thinking thinking about post Tigerstar's death Runningnose who has grown to reset Starclan because of everything.

Runningnose lived thought Brokenstar's tyranny. He saw his own mentor be exiled because of murder she committed.

He watched Starclan refuse to give Nightstar his lives because Brokenstar was still alive. He had to watch Nightstar slowly waste away. Do you think he knew Nightstar wasnt going to make it? After Nights death he has to take charge of a dying clan, and pretend nothing is wrong. Do you think he could hardly keep himself together at the gatherings?

And then Tigerstar comes in and hunts for Shadowclan. And later he gets the 'sign' that Tiger is meant to be their new leader. Do you think he thought 'Finally, Starclan is helping us!'

But he sees what Tigerstar does with his powers. He sees Tigerclan get formed. And then he learns the truth about Tiger. And sure, Tigerstar dies soon after but the damage has been done.

After getting back from Blackstars nine lives ceremony do you think he stared to wonder 'Why?'

Do you think he thought to himself 'Why did Starclan let Brokenstar become leader if they knew he was going to do all these horrible things? Why did they refuse to give Nightstar his lives just because that horrible cat was still alive? Why couldn't they have stripped him of his lives, isn't Starclan all powerful?

Do you think he thought 'Why did turn around they let another terrible cat come into power? Why did they tell him to put Tigerstar into power? They knew how horrible he was so why did they do this?

Do you think he thought 'Was all this punishment for something? Did Starclan think Shadowclan deserved to be brought to the brink of destruction by a tyrant only be saved by another?'

Do you think he couldn't look his ancestors in the eyes after everything?
