These are Safe Shorts. They were made by Sandra Seilz after someone attempted to rape her. If the fabric is torn, an alarm will be sounded.

This is the Rape-aXe, invented by a South African doctor by the name of  Sonnet Ehlers. After interviewing a rape victim who wished she had teeth down there, she made this. If someone’s penis is inserted and pulled back out, the teeth will sink in, and can only be removed by a doctor.

The Killer Tampon (couldn’t find a site for it), made by retired anaesthetist Jaap Haumann. When penetration takes place, the sharp end will slice the offending appendage.

The Anti-Rape Belt (also couldn’t find a site), made by a group of Swedish teenagers led by Nadja Björk. It requires two hands to undo.

Anti-Rape Underwear/Bra (once again), as made by a group of Indian students. Will deliver an electric shock when met with unwanted advances, as well as sounding an alarm.

Undercover Colours. Made by 4 male undergraduates at North Carolina U, they change colours when in contact with chemicals or drugs that cause unconsciousness. Used in case you’re wary that your drink has been roofied.

These are just tools to help, but in addition to being mindful of your situations and staying safe, they can help when the worst happens.

Well... I got into Tangled the Series

And now I have an OC.

Ms. Clementine Sheldrake is the horse trainer and upkeep for Corona's castle. Now you're probably thinking.

"But Art Nerd, why don't the guards and maids just do that?"

Because they're probably busy, fucknut.

Clementine is a high class horsewoman, teaching the newer guards to ride and keep their balance atop a horse, use leg steering (where you press your legs against a horse's side to make them turn which leaves your hands free for USEFUL THINGS), vaulting if they need to learn it, how to saddle a horse, because if you do it wrong, the horse will feel it and buck you off, among other things.

If a horse is being a brat, maybe they're bucking everyone off because being ridden feels like being "controlled", she will very quickly give them something to compare that to. Getting back on even if thrown off and wearing the horse out until they visually beg to go back to work without trouble. She doesn't hurt them in any way, she just makes them work, runs them in circles, and generally tires them out.

She also rides the horses that are not ridden that day in order to keep them exercised and will keep tabs on their visual health in case she needs to call in a vet.

New year's eve was a fun night

Lmao I made hot cocoa that looks professional and continues to look good for many minutes after.

Wanna make your own? Bitch, I gotchu.

Use three spoons of Stephen's Gourmet Milk Chocolate flavored hot cocoa, or just use your favorite.

Drop in three or four large marshmallows (depends on mug size) and put whipped cream in the spaces between them so the top doesn't sink, then make your swirly on top.

Then place one Sweet Stripes Peppermint Stick, broken in half, gently on top of the whipped cream. If you wanna make it look aesthetically pleasing, have one tilt up more than the other, maybe leaning on the other.

Then top with crushed up M&Ms. You can crush them with either a spoon or a rolling pin.

Keep in mind, this is way hella sugar-stuffed, so make sure to ask the people you're serving if they have diabetes and make sure they're aware that this thing is sweeter than a gummy bear's asshole.

For anyone who wants a free pose-able human reference for drawing

The other day I came across this awesome program by accident (I don’t even remember what I was actually searching for, but on the several times I’ve looked for a program like this I’ve had no luck). It’s cool enough that I wanted to share it.

It’s called DesignDoll (website here) and it’s a program that lets you shape and pose a human figure pretty much however you want.

There’s a trial version with no expiration date that can be downloaded for free, as well as the “pro license” version priced at $79. I’ve only had the free version for two days so far, so I’m not an expert and I haven’t figured out all of the features yet, but I’ve got the basics down. The website’s tutorials are actually pretty helpful for the basics, as well. 

Here’s the page for download, which has a list of the features available in both versions.

There are three features the free version doesn’t have:

Can’t save OBJ files for export

Can’t download models and poses from Doll Atelier (a sharing site for users; note that the site is in Japanese, though)

It can’t load saved files

The third one means that if you make a pose, save it, and close the program, you can’t load that pose/modified model later. You have to start with the default model. I found that out when I tried to load a file from the day before (this is why reading is important…). Whether saving your modifications (and downloading models and poses) is worth $80 is up to you. 

But, the default model is pretty nice and honestly if all you’re looking for is a basic pose reference it should work fairly well as it is. Here’s what it looks like:

There’s a pose tag that lets you drag each joint into place and rotate body parts. The torso and waist can be twisted separately, and it seems like everything pretty much follows the range of movement it would have on an actual human.

Even the entire shoulder area is actually movable along with the joint! See, like how the scapular area of the back raises with the arm:

The morphing tag is one of the coolest features, in my opinion. It lets you pick and choose from a library of pre-set forms for the head, chest, arms, legs, etc. It has some more realistic body shapes in addition to more anime-like ones. Don’t like the options there? Mix a few to get what you want! Each option has a slider that lets you blend as much or as little as you want into the design. 

So you, too, can create beautiful things like kawaii Muscle-chan!!

The scale tag lets you mess with the proportions and connection points of different joints. This feature combined with the morphing feature not only allows more body shape variations, but it also means that you can do things like make a more digitigrade model if you want. (The feet only have an ankle joint, but for regular human poses that’s all that you really need, so whatever.)

Or you can make a weird chubby alien-like thing with giant hands and balloon tiddies if that’s more your thing.

The ability to pose hands to the extent it allows is far more than I could have hoped for from a free program. Seriously, you can change the position of each finger joint individually, as well as how spread out the fingers are from each other. Each crease on the diagram below is a point of movement, and the circles are for spread between fingers. 

And to make it a bit more convenient, there’s a library of pre-set hand poses you can pick from as well, and then change the pose from that if you like. 

In both versions, you can also import OBJ files from other places for the model to hold, like if you wanted to have them hold a sword or something.

Basically, this program is awesome and free and you should totally check it out if you want a good program for creating pose references.

It's actually so much more than just Adrien and Meliodas. Hawk is voiced by Cristina Vee aka Marinette/Ladybug. Ban shares the same VA that plays Nino, Max, and some kwamis. King shares a VA with Plagg. Guila shares a VA with Alya. Elizabeth's voice actress is supposed to voice a character that is being revealed in season 2 of Miraculous Ladybug. Those are all the ones I know of at least.

Yes, but Meliodas is the only one I've noticed to sound almost exactly like Adrien. Voice actors will often chamge the pitch of their voices so the characters don't all sound the same. I'm watching TSDS rn so ill try to listen for other similarities, but Meliodas is the only one that stood out as being a candidate for quote swapping.

I just saw one, episode 10, where he says a few things during/before a fight that I could definitely see in a Cat Noir edit with a quick pace and a kickass set of fighting scenes.

But edits are not my forte. Neither is cosplay. So I just come up with ideas for others to use, like that one about the butterfly balloon and the Ladybug hip satchel.
