Does anyone else get so disassociated they can't move? Like I get weird moments where I'm stuck. I remember this happening when I was a kid, too. Idk why it happens. Sometimes it's not from disassociation and it's because I accidentally convinced myself I can't move. Does this happen to anyone else?

I honestly hate how people because of it romantise or say 'it's easy tho' disorders. Like... no? - Nastya

oh sure when actors playing a character with DID or otherwise acting as multiple people in one body switch between alters on screen they're "such a talented actor" and you "get chills" but when I, actual diagnosed DID system, switch in front of you, it's "scary and unnerving" and you "no longer know how to talk to me".

hey!! systems with very small alter counts, you are loved. one of my friends has only two alters, and she's mentioned to me that she doesn't see enough posts talking about small systems.

even though your alter count isn't large , it doesn't mean your DID is "more easy to manage" or "easier to explain" as i've seen some people say.

it doesn't mean your other alter/alters "are just other aspects of your personality".

it doesn't mean you're less valued, loved, respected than other systems.

it doesn't mean you're faking.
