My grandfather was an american atomic soldier. when he came back home to start a family, out of five children, one was miscarried, one died after a month, one was supposed to die at six months but a doctor performed a "first-in-the-world" surgery to save her life so that she could die at 16 on a date, and my mothers ribcage is mishappen and shes missing her chest muscles on one half of her body. He also had dozens of cases of skin cancer, and my uncle nearly had as many, and died of a different cancer. My mother has also had skin cancer.

My point is, you should probably be on a lookout for gastrointestinal cancer anyway

when doctors ask if i have any history of cancer in my family and i have to say that yes my grandmother had 2 types of gastrointestinal cancer and they're like oh wow okay so we'll keep an eye out for that but i'm like no it was probably just all the nuclear radiation and they're like ok hm ok what the fuck do you mean and it's very weird seeing the look on american doctors' faces when you have to explain to them that believe it or not atomic bombs were dropped on this earth 2 generations ago and it did have consequences

Here's me citing my claims, and not everyone will have access to the same information I do (and therefore unable to do the research themselves) because my university pays a large sum of money to maintain access for their students. some of this information very much is not free. Nor does everyone know what exactly they are supposed to be looking for. you dont teach people to swim by dropping them at point nemo and telling them to swim to shore.
