can stop thinking about how Cas constantly found loopholes and bent the Empty’s rules. 

Like the first time he wakes up with the Empty he realizes he can escape if he just.. threatens to annoy the Empty for eternity First angel to defy death by being an annoying lil bitch <3 

and then he twists the Empty’s rules again with making the deal for the Empty to take him instead of Jack, which gives him the most LOADED PLAYING CARD into his hand where he reasons hes basically invincible from the Empty as long as he isnt happy (which makes me want to eat glass if i think about too long so we are gonna ignore that for now) 

and then AND THEN he USES THAT CARD! When he “mostly dies” so he can get that info from Ruby and Jack worries the Empty might keep him and is like “It cant get me, I’m far from happy”. He’s using the deal thats hanging over his head as LEVERAGE! against the entity that put it there! Hes just stunting on all the rules the Empty tried to put on him! 

AND THEN the confession!!! He uses this deal that was hanging over his head to do one final good thing and save the man he loves! He uses it to say what he’s always wanted! The Empty gets to win, but Cas gets to leave on his terms!!! Funky lil rebel angel has never followed a rule in his life!!!
