— my jshk theory on tiny light —

(spoiler alert 🚨)

not sure if anyone has done this yet but heres my theory on what might happen next in jshk with the help of my frd haha

so basically i felt like the tiny light amv (ending theme) brings out the whole plot of this story. first of all, tiny light has two colour combinations, the first one is white, the other is red, which symbolise the near shore and the far shore respectively

notice how at first nene was walking alone, and she has a shadow on the red side, this hints that nene was going to die and thats why she could see supernatural beings like hanako bc she was close to the far shore.

all the normal students are on the near shore w/o the reflection

i m sure that u guys know about the yorishiro and the two in one theory, i pretty much agree with the yorishiro one and this scene shows hanako and tsukasa on both near and far shore also they were overlapping each other

later when nene reached hanako, they both fell to the opposite sides overlapping each other, menaing that they had formed the bond and can see/touch each other

these two are actually parallels as you can see, and this is the start of the story!

the colours black and red often hint that theres danger and with both hanako and nene falling deep down, its like how they went to different boundaries like in misaki stairs, 4pm bookstack, hell of mirrors, no 6’s boundary etc.

at last, hanako lets go of nene and (yeet) her out of the far shore, which seems like he sets her free

if this is true there will be various versions of endings

hanako might sacrifice himself to save nene, in the video you can see that hanako fell deep down into the far shore. in perfect picture arc, nene wishes to live the next 90 years, which makes sense for hanako to sacrifice himself to grant her wish bc thats his rumour

nene might die and go to heaven or sth so that she could save someone as the rain stops and the sun comes out when she flew to the sky (?)

with the support of tiny light’s lyrics, all of these kinda make sense, the songs has a nostalgic tone at the beginning and later it gets playful, but then the meaning of the song actually presents the idea of changing their fate and also showed some regrets, eg ‘if i am able to say”u are precious” will my heart feel lighter?’, ‘even darkness is fading unexpectedly’

we all know that nene and hanako have feelings for each other we can see it in the song as well:

this feeling that i keep hiding in my heart

i wouldnt have known it w/o you

every tear every smile all of that is for you

i found my fate in a coincidence

by you simply being here, the world has changed

note: i wanna cry :(

anyways i kinda believe that kou and nene might be endgame or even if they wont be tgt, nene and the others will lose/frgt hanako :( this is so sad but somehow i want to see it end this way what do you guys think?
