I feel like PJE could’ve brought the baby plot back around in today ep if she would just have Haein look at Hyunwoo ceiling when she was exploring his room and see that lone star instead of using the mp3player (like how did it even get there) and then have that as a setup and have them address the whole baby thing by the last ep but she didn’t do that either 😭😭 such a missed opportunity.

that's what i thought she'd do but our theories were all better than what we got :(

i'm happy that haein got the notebook back at least but i felt like this whole episode was deadass like, just so much pain and angst and Drama for no reason that made no Sense either. how a singular ES is capable of manipulating so much is beyond me maybe we'll find out tomorrow he's a licheral demon or some shit like idek these last few eps have been whack (minus baekhong bc they can't do any wrong i love my babies <3 )

I don’t remember much about MLFTS and i didn’t watch CLOY but was their plot this packed and dramatic like how QOT is? Is this just PJE style?

PJE loves her drama like i always expect some makjang silliness bc that's her style yes.

but, with MTLFTS - do min joon was a licheral alien and there was this whole murder side plot that actually made Sense in the context of the drama but the main leads had ample screentime so it didn't feel awkward. same with CLOY; shit ton of drama BUT made sense bc of the whole NK/SK issue but again, lots of screentime/romance for the main leads.

i just feel like PJE......had a lot of PLOTS she wanted to do with QOT but by doing that she sacrificed baekhong plot which should've been the main plot not the mother/son oedipus nonsense of eunseong or side character stuff. like, if baekhong dealt with their things and then we got this stuff i'd be fine but we haven't done anything in that aspect and they've basically suffered for like 16 straight episodes.

also MLFTS and CLOY had 20+ episodes and QOT doesn't have that which once again, makes things annoying bc how is this all gonna be handled in less than 2 hours tomorrow lmaoooo it won't like i'm just hoping i get my baekhong fluff at the end and i can at least say it ended well.

i honestly truly wish that we cut 90% of the family drama in qot. like this was marked as a dark comedy business rom com yet with each episode we’re getting less and less baekhong content!?!? like tbh we didn’t see much progress between them with their rekindling feelings for each other. and eunseung and his mother are so fucking annoying i want to skip all of their scenes like im DONE with chaebeol drama im sick of it!!! i don’t care !

me every time eunseong or a business plot is on my screen (i will FF and ignore)

like i fully agree we all are here for BAEKHONG not all this extra nonsense why are the main leads and couple fighting for screen time im licherally so pissed off right now i’ll be watching the finale with gritted teeth atp.

i get that it’s an ensemble drama but they are SIDE CHARACTERS focus on your main characters and building them not all this extra stuff like omg this isn’t a seasonal drama we got ONE EPISODE LEFT 😭

absolutely wild how queen of tears was having a once-in-a-life-time kdrama run, hitting it out of the ballpark with every episode, but now we just have to watch it limp to the finish line with these awful early 2000s CW level plot-lines.

genuinely just tuned in for baekhong/soohyun & jiwon acting showcases because this is all so Ridiculous i can't even take it seriously anymore. we were promised One Drama and are getting something completely different and it's quite depressing

Hae in writing in her diary that the reason she wanted to live at first and the only reason she wanted to live even without her memories was baek hyunwoo like???? I'm gonna need her to get her memories back by the end of ep 15, I also need them to talk about their lost baby, get married again, make out at least twice and sleep together and get pregnant again. The last two episodes are 1h40 and 1h50 they have plenty of time for it!!!!

like these last episodes have been so bad writing wise i’m sorry what happened to the original plot the quality is on a downward slope and atp im only tuned in to see baekhong HOPEFULLY happy for more than five minutes.

we all tuned in to see baekhong solve their marital issues and be happy together and instead we are getting every plot besides that but yeah HW getting hit by a car is like my final straw if episode 16 doesn’t have a makeout kiss i’m going to become the joker

Even though Queen of Tears might not have the greatest writing for some, Baekhong love is just everything. I love seeing the trajectory of their love so much, from their dreamy fairytale dating era to marriage to falling out to rediscovering that love again. The way they would ride and die for one another and keep on falling for one another over and over again. Like I can’t even hate the tropes used because it just make their love feel so tremendous 😭❤️‍🩹 (and I’m so glad that Jiwon and Soohyun got casted for this because they definitely play a big part in making us feel that love)

I AGREE! like, the drama itself is pretty makjang and without baekhong idk if i would watch it, but whatever we get of baekhong is just???? so so so so SO life changing.

i feel like i'm truly watching a married couple and their challenges and they're both such good actors that it enhances the viewing experience tremendously. baekhong are just <3 one of the most special kdrama couples i have ever witnessed. they really give me the vibes and feels that i had watching kdramas in the early 2010s and i never thought i would feel that again but they did it! so so so thankful for soohyun and jiwon for taking these roles i can't see anyone else doing what they did.

if anything, i also hope baekhong starts a trend of more kdramas about married couples that don't involve cheating and affairs. just show me what couples go through with life! and how love perseveres!

I cannot believe I saw a comment with 20 likes under a tweet of the scene HW loses his mind when he thinks HI dies breaks a window with his bare hands and falls to his knees that says she loves him a lot more than he does. These people are just insane there's no other way around it literally what does this man have to give or sacrifice? They really need the male lead to be this perfect person who never makes a mistake and always acts like a wind up robot solely created to worship the female lead or he's not good enough.
