It was five years ago when the zombie apocalypse started, five years ago, when you had lost your family. You still had nightmares every night but you had to be strong. Because it was also five years ago that you had met the people that had saved you- physically from the zombies and emotionally from the panic attacks and nightmares from losing your family.

That was when you had met.. Stray Kids. The group of boys who had banded together to survive also took you in as one of their own. Even though you were the youngest, you still took care of them.

One night, you woke up in the middle of the night. Sweating, remembering the night the apocalypse started. You tried to shake your thoughts, but the darkness trapped your mind. Before you could start to panic, you felt a hand on your thigh. “y/n?” It was hyunjin.

You focused in on his face, only illuminated by the soft moonlight. You couldn’t say anything, just gasping and trying to control your breathing.

“Y/n, whats wrong?”

“I- I..”

You were still shaking, so he wrapped his arms around you. “I got you.”

It made you blush, you had always had a crush on the boy- his blue orbs and his blonde hair that he kept in that little man bun. But you had always been afraid to say it.

Suddenly, there was noise outside. The tent you were sleeping in shuffled as Bang Chan burst through the flap. “Guys! Wake up! Zombies!”

Immediately all of us scrambled up, reaching for our weapons. Not a moment later, fast zombies just through the tent and started attacking. I was one of the best fighters so I had tried to stay in front to protect them. I was starting to get overwhelmed by zombies though!

“Y/n! Watch out!” Hyunjin jumped in front of me just as a zombie swung a metal pole at him, impaling the lanky man.

“AHHH” i screamed and it scared all the zombies away. Han ran over to hyunjin as he was lying on the floor and started doing cpr. “Jinnie! Stay with me!”

Han teared up. “He’s not doing good- I don’t know if he’s gonna make it…”

He didn’t even make a face as blood oozed out of him, alhtough his pale skin gave away that he was doing. “Y/n-” he whimpered.

“Jin- I have to tell you something-” i said, holding onto his limp clammy hands. “I love you.”

It was like life returned to his eyes. “You- you do?”

“Yes! I’ve always loved you. It’s like I’ve loved you since before I knew you.You’re a part of me- just stay with me!”

“I love you too-” he coughed up blood. His lips trembled. “I promise to stay.”
