DevastationTale Ch1 [Into the unknown]

[**Heads up**] [This is a story for an Oc, not frisk an all but it is a AU for undertale im making(Gona call it DevisationTale), if you have an complaints do tell me, an ill stop or correct things] [I have spoiled my self quiet a bit, with about learning the game an all, but i do intend to play an so on in my future an all so i made sure not to do extreame spoilling] [DO SUPPORT THE GAME *even if you cant yet be sure to, thats what im doing] [This is after a genocide run, an the human has done left the underground abandoning it completly so do tell me what you think at the end of this, an if you do like it I might make a comic (big maybe) but thank you for reading this an enjoy more will come if i get possitve reviews for it]

************************************************************************************************* After the genocide run that went through the whole underground, leaving no one behind except for Dr. Alphys, who disappeared when everything started to go down hill. Some say she was last seen at the waterfall deciding on what to do with this tragic end, loosing all of her friends who meant so dear to her. Instead of ending her story there she quickly decided that trying to bring everyone back from becoming ashes, or attempt to . Whether she could use their cloths, if she could not find their ashes. Knowing fully well she would have to go look for their clothing or even their ashes. The idea deviated her at first but she really wanted her friends back, by any means.

Alphys hoped that she could do this, but first what she had to do, is figure out how to bring back a soul, especially a monster soul. After spending many of her days an nights in the lab, using vigorous parts of monsters from previous side experiments she had done in the lab before hand, to make a temporary monster to use as a test subject, on how to attempt to bring a soul back, not even sure on how it would even go, or if it would even work. Using some old notes she had once found in the old lab only gave her little help, looking at them barley many any sense.

Dr. Alphys was about to give up an forget the whole thing, out of many days of frustration, an not finding out a single way to at least make a temporary artificial soul, that is until she hear a soft whisper behind her, turning quickly she saw something or someone, but she wasn't sure who or what it was, they looked similar to the child in the face, who caused the whole entire mess, but yet they were so much taller an in full on black clothing, to the point were their hands were not even visible, an they did not feel like a human; not in the least, but they seemed much more scarier then any monster, or human could ever be.

Taken aback Alphys was about to run away thinking they were there to harm her or even kill her for what ever reason, when the person whispered again but a bit louder then before " You want them back.... right?". Alphys stops in her tracks to look at them nodding softly "y-ye-yes i-i-i- do...." as she studder out. The person smiled wide, pulling something out, from a small portal on the right side of them, even though Alphys did not see how they made it to begin with she watched in fascination.

At first Alphys was not sure what they were holding, but looking a bit closer, what they held in their hands, she noticed it glowed white. Then it suddenly shifted into few different colors, as they were holding it, shaking her head not sure on how she should react,then she began to stutter the next few words out of her mouth " w-wha-wh-what is-is that, an wh-wh-who are you?", The mysterious person would curl their lips into a small smile, while looking at Alphys, as they slowly spoke out to her in a clear voice," You do not need to know who I am dear, An this in my hand, is a human soul of course".

Alphys was a lost for words at what the person just said because it did not look like any soul she had ever seen. The person gently handed the soul to Dr. Alphys, they would then offered to help her but only a bit. Alphys looked as if she was going to cry with joy; finally she thought to her self, that she wasn't going to do this all by her self, she then nodded an asked them, " What do we need to do?" she said with out stuttering for once.

The person stood there an began to speak loud yet softly to her " I am only going to say this once so do pay attention, because I will not come back to help you fix what ever mistakes that you make. " they said in a calming yet stern like voice. They would then go on to explain that the extractors for the human souls the king used, an had in his basement. "You can use the deceased monsters clothing or ashes to make an artificial soul, an by reversing the effects of the extractor, in instead of taking it out, you put in." They said to her in as much detail as they could.

Alphys interrupt them for a brief moment asking them how she could even make the bodies since everyone was ash, an there was not many other monster part she had lying around. They would think for a moment about what Alphys said, an sighs softly an tells her, that they would look around to see if they could find something or anything they can use. They would then look around the lab, seen a lack of specimens to use, they found their way down to the old lab. After a while of looking around, the old lab an they came across a hidden room where they found preserved parts of monster.

They were not sure why they were preserved , but there was a lot of them, to many to count even, but at least Alphys had some parts to use, an mysterious person was sure, Miss Alphys did not know of this hidden off room from the old part of the lab. While heading back up stairs they hear an odd noise , like few clunks of metal hitting another, when reaching the top they saw Alphys had already brought one of the extractors from the Kings basement to the lab, this made the person think they took longer then they originally had though they did, sigh softly they watch Miss Alphys fiddle with the extractor.

Alphys would begin to change the extractor in order to put the soul she was given into the makeshift body. Now she placed the soul into the now changed extractor entrance where the soul used to come out of, instead of it coming out this time the soul quickly gets pulled in through the machine. After a few moments Alphys was not sure if it worked she grew worried not sure on what to do next if this failed, as the person sat back an watched to see what would happen next.

Then as Alphys was about to see what she did wrong, they both would hear a blood curdling scream come from the the coffin shaped extractor, Alphys quickly opened the coffin as the creature sat up immediately, looking around in bewilderment an confusion, not even sure on whats going on or how. Even now still in a state of confusion, their eyes would twitch in a frantic manner, it would squeal again shoving its left claw deep into their left eye socking ripping it out completely, the other person present would laugh lightly, at the turn of events that just occurred.

Alphys looks extremely worried at what the creature just did to themselves, taking their hand softly away from their face, with the ripped out eye ball still in their clutched claw, she would then begin to pat their back making small hushing noises, trying to calming them down. When they did calm down, She would then take the eyeball from their claw, smiling at them as she does so. Once she has the eye in her hands, the creature looks at her with blood dripping down from their face as it slowly begins to stop bleeding, an a new eye begins to grow in its place.

An astonished look comes over Alphys' face, the brown eye they had ripped out still sitting in her hands, an the other that was not touched; an still in their head did not change, but the eye that had grown back in its place was a bright green, an not dull like the last one. Sighing in relief, yet in some what disbelief, Alphys was glad they were okay, an her experiment actually worked. The person from before, would walk up to her after everything was over, telling Alphys there was monster parts that were preserved in the old lab that she could use, an also explained where she could go to find them, since the spot seem secret an hard to find to begin with.

The person would then say goodbye to Alphys, once they were sure, she could handle everything without them having to re-explaining everything. When Alphys said she was good an understood what to do from there, they would a create portal; with their hand like they previously did when retrieving the soul before hand, walking though as they disappear in a instance. The creature would then tilt their head watching the other person leave through the portal, watching ever so carefully with a blank stare, not sure on what to do.

Once the person left, they would try to get up, only to fall from the coffin instead, this made Alphys worry deeply because she was not sure how high or low their HP was, that is when she noticed that their Hp was 0 expecting them to turn to dust, but after a while of watching them they never did. Curious she made sure to watch them a bit longer, to make sure they were okay, an that it would not change in a instance, but their HP never change, it just stayed 0.

The creature would sit up an stare at Alphys titling their head at her not sure how to speak, even though they tried to make words with their mouth, but nothing came out. Alphys would made a small sad smile at them, a small part of her wished it would have failed so she could learn from her mistakes, but now she had a monster who was new to this empty world, a place they did not belong in to begin with. Letting out a deep sigh, Alphys though this might be a good thing in one way or another, she then decided she would teach them what she could for now, then she would work on bring everyone else back, at least after she helped them learn how to talk anyway. 'Oh wait' she thought, they would need a name.

After a while of thinking an debating she smiled, when it finally came to her. Then she would touch their shoulder softly, an the creature would look up at her in a bit of confusion, Alphys would then say in a soft gentle voice " You name is Deavon okay?" she smiled at them thinking would be a perfect name for them. The creature would then mimic her smile as they attempt to mouth out the name they were just given with joy.
