Some similarity between 234 of Germa and Baroque Works
I don't know if this means anything honestly, but since there's some rather visible similarities (as well as reversals) between the 2,3,4 members...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Colour Scheme:
2: Bon Kurei and Niji's clothes' main scheme is a combination of blue and light blue.
3: Sanji and Mr. 3 are "blue and stripes".
4: Mr. 4 and Yonji are green and orange.
Abilities:
2: Both Bon and Niji fights with mainly kicks. They both also can do disguises from memory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3: Galdino and Sanji being the tactical ones of the group. It's also a reversal in that Galdino is such a wimp, and Sanji isn't.
4: Both fights with strength-based attacks. And if you want to be technical about it, both Mr. 4's baseball bat swing and Yonji's Winch Danton involves a circular/curved motion. The difference being Mr. 4 is rather slow and dull, and Yonji isn't.
There's also some hyperspecific interesting connection in that in all this time, Bon seems to have never managed to touch Sanji, and so he wouldn't be able to do a Sanji disguise. On the reverse, get Niji to remove his headphones and goggles and put wig and a fake beard on him, and you get a fake Sanji. Aside from the height difference (and/or any other body build difference), it'd be almost a perfect copy.
This also might just be coincidence, but it was interesting that Sanji denied being "Mr. Prince" to Bon. He could have said "Yes, that's me, but my real name is...". However he denied it outright. It's like that time when he rejected being a "prince of Germa" because that's against his ideals.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's the 0 and 1 that I don't see overly visible parallels of. At least, not as visible as 234.
Mr 1, Daz Bonez, is stoic and serious, which is arguably a bit similar to Ichiji. And in the Baroque Works cover story, it revealed that Mr 1 dreams of being a superhero. Arguably, his fruit making him tough as steel is somewhat similar to the exoskeleton. Other than that, nothing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm drawing a blank on 0 right now as well, because 0 is Crocodile himself.
Again, I don't know if this means anything at all.
But I have been watching Yuderon's theories on Youtube, and he likes to use "parallel chapters" to predict things. It did actually come true once, where Dorry and Broggy returned in chapter 1106, and it parallels how their first appearance was in 116. Some of his other guesses also somewhat came true in an "eh, close enough" sense.
In chapter 156, we first meet Bon. He isn't just a one-time bit character, so maybe in 1156 he will also return. But if the "eh, close enough" parallel is a thing, maybe Germa might actually return for real and not just one of those background glimpses?
I'm just biased, though. I'm not fully serious about this.

Do you think Vinsmoke Judge himself was a kind person or maybe his parents or grandparents who were the Rulers of the North blue and they were defeated or deceived because of their kindness . And that's why he tried to make his kids without positive emotions because he believes the previous Germa lost due to emotions? Or maybe they lost because they were put in compromising situation that the final decision required kindness but loss? Then he had been grumpy since childhood or smth?
I mean, it's not impossible that Judge used to be a decent guy, but then something really bad happened and it changed him. The samurai I often said I parallel Judge to, that was basically how he is in a lot of movies and fiction (starts out a decent guy, then turned horrible because bad stuff keeps happening). Sensei doing the same thing with Judge is not unlikely.
I have been asking various questions about how he ended up being at MADS (and why he just looks like a bum when he first joined), and then when and how he took the throne. He didn't look princely at all until he was a bit older.
I mean, if Judge was the crown prince the whole time, why was he at MADS? Vegapunk aside, the whole place looks shady as hell, and everyone else in there looks like bums too.
If he really did have some kind of personality change tha was caused by something bad happening, the bad thing must have either already happened before he joined MADS, or while he was there. Maybe bad things happening was what made him join MADS in the first place. We know he already wanted to make the heartless soldiers even while in MADS, because he told Queen (or mentioned it in general in MADS and Queen heard). We just don't know how Germa was operating while he was there.
Like, did he go home once in a while? Maybe he heard bad news from home through a call/letter? When and where did he even meet Sora? Was she really one of the MADS scientists like the crack theories say?
I had been hoping Vegapunk would say something, but he hasn't said anything yet, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. I had this feeling that Vegapunk is not actually dead, so if he recovers maybe he'll say something. If not, then maybe Germa themselves would show up to explain the things.

the doffy parallels are to the time doffy was a kid ( also there are parallels between imu and the gorosei to enel and his priests ( its theorized that urogue was a priest of enel who left him ( and the gateway to the trials included 5 fingers which is why people think there were 5 priests ( mr morj even made a vids where he brought this up )
Thanks. Is that in the Aokiji video you tagged me in? I'll take a look.

@megashadowdragon: Thank you for your other reply. I already mentioned Kamen Rider Black in this theory and the French stuff here, even though I didn't mention everything that you said (personal preference and/or my theory doesn't involve that part).
There's also other benign Kamen Rider references (including how the Raid Suit activation being very similar to Kamen Rider henshin pose) and I think those are meant to be breadcrumb trails, making you pay attention to Kamen Rider as a whole.
I have mentioned I needed to update some of my older theories because I changed my mind about some things, and have added more arguments to it. I just don't have the time yet.

I remember seeing a theory relating to Ju Peter. In Japanese (シェパード・十・ピーター聖) his name features what looks like a cross. Historically Saint Peter was crucified in Rome by Emperor Nero (known for his cruelty and sadism) on an upside down cross, as blame for starting a fire in Rome. It could tie into the belief that Ju Peter will betray (Nero)na Imu in some way in the story.
If there is going to be a traitor Gorosei, it's definitely Ju Peter. Based on the positioning of the Doflamingo / Imu panels, Ju Peter occupies the same position as Corazon would, if he were to have been in the picture (based on the positions of the swords in both panels). Additionally, Ju Peter is the only Gorosei that have questioned the World Government at any point. During Wano he questioned why the WG felt the need to hide the real name of the Gum-Gum Fruit. He was also the one who questioned Imu as to why they selected Lulusia. Finally the most important part that I believe to be the key to the puzzle lies in real life Christian theology. Saint Shepherd Ju Peter is named after Saint Peter. Assuming that Ivankov was right when speculating about Imu's identity, they would be Saint Nerona Imu. This namessake most likely is a reference to the real life Emperor Nero. And it just so happened that it's said that Emperor Nero killed Saint Peter by method of cruxification. The precedent for cruxification as a method of punishing Celestial Dragons has already been set with Figarland Garling killing Mjosgard in this way.
Plus ju Peter is named after the planet Jupiter named after the Roman god Jupiter the Roman equivalent to Zeus who is poseidon and hades/plutos brother both Poseidon and pluton are connected to imus enemies
That is true. There is strong references to Christian tradition and history in Juu Peter's name.
"Nerona" in reference to Nero's name specifically is connected to a painting named "Pochodnie Nerona", or "Nero's torches", a painting depicting Christian martyrdom.
十 is the "Ju", the number 10. It is indeed what the Japanese still use to say to refer to the Christian cross (十字 Juuji, lit. "the number 10 character"). Shepherd as well, is reminiscent of John 21:16 in the Bible, where Jesus addresses Peter. In the Japanese Bible, Jesus commanded Peter to "飼い" the sheep, which can be translated as "shepherd" the sheep.
I thought about it, but haven't made a full theory about it due to there still being too many vague elements about the Gorousei (and also I don't remember those Doflamingo panels, do you remember what chapter?)

Since there's barely any official merch of the Vinsmoke bros (and what little that there is are so hard to get), I make them myself 😈
I'm so glad there's local print services that will do acrylics, even if it might not be as good as the high quality services like Vograce. Those manufacturers are overseas, so I think the delivery cost would've exceeded the item price (especially if I just want one, because I don't have a shop or anything).
Unless... Are anyone else interested in these? Maybe I should try making them for sale 🤔

As seen by how the other quadruplet bros also make heart eyes at Nami, I think she'll always be his queen no matter what happens.
Original inspiration
I really like the minimalist colouring style the original artist used.

Jupiter's one is a bit unclear, being a sandworm and all, but if you line up the Gorousei's animal resemblance like this on an Asian zodiac chart, it maps into a five pointed star (the symbol of the 5 elements corelation).
If this is correct, the "sandworm" being a "dragon" is kind of interesting. "Wyrm" (a kind of dragon) and "worm" are indeed both spelled like this ワーム in Japanese. Maybe that's why sensei chose to portray Jupiter as a sandworm and not a nodzuchi (a youkai of nature) to fit the Asian beast/youkai theme that the other gorousei has. It's to make a pun between worm and wyrm.
I have been asking many times why sensei named Jupiter a sandworm, because basically Nodzuchi does the exact same thing and looks the same for the most part. It's a big snake/worm-like thing with a huge mouth and sucks in everything in its path (something that Jupiter did in chapter 1112).
Anyway, if Jupiter is somehow connected to a wyrm/dragon, does this mean that Jupiter is something truly special among the Gorousei, though? I remember someone connecting it to the Jormungandr.

Whole Cake chaos from the "non awful Germa AU"
Honestly, the idea behind it is precisely to just turn WCI into a chaotic James Bond/Ocean's 11/Mission Impossible spy + heist + assassination nonsense. I thought of making an actual story, but given that I still couldn't finish writing the on off AU, and drawing comics takes too long... Dunno if I can manage, honestly. For now you get to see doodles and my long rambly explanation in the text box.
The quick of it is that Germa is in cahoots with Bege from the start for the Big Mum assassination plot, and Yonji's the one who has to pretend to get married (they totally intend to screw up the wedding from the start). But then they found Sanji in Zou, and since the Straw Hats need the Poneglyph, they take on the heist side quest too. (Bege is not happy but what can he do)
Germa scientist Yonji forever.
Same WCI Straw Hat team as in canon. It's just funny instead of angst.
(Germa will also return in Onigashima later because of Queen being a plagiarist LMAO)

Me and a few of my art mutuals found what seems to appears to be a ‘draw this in your style’ between Japanese artists.
So for a little bit of fun, we all decided have a little go ourselves and make an art train around it. We all used the same Ichiji drawing done by this artist and https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/2911160 as the ref and is the one used by the other Japanese artists in the ‘draw it in your style’.
Here is my drawing/sketch take on it and it was so much fun to do and great practice. :3c

A bit of expansion on my comments about Sanji's black fire legs in the theory theory I mentioned.
When I said the Lunarians resemble Garuda, this is what I meant:
Tumblr media
The Japanese Garuda specifically has a fire halo on its back, in the exact same location where King has his fire.
I've mentioned many times that the mythology parallels hints that Germa has strong connection to the Void Century, and perhaps that somehow includes Lunarians and whatever other tribes used to live on the Red Line. That's just a very wild leap of conjecture, though.
I also said that even though it's my personal favourite, it's very likely that Sanji might not like the name "Garuda" for his "final form" because it's Judge's name. That's why my alternative guess for it might be "Archangel" instead. Or, if not, just some form of "angel"-related term in general.
We already have "seraphim" as name for the Lunarian clones, and those are angels related to fire. The other angel that's kind of related to fire is the specific one angel who is said to have a flaming sword, and from what I read religious traditions often claim that it's an archangel.
In the Bible there were also various instances of angels appearing in fire (Moses and the burning bush), or manifesting fire (when an angel appeared to Samson's parents). Even if Sanji actually has nothing to do with Lunarians, the archangel (or other angels in general) still has some connection to fire.
There has been Biblical references in the story, like the Adam Tree wood and the Eve Tree that redirects sunlight into the sea, and Noah's ark. Even the Pacifistas' code, PX, might be an allusion to the "Chi Rho", the first two Greek letters that spell the word "Christos" (Christ). Chi and Rho ΧΡ resembles the alphabet letters X and P. So, I don't know, sensei seems to have enough knowledge about various Christian tradition to make these references.
Therefore "angel" is not an impossible option.

Hey hey!!
So, previously I wrote up this theory about how there might be "actual dragon people" on the Red Line before the WG took over. My entire premise of the theory was how this 竜 and this 龍 refers to different types of dragons.
The One Piece official website actually have an article about 竜 and 龍:
Tumblr media
[Website link]
The TL;DR is that it's exactly as I said: 竜 is Western dragons, 龍 is Eastern dragons.
The caveat here is that in their explanation, 竜 is given the reading of "doragon", and the examples provided are the Punk Hazard dragons and Ryuuma's dragon from Monsters. Not the One Piece timeline version.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(shown in the above panel, the Punk Hazard dragon is labelled as 竜 with the reading ドラゴン doragon)
My theory partly stems from the fact that I am highly suspicious about the instances where 竜 is given the reading "ryuu", such as Tenryuubito/Celestial Dragons and Ryuuma's "flying dragon" that he defeated in Wano.
This article doesn't really prove anything yet, really. It just kind of supports my point about there being a difference between the two "dragon" kanji, and there might be really something worth looking into about the Tenryuubito/Celestial Dragons' name.
I'm also starting to suspect Ryuuma has something to do with them specifically. Another analysis that I wrote details how weird it is that the Tenryuubito crest on Hancock is called a "hoof" and not a claw. This seems like an allusion to a Chinese mythological being called "Long Ma", dragon horse. In Japanese, "Long Ma" is read as Ryuuma.

Er, so, Ichiji's voice actor sings this song, and at about the 1:43 mark, there's a musical interlude that sounds kind of like bagpipes to me.
So, bagpipes!

The kuyou and the moon
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had this theory that the Moon will be very significant, and the final battle will involve the power of the sun and moon working together to defeat WG or whoever the final enemy is.
Gonna bring back this symbol. This symbol is the Navagraha, or called kuyou 九曜 in Japan. The original Hindu version says that the big one in the middle is the sun, with the 8 circles representing the moon and the planets. In Japan, they adopted the symbol and gave it various new meanings.
One clan in particular, the Mochidzuki 望月, supposedly used the kuyou symbol while believing that the big one in the middle is the full moon. They were a clan who appears to have strong partiality to the moon. Various articles online say they either have faith in a moon god, or other moon-related traditions.
Mochidzuki is in fact a classic alternate name for "full moon" 満月. This is reminiscent of the Wano ruling clans, who all have the "moon" 月 kanji in their names. Especially the shogun clan, whose name is Koudzuki 光月, "bright moon". When is the moon the most bright if not on full moon?
I'm curious if this might apply to One Piece as well, where some tribes use the symbol to mean "moon", while some others use it to mean "sun". Seen in the above symbol the Arabasta version looks very much like a sun. We don't know what specifically is the faith in the Sorbet kingdom church, but because it has connection to Kuma, maybe it's something related to the sun as well.
Skypiean ancestors are from the moon, so that symbol they use might mean the moon. If true it would give a new significance to how the centre circle has "god" 神 written on it. Lastly the Koudzuki symbol. As explained above, Wano and the shogun clan are related to the moon, so it would be interesting if their symbol also means the moon.
If the Arabasta one also means the sun, it's going to have significant impact to the D lore. In the moon theory link on top, I pointed out that Arabasta has a subtle connection to the Princess Kaguya story that most people might not notice. For those who don't know, Kaguya is a Japanese folklore that is strongly tied to the moon. This could be an argument towards my theory about sun and moon working together.
