Drapers Cabin located in Indiana, inside Morgan-Monroe State Forest, is an 1800s no electric pioneer homestead. It was the home of Mr. Draper, who used this property to build a stone mill to provide for his local community. This 1800s cabin sits inside Morgan-Monroe State Forest inside Morgan and Monroe Counties in Indiana. It's the states 2nd largest forest with 24,000 acres of forest and abandoned pioneer properties. Mr. Draper built a retaining wall for a creek ran stone mill, behind where i took this photo. Sustainability at its finest.. The energy in these woods was astonishing, 20 minute hike or so to reach the cabin but the waterfall creek trail back into the property is worth it. You can even rent this cabin for private overnight stays! My name is Fuqua. Cory Fuqua. I was homeless, for 2 years. Got saved, by a married Christian family. They had a beautiful home, a traditional life, full of debt and days stretched by long hours, in a town they hated. I lived and worked for their auto detail shop for a year, then got me a job at Lowes, met my now fiance, Brookelyn. We moved in together within the 1st month of meeting.. She saved my life..... and taught me how to live again.. Thats her and our fur baby in my profile pic. A year into dating and living together, I asked her to marry me....she said yes!!.. She even talked me into, us buying our 1st camera 5 years ago ($10,000 ago) From there I fell in love with photography and videography. Brookelyn and I strive to build a solar tiny home studio and travel the country meeting people and taking portraits of everyone like-minded or not. We will also be filming alot of our journey and accomplishments. As we strive to become unconventionally sustainable and find our own way to truly experience life, along with, sharing that with you. Why don't you tag along and be apart of an Unconventional Movement, as we film and photograph our way to minimalizing our financial responsibility and maximizing how we experience life.
