✨LIFE LESSONS FROM TEACHING YOGA✨ I believe the biggest lesson in my life that I have learned from teaching yoga is allow the present moment to speak its wisdom to you. 🐠 Every class I teach, I enter the room with no plan. 🧘🏼♀️ Many teachers plan out every move, every pose, every word they’ll speak but for me I walk into the room and allow the room to speak to my heart. 🌺 ✨I feel the presence of the room . . ✨I feel what my students need the most . . ✨I listen to them speak to me from the way they move their body . . ✨I guide our next pose by listening to their breath If I had a plan I wouldn’t give my students what they truly needed in this very moment. 🏔 I replicate this lesson to my life if I planned out every day, every action, every word, every step I needed to reach my goal then my life would be so rigid and structured. 🦒 I would miss on the beautiful opportunities that lie right in front of me because I planned to go to a job that I don’t enjoy from 9-5. 🚀 This is the exact reason why at 18 years old I told myself I will be my own boss. 🙌🏼 I allowed myself the freedom to let the present moment speak to me. 🐬 I granted myself the power to accomplish anything I truly wanted to and especially what I truly need in the present moment. 🦋 Now if you are reading this and just now recognized you have been breathing pure fresh breathes all day. 🌻 Breathe slowly and deeply. Allow yourself to take in with this truly means to you and how you may want to reshape your life. 😇 Don’t let plans and structure control your life. ☀️ The longer you let yourself stick to a rigid routine the longer you fear what your truly capable of achieving. 😊 Many people ask me where I am traveling next. 🌸 My honest answer is, I never know I live my life day by day. ✨HEARTWARMING MEALS✨ I show so much gratitude for all the warming souls that I had the opportunity to cook for this weekend on Retreat ! . . This escape to Flagstaff, Arizona truly filled my soul, with all the positive affirmation, grateful people, the chance to gift others the education on nutrition and show em how good healthy food actually can taste! 🌞 . . I do love to cook but what I love even more is the smiles and peace it brings others to purely enjoy food ! . . This weekend a woman named Lynnanne put me to tears of joy on my face. . . She told me she hasn’t been able to taste or smell for 5 years and when she walked in the kitchen and enjoyed each meal I filled with love her senses all came back to her. . . She smelled the spices cooking and she sat there saying “I can finally taste and smell food”. . . To be able to bring back life to a beautiful human my life shifted and made me realize this is why I energetically pour all my love and light into every dish that I cook to fuel and nourish the sacred bodies and minds of the people who get to purely enjoy it🌞🙏🏼🌸 . . I became a certified yoga instructor at 16 and a few months later I went to my High School principal and said what’s it going to take for me to graduate a year early? . I buckled down and did everything I could to graduate before the end of my junior year. . . With no doubt, I made it happen. . . The last day of school I took off and jumped on the Queen Mary 2 a huge cruise ship to Europe. . . In two years I traveled to 57 different countries spreading my message of how I healed from addiction and trauma through yoga. . .
