This game is made by @mavenmob and this project is…unique to say the least… Check http://mavenmob.com/self 
i won’t spoil anything here.
I’m glad i could have been associated in a tiny way with this project by having an ANSI next to more than excellent take on the title (dope pieces made by the game creator himself and some by other artists).

Behind the scene:
I rarely talk about how i work. I won’t be a digital visual artist if i haven’t started coding various custom tools like this one. I value the process as much as the result if not more… This simple tool here can create custom pixel/mosaic rendering of pictures. Here the data bank are generated text characters x 4 combo colors and they are rendered at a fixed size but i could use it to render any picture based on any subset of pictures… Originally started it to generate dices mosaics and ended up extended it (never made irl that dices mosaic btw) I made the “David CGA” picture with this tool for example.
