Summary: Talented, intelligent, successful, and beautiful; Hermione seems to have it all. Notorious amongst her friends for her incredibly high standards, she finds herself in the middle of a sexual drought, with a string of past lovers leaving her wanting. I am going to start putting my posting schedule up here.   I want to put a caveat on these, that all my schedules are tentative. I might not get something to my beta on time, or something might get done earlier and so these are rough estimates of my plan for the month. If it gets to a point where posting them becomes more a hinderance than a help, I will stop doing so.

Happy New Years!

I know for the last quarter I was a very absent, due to personal life. Fortunately, for the time being that situation has been handled, and now I can focus on getting back to my writing. It will be slow going, as I haven’t been writing everyday for quite sometime now, but I am working on getting back into the habit of doing so. 

It is my hope to have the new chapter of The Minister’s Bodyguard up by the 22nd of January. 

At this time, Particular is on a hiatus, as it is difficult for me to juggle two massive projects like TMB and the Prisms series at this moment.

Also, I actually posted two stories in December. They were both for gift exchanges, which I had previously committed to, and they were sort of a test into how ready I was to get back into writing regularly.  

For the lovely SeverusSnep I wrote ‘Joy in the Ordinary’, which is a very short, cute domestic fluff piece that includes everyone’s favorite half-kneazle. 

For Fleur/Turpinsimp I wrote ‘Gone in the Morning’ which is my first ever exes to lovers, and technically my first ever ‘there was only one bed’.

Thank you everyone for the well-wishes, concern and support that I’ve received through this incredibly difficult transition in my life.

Author Update

I am alive.  I do hope that everyone is enjoying whichever holiday you participate in.  I have posted two new fics for gift exchange fests. I will be sharing links for them tomorrow. I am not back to writing on a regular basis just yet, but I am finally set into a space at my mother’s house where I can start getting to organized to write.

Author Update.

I just got chapter 14 posted, finally, after a month. 

my dear readers, thank you for your patience with this chapter and me missing two posting days. 

Any of you who know me on Discord or other places where I am social and have shared what is going on will know that after I returned from vacation, I encountered a mountain of setbacks and hardships. One of which is that at the end of this month on 10/31/22, I am losing my home because it is being sold out from under me with no warning. Because of this, my writing schedule is currently in the trash.

Between packing my own things, working a full time job, trying to find a new home, worrying about my roommates and where they are going to go, and everything else going on, I don't know when I am going to get the next chapter out.

But I will write it.

It might be a few months, until I am stable on my feet again with a quiet creative place to work.

It could be less time if I take myself to a coffee shop, put on my headphones, and just bang it out on a day I am taking for myself.

I don't know at this point, my entire life is up in the air.

But this story is not abandoned, none of my stories are abandoned, and I will be coming back to them as soon as I have a safe stable roof over my head.

I just ask that you have patience with me, and understanding.

You are making me compliment MYSELF? *panic intensifies* I have grown a lot in my writing over the past two years, have discovered new ways of doing things and have finished more fics than I think have in combined years before.

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc. Oof, this is harder than the first one. Honestly, I am thinking of my fics and I have a hard time stepping back and finding the common themes. Each one is its own world, and so its jarring to try to string them together. I think the only one parallel that sticks out is that Consent is my Kink(tm), and typically there is a lot of focus on being in the right mind to Consent.
