saturday april 27, 2024 ~ 3 days til the last class meeting of my undergrad career .. 7 days til commencement .. (and probably like 2 weeks until I actually finish and turn in my capstone paper looool)

i have eaten so many gas station breakfasts the past week, and drank so many different coffee, and sat in so many different chairs... but it's nearing an end..

with two friends today on the campus library (two of us in the same major and graduating this week, the other graduating the fall but currently finishing a ~very~ full semester of classes.. idk how she does it!)

I lost a day of writing yesterday bcuz i agreed to work as script supervisor on a student film set, which was incredibly fun and a great experience! But a very long day nonetheless..

I woke up 15 minutes before i had planned to be on campus this morning, and then proceeded to have an incredibly chaotic morning that ended with me arriving on campus nearly 2 hours after my originally planned time 🥲 but was greeted by the beautiful faces of my friends and an iced coffee, which immediately improved my mood (of course)

will probably take monday off from work... i can't really afford to lose any more hours, but im incapable of getting anything done after work on the days that I do, and with everything im trying to complete, i think giving myself another day is the best option..

im just trying to stay strong and hopeful! im almost done!!

🍳 17 Sanity Challenge // Day 6 of 13 🌻

힐링을 쇼핑을 갔어요! 🛍️ 괜찮아, 그냥 마트에세 갔어요 🤭 야채, 과일, 스팸, 돼지고기, 수고기, 그리스어 시금치 만두(?), 등등 살았어요. 할인 있었어서 내 은행 게좌도 행복해 😌 (i went for retail therapy! it's okay, i just went to the supermarket 🤭 i bought vegetables, fruits, spam, pork, beef, Greek spinach dumplings(?), etc. there was a discount so my bank account is happy too 😌)

💌: 한국어 조금 편해, 맞아요? 하지만 연습해야서 다음 시간 부터 찰렌지의 끝까지 오직 중국어 쓰게요. 많이 기대주세요! (Korean is pretty comfortable, isn't it? however, i have to practice, so from next time until the end of the challenge, i will only use Chinese. please look forward to it!)

also im at the campus lib with a classmate and it's been a good study/work time, but there are these ~massive~ windows in the lib and the shades have been pulled down over them all day even tho it's been a gorgeous sunny and the sun doesnt even make it to this side of the building until late afternoon (at which point not having the shades down is overwhelming and roasting)

#we tried to open them ourselves but youre not able to just manually open them and we cant find a switch anywhere #yes i could have just gone to ask someone but i was already sitting down and it takes so long to get settled in....#anyway #pointless complaining!!#cest moi

another day of working success yesterday (and currently one in progress; im taking a mini-break to make this..)

Went to this super cute and cozy coffee shop yesterday which was mostly enjoyable, but there were some.. interesting characters and sensory issues at play that made working a little more difficult, but i am definitely going to visit again sometime - it was maybe just a strange afternoon..

Currently..

plodding along with my research paper, revisiting some text In Context that I've been playing with mostly in pieces for some weeks

struggling to make this powerpoint for my final presentation on my project.. I swear powerpoints used to be so much more fun and easy to construct? i am the strugg

prep-ing for a film shoot i agreed to help with tomorrow.. i was going to maybe help out on saturday as well, but i have far too much to do by next week plus work this wknd :/ (it's a student film thing, unpaid, and will just be good experience for everyone involved, but obvs i still feel bad for not being able to help out more substantially)

juggling dr and pt appointments and trying to find a way to help myself remember to do my pt exercises, cuz.. it's really easy to forget and then suddenly the day over already...

i'm just rambling now.. I'm very ready to be done with school and i can see the end, but there is just !!!!! so much !!! to do ohmygoooood!!!!

One Week Left Of The Semester And My Undergrad College Career 😬😭🥲💪🎇☀️🔥🫧💀🐸🧠👀

I'm going to be taking an extension/incomplete to finish my research paper, but my goal is to not spend more than an extra week on it! I know I'm not going to be leaving with a project I'm very proud of or that reaches The A Standard, but I will turn ~something~ in, I will get at least a C, and I will finally have my degree, so like,,, That's good enough for me

This semester has kicked my ass so fuxking hard, and I know I have a lot of thinking to do about my future after graduation, but damn I am actually, finally (one week from the end!) beginning to feel Excited about graduating and the future that I do have in front of me...

But until then, I still have like 20 pages to write, so... Go Go Gadget Last-Minute-ADHD-Productivity 🕵️🙏🪄💡📜
