I love opening my tumblr after a solid month away and seeing people still reblogging posts I made two or three years ago. Like woah you’re interacting with a version of myself that is currently held behind a paywall (time) and that’s crazy!

I love going viral on tumblr.com. It’s like if you stood in a field and said some of the stupidest shit a human being is capable of and then like fifty thousand crows attacked you

It's never-ending. The grief is never-ending. The love is never-ending. Like, Oh. That's the nature of love.

Hermes is so good. I did a devotional act of taking the bus for him today and there was this very old lady I saw on the bench and I sat down next to her. She asked me for the time and we struck up a conversation and it lasted for almost an hour and ended with us exchanging numbers and she gave me a kiss and a hug goodbye I wanna cry

Want to get back into deity devotion but I’ve not done anything in over a year. Any tips? Not sure what I believe at the moment but when I worshipped I felt good.

Most people think forgiveness is free, and it is if you are the one who is being forgiven. Grace is indeed a gift extended freely, but forgiveness always comes at a cost, not to the offender but to the offended. Sometimes it's hard to forgive because you don't want to let go of your right to retaliate or expect compensation, to be hurt and have your hurt and your suffering acknowledged by the one who caused it. The thing is that rarely happens. Usually the offender does not feel the need to apologize or make amends and the offended is left with the pain and hurt brewing inside, poisoning the heart, but more often than not, this process takes time for it is a mourning process of one's self. The graver the offense, the more costly it is, yet it is more costly to not let go.
