Today is one year since you got your Angel wings… I miss you every day, you were like a mama to me….you understood me in ways no one else could…we were best friends, mom and son, brother and sister and nephew and aunty all in one, the world got darker that day….and I know you’re still watching over me, but I still miss you like hell. I love you Aunt Cathy, so so much.

These boys own my heart….

They came at the most unexpected time…. I was super depressed and feeling like I had hit a second rock bottom…out of nowhere, they came up on my YouTube recommendation page, I had never heard of them before because I had mostly stuck to classic rock and things from the 1980s….but after seeing their goofy personalities and watching some of the vids people made of them, I was just so in love… the more I learned about them, the more I love them… the 9th of January is one year since my favorite auntie passed away, and this feels like she gave me this to keep me afloat. How you may ask? Their videos of them being goofy and their music (a lot of their songs have some amazing messages) I can always feel a little happier and a little less lost. These boys truly have saved my life and I will probably be posting more of them, as a warning now.

Thank goodness for V, Suga, RM, Jin, Jhope, Jimin, and Jungkook being here…thank goodness for BTS…..

People with disorders like Autism, ADHD, Learning and Intellectual Disorders, any Personality Disorder, and/or Schizophrenia: do you have an accent, odd way of speech, or “disordered” speech (including writing style)?

What is it like, have you tried to change it, how did you realize, have you received comments(good or bad), and how do you feel about it?

#i have autism and adhd and learning disabilities and have been trying to grow my writing buy lessening the run on stuff #and using more descriptive words and dialog #and making larger word minimums like no less than a thousand if possible #but it’s so fricking hard #my brain thinks it is wrong and I continually have to edit many times #I’m trying to get better as an adult with my language skills because I’m a high reading level but a tiny writing one

PSA: Google and Autism Speaks are continuing their collaborative effort to create a genomic database on autism.

Yes, you read that right.

On the eve of Autism Acceptance Month, Google, the most widely used search engine, is teaming up with Autism Speaks to collect and send data to researchers in order to essentially “eliminate” autism. I don’t think I can understate how eugenicist this is. It is genocide by definition.

It is imperative that we speak up about this. Every autistic person (including myself) know that Autism Speaks is a hate group in all but name.

There’s not much to say about this except it is VERY wrong.

Nothing about us without us. Listen to autistic people.
