dence as a regular human skull.
