I’m finally introducing an oc of mine to the ahit community here on tumblr. some of you may already know her (i see you) but! those who don’t can learn more about her right under the cut!

Basic Info:

Age: 26

height: 6′2

Species: Human

Occupation: Traveling merchant, Healer.

Biography:

 Nelly Brewster is a witch who lives a Nomadic lifestyle. She had been taught witchcraft by her adoptive feline mother. she went on to travel around the world, selling her potions, charms of good fortune and telling her tales of adventure to the children of the towns she visits. she may also sneak into the old haunted Subcon to collect mushrooms and herbs, often stopping for a while to interact with the forest dwellers and entertain them with her stories and silly songs.

Personality:

 she is known for being incredibly zany and eccentric, her unpredictable behavior and her wild nature had earned her a reputation. She has a childish spark and remains optimistic even when a situation is far from being in her favor. Nelly is also known for her unhealthy lack of fear, as curiosity will quickly take over, thus her reactions may not always be appropriate towards a dangerous situation. She very rarely loses her composure, but can be frightening when she finally does

Abilities: 

she was born blind and thus she had learned to navigate only using sound, in which she often clicks her tongue loudly to tell where certain objects are located. although she may know where objects are, she doesn’t always know what they are. this is an ability she had practiced at a very early age. Nelly has a rather strong build due to how active she is, constantly pulling off all sorts of stunts for the fun of it. combined with her height not many wish to initiate a fight. She is a witch who specializes solely on brewing healing potions and crafting charms for good fortune, thus her magic is not designed for any form of combat whatsoever. She possesses a hat that she uses often as storage. she is able to store any item of any size. Despite the hat looking like your typical witch’s hat.

 Is it infinite? or is there something else going on inside? none know, for it is as mysterious as the owner herself.

Trivia: 

• Nelly speaks with a mid-atlantic accent (the accent used for shows back in the early to mid 1900’s) 

 • She can play guitar and piano. 

 • Nelly often hosts a plethora of board game sessions for the subconites and dwellers when the infamous Snatcher is absent from the forest. She ends off the day by singing a story or two. 

 • She’s actually quite skilled at pantomime, and will mime when singing stories to young audiences

Totally agree with op here. but what’s worse is that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Snatcher has made a steady climb for power shortly after his death, he admitted to stealing a rough estimate of around a 100 souls. Not only does he not allow people to get too close to him, but he forces them to work for him. the motive? well allow me to get in that..

When you think about it he probably never had much freedom when he was alive, he was born a royal and must already had so much pressure on him, he worked hard to meet these expectations. and then when he met Vanessa its quite obvious that she has always been incredibly controlling, she most likely didn’t allow him to make many decisions for himself. he had no control

thats it, he wanted a sense of control that he never had in life. and now he has nothing to hold him back, he already lost everything.

 now he’s the one pulling the strings.

SNATCHER WAS IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP AND IS COMPLETELY GREIF STRICKEN THAT THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE BETRAYED HIM YET HE FEELS LIKE ITS SOMEHOW HIS FAULT BECUASE *SHE* MISUNDERSTOOD. HE JUST WANTED TO MAKE HER HAPPY BUT HE DIDNT REALIZE SHE WAS MANIPULATIVE AND OBSESSIVE UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. SNATCHER IS AN ANGRY ABUSE VICTIM THAT DOESNT KNOW HOW TO COPE WITH HIS TRAUMA SO HE ISOLATES HIMSELF AND PUSHES AWAY OTHERS BY ACTING LIKE A DICK. IN THIS ESSAY I WILL-
