My ficwriter story

When I first started watching the animated series, like most fans, I was fascinated by Cat Noir. He reminded me of a character from a story that I started making up as a child, but still haven't finished.

But then I started writing fan fiction about Ladybug. I came up with one version of the revelation of the main characters, another - and soon realized that the topic was exhausted for me.

However, I saw art with genderswap characters - male!Ladybug and fem!Cat Noir. It impressed me and I wanted to write a story about them. It was my biggest fanfic at the time. I wrote how superheroes from a parallel world got into our dimension, who met their own doubles, who experienced adventures. And in one moment I understood - I need one more character.

This is how Renard appeared.

He just burst into the story - I stopped after only 6 pages of text. It was very exciting - the character brought humor and action, developed the plot and conquered the readers. And then I thought - Alya must also be just as cool, because she has a similar character. I started watching the series and fell in love with this character. She is dedicated, purposeful and has a sense of incredible strength.

Although I still think that in the case of Alya and Nino, the genderswap will make everything fall into place. Just imagine - a bright guy, a fighter for the truth and a fan of superhero comics and a quiet girl who listens to electronic music and is ready for anything for the sake of those she loves. I also really like that they belong to interesting peoples. Alya is a Creole from the island of Martinique in the Caribbean Sea, and once I wrote a fanfic with pirate motifs.

I also wrote a big fanfic about Alya and Nino and called it a line from a club hit - "My hero is the DJ". I also listen to such songs, they inspired me about the adventures of Rena and Carapace and their love story. But the readers did not like the story too much.

Despite this, in 5 years (2018 - 2022), I wrote more than 40 fanfics about Renard - their volume ranges from 2 to 300+ pages. Almost all of them were published in Russian and now they are not freely available due to the war in Ukraine and unacceptable changes to the site where I published my fan fiction.

I am not giving up hope of writing an original story about a character inspired by the Fox - not only with MLB motifs, but also myths and ancient books, such as the French "Roman de Renard". The other day I was very happy when I found an archive of my ideas on a flash drive.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to write at all right now. The treatment of Alya in season 4 was very painful for me to watch. There were many episodes about her, but the fans hated her. I even received negative comments under my fanfics. So now I don't know how to tell the world about my favorite character. I have ideas left that I didn't have time to write, but in my country there is less and less interest in MLB.

A small announcement

After the release of season 4, these were all the main characters with whom I made collages. I have now updated the collages with several characters that were made a long time ago, as well as new minor characters. In addition, collages with the central couples of the animated series will be released for the first time! Thank you all so much for your support and interest in what I'm doing! You can order a collage with your favorite character or couple and I will prepare it as soon as I can. Unfortunately, I'm coming home from work very late now, so from now on the collages will be published once or twice a week. But the Miraculous remains in the soul of each of us!
