i think the same and also wanted to add more: i'm really upset to know that the writers made him to be someone who would ignore two of his children bc they weren't airbenders, it doesn't match aang which bothers me a lot.

katara always shows that she loved her children very much, and i honestly believe that this reflects mainly on tenzin. he's a very loving and understanding father. not only with his children but also with korra and other people. i really love him, my favorite character by far
