My gender is the one that allows me to drink water

(I went to the bathrooms in my school to drink water and the sinks didn't work in the bathroom of my assigned gender, so I went to the other one and I could drink water there)

I almost cried when I read it, I'd have to read it again to remember my favourite parts of the chapter but trust me, there were some ✨ moments ✨ in which I screamed internally in a good way (but come on, I won't get tired of saying how much I love that Jan has Nace on his contacts with a turtle emoji 🥹)

why, thank you. we don't know if aliens exist at all, so giving them genders in the same way humans have is a little pointless in my point of view. who knows, maybe this post happens to arrive somewhere outside humanity, so it'd be nice that any aliens (and maybe any creature who happens to exist but humans don't believe in) told us about the way they live their gender

I'm not sure if aliens care much about human gender, and maybe "boyfriend" was the closest translation from their language to English. And if they care about human gender, then it'd be either pretending to be a boy or pretending to be the alien's girlfriend. Anyway, that question of yours could bring an interesting discussion about aliens, alien gender and human gender

Woops- Was it supposed to be only a paragraph? Sorry, I ended up making quite a thing and I already have some ideas on how it'd continue. Hope you don't mind though. Thanks for the (probably unintentional) inspo and sorry again!

(by the way, Ce is just a provisional name. If I do extend this, I'll give them a proper name, which may or may not have something to do with this provisional name)

Without their grandfather around, the workshop in their cottage would be isolated for a long time, if not forever. Ce explored the now abandoned studio, looking for something they could take to remind themselves of their relative. Wandering through the multiple unfinished paintings they found something nobody would expect: a rectangular piece of wood with some carvings in it. Ce would've never expected their granddad to be keen on wood carving as well. The piece was small enough to be picked with one hand, and so they did, taking the piece outside to inspect the carved wood more clearly in sunlight.

When Ce left the workshop there was no trace of sunlight although it wasn't later than 3 P.M in May; the sun should have been shining bright. However, their eyes were already used to the dark, so they didn't mind. They kept walking outside the workshop, looking for their cousin's car and, after two minutes, right next to the car, the carvings on the piece started shining in an orange light. They heard a voice in the back of their brain ordering them to turn around, but before they could do it, they heard something falling dead where something was supposed to be. Despite trying to make clear who or what had dropped thanks to the sudden lights, they couldn't see anything else than a greyish shadow and the lights disappeared as suddenly as they came.

Ce waited for their eyes to get accustomed to the darkness again, but now they could perceive something was different in the sky. They looked down at their left hand, the one still holding the wood piece. They could swear something was happening, but they knew they'd stutter more than once if they were asked what exactly.

before I go to sleep, here the evolution of my boop-o-meter through the day!

I joined at like 12 PM although the first screenshot was from 2 or 3 PM

I broke it without realising it, and there were some blogs which I couldn't boop (most of my followers, sadly)

Nevertheless, this was a fantastic excuse to be more active in Tumblr (I've posted at least 10 things today) and to show love to the people that had the boops on.

I hope this day will be the start of being a little more active here, posting a little thing here, reblogging a little video of the people I enjoy there, until I can say this truly feels like *my* space
