First Post!

I deleted my old tumblr because... man idk why it was covid-times and the prefrontal cortex was not in the room with us!! Anyways, I was reminded by my lovely friend @repecca that tumblr exists, and that some of my work has been going around on here, so I decided to post some of my work up officially! Starting off with my most notable (?) work to date, here's my LOTR: The Middle Kingdom Project. Now, it's been over a year since I posted this, and at the time I was... really searchingfor myself artistically, and I decided to go all in on something that I'd been ruminating on for a long time.

So, hello, again. I'm Leia. I do visual development/BG design, and I'm also a writer of things. I love fantasy and transformative work. It's nice to meet you.

I’m so happy I’ve finally received @runawaymarbles commissioned ficprint of @determamfidd incredible lotr story, Sansûkh, in its entirety!! This is all 50 chapters divided into 3 books, as well as some extras like the Meet a Dwarrowdam series.

These books are stunning, professional and hefty, I couldn’t be happier to with their look and feel. Time to reread Sansûkh!

@runawaymarbles was a dear that delightfully created the look of these, inside and out. We nerded out over khuzdul and tengwar, and didn’t flinch when I asked to add the epilogue to book 3, even though it made The Forging of Hope like 25% longer and thicker then planned (see how long the epilogue is below)

sorry sorry. but the fact that. sansûkh. is free??? to read???? online????? HALF A MILLION WORDS of the best writing i have ever read??? characters that each have depth and MEANING? the retrograding of the hobbit movies so that the dwarves are more fleshed out?? the mix of both the movies and the books (especially for gimlis lackluster personality in the films). i’m rereading it even though i first read it maybe 4 months ago and im still in awe that someone can write something so beautiful. so spectacular. like this is the bible for depressed gay middle earth fans. and this isn’t even considering the sheer amount of RESEARCH PUT INTO THIS?? christ almighty. i need everyone to pause right the fuck now and read this fic regardless of whether you ship bagginshield/gimleaf at all or not. i promise you, you will come out of this a changed man 😭
