Hi, this is a question for the mun! What is Vocaloid/UTAU to you?

((Greetings anon, I didn’t expect to get a question for myself, but since it’s monday when i saw this ask, I don’t really mind answering. 

Vocaloid/UTAU is for me a way to connect to people, I’m quite the social awkward person, and Vocaloid gave me the opportunity to get friends who share the same interests as me. Not just through askblogging but also in general.

Vocaloid/UTAU also helped me through a lot of different times in my life, which I’m really thankful about, it can cheer me up and actually make me feel like I’m not the emotionless monster everyone calles me. It gives me motivation to draw again, actually try to achieve something.

For me it’s a life saver and just part of my life at this point? Idk how to properly describe it, Vocaloid just means a lot to me. It’s not just a software that makes voicebanks sing, it’s so much more.

I feel like this got kind of depressing, I’m sorry if that’s the case, I just tried to put my thoughts to that question into words. I’m not really good at it. ;; But I hope I could answer your question anyways–
