Just finished the rewatch of Donna’s arc on Doctor Who. Donna is my 2nd fav companion after Martha and the only companion that I truly cry at when her arc ends. Such a relatable feeling: the feeling of being non-special. She spent her entire life feeling this way, met the Doctor, realized she was unique, just to forget it all. Such a tragic arc end.

This always makes me sob 😭. Donna spent her entire time with The Doctor learning that she was special and unique just to lose it all. She really does have one of the most tragic companion endings.

Just before Donna died, well into her nineties, she was visited by a strange man in a bowtie who she didn’t recognise.
