Hard to swallow truth

From my understanding, popular streamer/Minecraft youtuber Ranboo wanted to play Omori on his stream. The tweet has been hidden since they made their account private now, but one of his fans wrote a big thread on all the “issues” with Omori for Ranboo to see, which basically boiled down to them believing the game to be “ableist” for giving a “bad representation” of “Dissociative Identity Disorder” since the character Omori is seen as violent as opposed to the character Sunny.

So Omori started trending on twitter because MCYT (minecraft youtuber) fans started taking this post as gospel, trying to warn Ranboo, without having done research on the game or even having played it, and Omori twitter started getting upset because people who have played the game know this to be straight up misinformation since Sunny doesn’t even have DID because the character Omori isn’t an alter for him. And the game isn’t ableist because the WHOLE GAME is about recognizing that you doing something horrible or you having a mental disorder shouldn’t make you a monster/unforgivable.

But regardless, it seems Ranboo will no longer be playing the game due to how crazy his fans got just now. Which sucks, imo, since he should be able to play whatever he wants.

I’m sure the fan made the thread with…good intentions I guess, but honestly why couldn’t they have just let Ranboo play the game and make judgement’s himself? The guy is 17, I’m sure he’s capable.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Diluc: Affection? In public? Never heard of her. The most he’s gonna do is a hand on your back to guide you in a crowd or grabbing ahold of your hand. MAYBE a short kiss or brief hug. But in private, at home, or when the tavern is empty? He does a complete 180. This man is so soft for you, and no one would believe it. He would love to give you back hugs when you’re helping him close up after a long shift. Neck kisses, too. Not in a sexual way, though, He just loves the intimacy of being so close to you. 

Childe: With consent, the “H” in Childe stands for “Handsy”. He loves to make you flustered, though, so prepare for him to pull some stunts in public. He’s also very protective of you. Being part of the Fatui, he’s got a dangerous job and no shortage of enemies. As a result, he doesn’t relax much in public. In private, though, he can also be a huge baby. Loves to be the little spoon. Fight me on that. He loves the feeling of being able to let his guard down and be protected for once instead of having to be the one doing the protecting. 

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Diluc: He’s not so much of a cuddler, but if you like it, he supposed it couldn’t be that bad. It would eventually grow on him, though. Especially after a tough day. Loves it when you lay on his chest and he can run his hands over your back or hold onto your waist. 

Childe: The “C” in Childe stands for “Cuddles”. I’m so sorry pls end me. Even though I spoke on this before, I’ll elaborate. Even if he knows he has to get up for work, he decides he’ll take the scolding if it meant he could stay in bed with you for longer in the morning. As the semi-designated little spoon on occasion, though, he would love to rest his head on your chest as you run your fingers through his hair. He has fallen asleep to that on multiple occasions. He probably mumbles in his sleep, too. Definitely the type of guy to bury his head in your chest under the guise of being asleep. He’s not always lying, though. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Diluc: He’s not really used to being gentle. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, but being vulnerable, especially emotionally, is just not something he’s particularly good at. There would definitely be a learning curve, that’s for sure. As established before, however, he is so soft when it comes to you so he would put all of his efforts into being careful with you. 

Childe: Coming from a fairly large family with younger siblings, he’s not too unfamiliar with being gentle. However, being part of the Fatui, it’s not exactly encouraged. That being said, when it comes to you, he couldn’t care less. He is so absolutely whipped for you. When he sees you interacting with his little brother, especially, that feeling is magnified by 100. 

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Diluc: After a long day, he loves to let his hair down, literally. But only as long as you’ll be there to run your hands through it and massage his head. His favorite thing to do after such a long day is to sit on the floor between your legs with a glass of wine and just relax as you run your fingers through his hair, massage his scalp, and tell him about your day. If the days’ events weren’t too stressful, maybe he’ll tell you about his day, too. 

Childe: You were practically begging him to meet his family. He wasn’t necessarily against it, but he was a bit nervous. For starters, the trek to Schneznaya wasn’t a short one. It was cold, not that it bothered him. Hey, you may even be more willing to let him hold you if you got cold enough. But more so, he was just worried. Worried that it wouldn’t last. Not that he was having any second thoughts, but what about you? The long nights, dangerous trips, and coming home battered and bruised more often than not which only added to your worry, he wasn’t sure how long you’d be able to take it. Eventually, he relented, though, and immediately regretted having waited so long. His family loved you, and the way you interacted with Teucer? He loved seeing the love you had for them. From that day on, he hoped to the Archons that he wouldn’t do anything stupid to lose you.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Albedo: He seems to be traditional but in an untraditional way. It all boils down to trust for him. He has no problem being committed, really, but if he is, it better be to someone who makes him feel loved and appreciated like no other.

Xiao: Poor sweet summer child. He's been alone for so long, he doesn't really know what it means to be committed. Even so, he hates to admit he kind of craves affection. Not in a needy, cuddly way, though, he can get like that at times, too. No, he needs the reminder that you're there for him and that he doesn't have to go at everything alone. It definitely wouldn't be a rushed process, but if you'll have him and give him time, he'll be with you until the end.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Albedo: He would definitely want it to be a precise moment. A moment when it feels absolutely right. Not too soon, but also not too long overdue. Probably the kind of guy to try to plan everything out. Take you to a nice place that he knows you'll enjoy, brings you a handmade gift, and says those three words. He just doesn't want to be the fool that says it too early. He is a genius, after all. You can't shove the words back down his throat after all. Once they're out there, they're out there. Might also be the kind that would whisper them to you when he thinks you're asleep. Please, save him the embarrassment and pretend you don't hear him unless he knows you're listening.

Xiao: Ohhhh boy, this guy probably hasn't told anyone that he loves them. Coming from his background, I could definitely see love being portrayed as a weakness. It's just something that if he showed to someone, might end up getting them hurt in the long run. Don't get him wrong, he so desperately wants to tell you that he loves you. He just doesn't know how. Has been on the verge of telling you so many times, just never did. He says he loves you more in his actions. If you say it verbally first, though, be prepared for him to whine about how that was "supposed to be his line first."

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Albedo: Spending so much time Dragonspine and being around the same group of people all the time, he's not used to having to explain things for the sake of explaining things. Even so, he's a very candid person, even if he's a bit aloof. He tells you things just as they are. As a result, if you ask about him, he will tell you what he feels comfortable divulging. Until he really gets to know you, it seems things would be on a "don't ask, don't tell" basis.

Xiao: As someone who's been around awhile, there's just so much to say. He could honestly go either way. Seeing as he's been alone for quite a while, he can be very stuck in his head. Not used to voicing things for other people to hear. For a long time, there just wasn't a point to it. He would either tell you everything and hope you could deal with his past, or not say anything until he knows you can handle it. Whatever happens, just please cherish this poor boy.
