Objectively, yes: no one deserves death threats, I’m sure she’s a very good performer, and I’m sorry that her time in the spotlight has been negative and there is no doubt there is a racial component to so much of her treatment from the fans

OTOH: based off of what we saw on the TV show, I’d settle for mild indifference towards her? nothing that she was selling on the show was something I wanted to buy? She was one of the reasons I didn’t particularly care for that season and much like E*reka, there were times the favoritism felt v evident and forced.

I feel like I’d be perfectly within my rights to say, based off what I saw on the show, I have no desire to see more of you and be done with the whole thing like I am so many of the other queens

like on one hand, yes “the edit” is a thing but on the other hand she did say/do all of that stuff and I don’t know that even if there was more to balance it out I would still want to care?

this is a lot of emotion for “willing to settle for mild indifference” but like when she keeps getting mentioned as a victim all the time I don’t want to cause drama, or be more hateful but at the same time I just don’t agree with the idea that she’s just a victim beyond a certain level of “the fandom treated her terribly”
