As someone who is a survivor of many abuses Astarion made me feel cathartic and seen. He became one of my ultimate comfort characters because I see myself through him. He made me realized what I've felt was valid and I shouldn't blame myself for going through a lot of trauma because it's wasn't my fault. He made me really inspired on how to handle my own trauma.

Stephen Rooney and Neil Newbon did an incredible job for making this character feel alive and relatable to anyone who experienced the same.

I said I’d post Shiranui’s theme, so here it is~

This is one of the best parts of one of the best songs in the best musical, so all you unfortunate souls out there who haven’t heard it yet better listen up! I’m gonna pull the newest part of this fandom into HakuMyu hell if it’s the last thing I do on this blog. After all, we’ll all need something to stave off the game-completion blues sooner or later, right?

(Also, for the uninitiated—yes, that gif does in fact take place during the first part of this clip. It follows Harada and Shiranui’s first face-off, which they have at Ikedaya instead of Hamaguri Gate.)

If I owned anything to do with Hakuōki or HakuMyu, there’d be a lot more Shiranui in ’em both, just saying. But alas, I’m just a lowly shitposter trying to raise awareness for one of the best fandom-related phenomena in existence.
