Hey guys!! Got more news! I've been hard at work, and the next chapter of It Ain't Easy Being Gangreen is officially finished! All I have to do is edit it and upload! So that's coming REALLY soon! Also I've gotten a job at a workshop now: I teach a couple art classes per day, and I supervise some computer classes as well! So that keeps busy during the day. But I'm still here with the boys! As soon as we get this chapter up, they're gonna focus on answering your asks!

Catch up and psa

Unfortunately it's time for another bad news catch up, but also a safety psa. So remember how I said I was going to University to major in theater? Not anymore. My first, and last, day at that campus was...awful. My building was a labyrinth, even with a map, my classes were demanding of out of class hours, bus systems would barely cooperate with me AND was a full HOUR late to pick me up after school. My housemanager was eorried sick and I felt very unsafe. Not only that but the campus itself felt unsafe. I BARELY saw a single adult faculty outside of class. And not ONE security guard on that giant campus. Plus, none of my grants OR fafsa would cover my textbooks!!! And I saw a female student wearing nothing but a literal tube top and short shorts. Talk about a lack of decent dress code...So I did some investigating, and withdrew immediately with what I found. The school in question had a recorded 139 student related crimes and incidents...IN 2019 ALONE! No wonder I felt so unsafe there!!! So here are a few redflags to watch out for if YOU are choosing a university.

1. Dresscode. How a student dresses, and how a achool LETS them dress, says a LOT of how much the campus prioritizes student safety. If you see students dressing in alarmingly revealing clothing, the campus probably doesn't give a shit of what you look like.

2. Security. Be alarmed if you don't see much security, if any. And yes, campuses should have security. My old campus, where I graduated from with my associate of arts degree, was a community college but THEY had security guards around the building, watching out for students. Terrifyingly, a student, or anyone, could literally walk in with a freaking GUN and get away with it. The university didnt even have metal detectors.

3. School crime history. Don't trust just an orientation. Investigate. Do research and see if the campus has a history. If they have a lot of history with crime, then they are likely to have future problems as well. My old school had a clean record compared to them.

So please everyone, take extra care when choosing a college! As for my future, that fiasco is done so I should be getting back to being active on this blog with the boys! Long as I don't get ANOTHER setback. Take care!!!

Hey everyone, sorry I've been mia. Truth is after i finished my summer classes i went on vacation but...it was more bad than good. So bad I actually had to battle to prevent a depression relapse for weeks. About back to normal now though, and working on catching back up here again now, but won't be daily by far cause I start University next tuesday. But missed you all, and I really appreciate the patience with my lack of communication! Thank you everyone! The gang will be back now before you know it!

-Snake looks up from sketching in surprise.

"Alright. Ahem. Kon'nichiwa! Watashinonamaeha ssssssunēkudesssssssu. Watashi wa gangurīngyangu no ichiindesssssu!"

-Grubber pops up, holding up a translation card: Hello! My name is Snake. I'm part of the Gangreen Gang!-

"Whoaaaaa! Si si! Nice one, Snake!"

"Dah, what Snake just say??"

"Haha, go Snake! Gettin' multilingual in here! Okay Grubber, you know what to do!"

-Grubber waves to the camera as he pops up, blows a raspberry, then shuts it off.-

If yer life was a movie, what song would play in the end credits? Hmm...Good question. I'd say there's lots of songs that suit us, but since we're talking the end credits instead of theme song, I think I'd have to say...I'm just a kid, by good ol' Simple Plan! It's a song about bein' young and on yer own. Kinda like us! Plus it's catchy, like those end credits songs always got! Say, we should add some Simple Plan tunes to that spotify list of ours! Hehe! We're still working on getting it uploaded again, but in the meantime, Ace is getting impatient. He wants control of the blog back. Hey guys! Sorry I'm slow! Prepping for fall University transfer is a process, but that's done now! Phew! I wanted to make up to you all about me having to hiatus for a couple weeks, so Snake, Grubber and I have been hard at work to get the next chapter of It Ain't Easy Bein' Gangreen finished for you guys! ;) Oh, and the Rowdyruffs have been...rowdy. So Ace has been having difficulties with interview prep. At least wealmost got this next chapter done through! So expect that shortly! And Ace promises the interview IS coming! Soon as we reach an agreement with the Rowdyruff Boys to stop wrecking stuff. So expect a treat soon to make up for the delay!

Hey everyone mun here!!! I am GRADUATED!!! And got accepted into University! Come fall I'll be in theater! I was busy catching up this weekend, but I'm thrilled to be returning!!! Gonna get to work on that late with Ace and the rrb asap! Thanks for the support and patience!

Bad news

Mun here. Sorry, but Thursday night I got a sore throat from what I thought was exercising with my mouth open or acid re-flux (i went into 2 hour exercise right after eating dinner) but it’s still lingering. it’s pretty uncomfortable and i think my sinuses are acting up, so maybe it’s the weather bouncing around again causing allergies again, idk, but gonna wait til i feel 100% to get to asks/the RRB interview. Sorry everyone. I wish this weather would quit changing…I’ve been gargling with salt water, eating spoonfuls of honey + lemon juice, hot coffee with honey in it, and honey lemon cough drops to try and get rid of this asap. Wish me luck!

Hey everyone! The mun here! So update: My strep is gone(I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks), but now I'vebeen busy with graduation prep. Graduating community college in a couple weeks, and I already applied for University. This week I have a meeting with the theater program advisor, but my acceptance is pretty much confirmed! I graduate May 13th officially. So I'll be back after the 13th, and I PROMISE to give you guys the best Late with Ace interview yet! And answer ALL of the inbox! As always thanks for being patient, can't wait to return! And I'm trying to start chapter 2 of It ain't easy being gangreen! Thanks!!!

Update: Thanks for the wellwishes everyone! Sadly it turns out my allergies WEREN'T acting up. My pained throat also wasn't from poor exercise care. Went to get strep tested today and results came back positive. It sucks, but I had strong suspicions it was Strep yesterday. Getting antibiotics tonight and I'll be back up and running normally by Thursday! Thanks again! 🥰

You guessed it, guys. Happened again. Past two weeks, college slammed me with a few big assignments back to back. But they're done down and my pace is back to normal. For now. Luckily i graduate in a few weeks! I'll get the smaller asks answered before Saturday. Thanks again for the patience!
