Hey everyone! In order to make things easier for me to organize and (hopefully) improve the structure and writing of this blog, Kirp’s blog will be revamped and rewritten as a hard reset! 

I’ve thought long and hard about this choice, but ultimately I couldn’t see anywhere around it. It’s not very fun for me to work on this blog or update it if I ultimately do not agree with the direction its going for anymore.

I know some of you may be sad to see Kirps adventures go, but I will try to keep some core concepts in order to not completely alienate people. Kirp is still a smeet, he’s still adopted by the Mothman and his partner, and he will carry a few personality traits over into the revamp.

A lot of things will have to be cut unfortunately, but I feel like its for the better. The blog was frankly..very cluttered and there are plot threads I’ve forgotten and never revisited. Which is bad.

I don't think its worth chasing the pixie. If I were in your position I would just cut my losses and go home. Especially since fairies (from my own experience) have a tendency to lead children astray and have them get lost in the woods at best, or trap them in the fae world forever at worst. But if those boots really mean that much to you, instead of finding the pixie, maybe try making the pixie come to you? Or get your dad to help you search before you find yourself too deep in the woods alone. You dont have to take my advice, but I do suggest at least think about it. I have a very bad feeling about this and my gut is almost never wrong.

"Yeaaahhhh I already knew that"

"Y'see-My dad told me a lot about supernatural stuff he's encountered over the years and things to look out for-I don't really care about the boots and now I just wanna go home and play video games."

"Buttttt this forest seems crazy cursed with evil magic I guess since I can't even see the sky between the trees. All it is is more trees, thorns, brambles, or just the unyielding abyss. I tried touching the abyss on the way here, but it felt cold."

"But you know, I have a plan, so its no big deal."

“wait a minute-somethings fishy here”

[Kirp lifts up his leg to find...his boot?]

[certainly, he’s not going to fall for that.]

[..lo and behold, he was right.]

“Okay...”

[Kirp quickly shakes off the other false boot, and slowly lifts up the blob like creatures from the ground, looking unamused as they stare at him blankly.]

[The dog wakes up suddenly, letting out an alarmed whine,]

"..Oh hey its up now. Coollll."

[Upon exiting the cave, Kirp wanders the forest looking for any trace of the problematic pixie. He doesn’t find much, but he does find enough fairy dust to at least get a lead of her direction.]

[It’s not until Kirp feels the grass change underneath his feet that he gets a new lead.]

[There’s a trail of paw prints leading to somewhere..and Kirp subsequently follows them to their source.]

[After a long, long time of searching, Kirp seems to to have finally found what he was looking for]

Yes!

[Kirp stands up from his scavenging, holding up a sculpture of what appears to be an iron koala]

I have what I need now!-I’ll put ya back later lil guy

[He eagerly scurries out of the cave]

Why would I give you my name? I just want my boots back

[The fae’s eye twitches ever so slightly]

It is..the polite thing to do my child.

But its not polite to steal someones boots, so I don’t have to be polite back. Also, I’m not your kid! You’re not my mom or my dad..you’re just a weird glowy bug.

[The fairy mutters something under her breath, as if trying to calm herself.]

Well, did your mother and father not teach you to respect your peers?

Not if they’ve stolen my stuff.

Oh it was only a game silly!~ It's in a pixies nature to try and have a bit of fun; we don’t get many strangers, you know? Especially not ones so..otherworldly.

[Kirp thinks thoughtfully for a moment before responding]

Can we play a different game then? One where I have my boots on?

How about this..You play a game with me first and then if you win this round the boots are all yours.

Thats not fair! They already belong to me!

Too late! The games already begun! See if you can find me~

[And with that, the pixie disappears into a puff of smoke and sparkles]
