ai writing is not okay.

it’s literally theft. just like how ai art steals, ai writing steals. it’s using authors’ very real work to generate whatever you type in. and this also needs to be said as well.

writing is a form of art. fanfiction is a form of literature.

seeing this all over my fyp is REALLY discouraging. fanfic itself is already a labor of love and we love it when you interact. but please do not use ai writing for your fanfic needs when this writing literally steals from fanfic authors.

How We Got Here

Oneshot Grian x reader Contains: Fluff, Winged!Grian, Winged!Reader -------------------------------------

You think back on the first time you met Grian, remembering how you got to this point.

"Oh you should meet my friend, he's a bird hybrid too!" Scar had been so excited you had agreed. You didn't want to let him down. He never let you down.

Two weeks later and there you were, walking beside the salesman. "Trust me." Most people wouldn't trust those words, but you did. You still do. You'd known Scar a long time.

He worked hard to shed his reputation for you. He was not going to ditch all that now to play some silly little prank on you. At the time you had hoped not.

The idea of meeting another bird hybrid was.. terrifying. You hadn't met another of your kind since you came to these lands. You'd met all kinds of others, but you had thought you were the only bird.

"It's just around here." Scar stated, noticing as you slowed down. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, just nervous." "You've got nothing to be nervous about. The two of you will get along, I know it." A smile rested upon his lips, no mischievous smirk in sight.

"Okay." You said, breathing slowly in an attempt to calm your nerves. The two of you began to walk again, rounding the corner.

At first you hadn't seen him, the sun blinding. But once your eyes adjusted you were awestruck.

His back was turned, allowing you a good look at his wings. Parrot wings, vibrantly coloured. There were a few feathers missing, but on the whole they were perfect.

"Grian!" Scar greeted his friend, the man turning around. His eyes didn't travel to Scar, finding you first.

You felt his gaze on you, he looked you up and down first, but his eyes ultimately landed on your own wings. Like his yours were well cared for, beautiful in their own right.

He walked over, extending his hand. You were hesitant back then, but shook it anyway. "I'm Grian." He introduced himself so calmly, which didn't help your nerves. "Y/n, I'm Y/n." You had replied, not quite coming off quite as carefree.

"You're a (bird) hybrid, aren't you?" Grian asked, eyes travelling to your wings once more. "I am, and you're a parrot hybrid. Your wings are beautiful." You remember how his eyes lit up.

"Thank you, yours are too. Truly." His smile genuine, "Oh, I know. How about we show our wings at full extension?" He was clearly excited, so you agreed.

"Okay, you first." Grian had backed up slightly before spreading his wings. They were so much prettier, backed by the sun his wings were possibly the most beautiful things you had ever seen.

At that moment you knew that he was the one for you. "Your turn!" He had pulled you out of your trance, watching as you repeated what he had just done.

The sun highlighted each feather, bringing out the most subtle and usually hidden of colours in your wings. You could tell Grian felt the way you did just by the look on his face.

And so the two of you had gotten to know each other, at first with others around, Scar was a big advocate for the two of you. Soon enough you were spending time alone.

Your time spent together was amazing. You had never flown so much in your life. The two of you have raced countless times, improving your flight skills as time has gone on.

He asked you to be his in the air, you agreed, the two of you venturing on more romantic, yet still playful, flights from that moment on.

Which brings you to now, landing clumsily outside the home the two of you share. You're lucky Grian used his wing to block you from landing in the flowerbed. "You went quiet on me back there." He states, gently flapping his wings to properly stretch them out after the flight.

"Sorry, I was thinking." You reply, stretching out your own wings. "About?" "When we first met."

Grian's eyes shine as he walks to be closer to you, brushing his fingertips against your outstretched wings. "You were the most wonderous thing I had ever seen, your wings a perfect compliment to the rest of you. They still are."

You pull him close, wrapping your arms around him, then your wings as well. "You said exactly what I was going to about you." He hums happily. "You're picking up my parrot habits, darling." He winks.

"Copying is not specially a parrot habit, besides I thought of it first." "Well, I said it." He leaves you a gentle kiss on the lips, following it up with a gentle peck.

You open up your wings, giving them a little shake before letting them return to their neutral position. You watch as Grian stretches out his wings again, as in love with them now as you were the first time you saw them. Although you're much more in love with him than you were then, the two of you had just met after all.

"You're staring." He smirks at he walks into the house, chuckling to himself as he does so. When you know he can't see you you mimic him, but that quickly turns into a frown once you hear "I told you that you were picking things up."

He didn't even see you. Then again you do it every time, it's not like he doesn't know at this point. "Are you coming?" He calls.

You roll your eyes, a smile on your face. You can't imagine life without him now, the two of you make the perfect pair.

"I'm coming." You smile to yourself, you're happier now than you've ever been. You were so worried the first time you met Grian. But it led you here.

For that you couldn't be more grateful, to Grian for everything he's done since that day, and to Scar for making it possible in the first place. You and Grian were simply meant to be. After all, they do say birds of a feather flock together. In this case that couldn't be more true.

Haha I have inspiration for once. Heavily inspired by Paprikup's Bbh/Quackity animation called "DEVIL'S DEAL" as well I started this like ages ago. Seriously please send me asks ;-; (omg I can post lmao)

NOTES/WARNINGS: Bro I started this back in like.. July last year so I completely forgot what the original idea for this poor thing was. As well here is the song that Devil's Deal was inspired by; highly recommend in general but especially while you read this :]

The Nether was a hellish land. The lava, constant fear of hoglins, wither skeletons, and ghast left the Nether to not be laughed at. Yet for Bad and (Y/N) it was home.

Running from the demon behind her, she was left laughing. The two children ran for their play time before parents came to find them. Soul sand slowed them both significantly but it didn't stop the two. Tackling the girl Bad laughed and held her.

"I got you!" he shouts as the two fall down. Their blissful giggling ringing between the duo. Sand clouded before settling on them.

"Shut up Bad" (y/n) playfully huffed. A happy memory for a happy time.

The vines that lived around the server clung to anything they could. The life it hung from began to die. Trees, grass, and flowers all wilted and died from the vines leaching off of their lives. Whatever homes the red tendrils clung to would start to decay and crumble under its own weight.

Wandering deep into the caves of the server would find you. Dearest (Y/N) hiding amongst her own life. The vines had yet to reach her under ground home but she had long since learned of their horrid existence.

Climbing up from her home, (Y/N) made her way to the Eggpire's base. Finding a location based off of rumor's and her own findings. "Bad!" she called out for her old friend. The whispers of how he's changed worried her more than anything. The darling baker she knew not only as a child but well into adulthood would never do something like this.

Was the egg a bad influence?

"BAD!" she yelled out again, ever so hopeful to gain his attention. "Heavens where could you be?" she mumbles, walking further into the base. Various shades of red illuminated the space; if it weren't for the thing bringing the light it was almost beautiful. Yet this is where you found him.

Bad sat next to the egg; his face was one of pure bliss. He looked so happy sitting there next to a stupid egg. "Bad?" you called out for the third time.

Pulling from a fantasy he looked at you in a daze. The way he used to look at you before Sapnap was born. One of love and longing. It almost felt like the two of you were teens again; dumb and in love.

"(Y/N)! Baby! Where you've been muffin? I've missed you~," he slurred to you, seemingly in a stupor. Stumbling to you Bad lounged around your shoulders. His height easily towering over yours he ended up sitting on his knees and nuzzling his head to your neck. "Ooh I forgot how warm you are muffin"

"Bad, I have a few questions for you" you asked gently

"And what's that pretty girl?" he spoke into your neck.

"What is all of this? With the egg and the vines.."

"So you're interested in joining?! Ooh I've been wanting to invite you for awhile but Ant kept telling me to wait for a better moment-" he rushed out to you. Pulling away he stood up fully to stare back down at you. "The egg can give you your greatest desire beautiful!"

"This isn't you Bad.." You told him. Reaching up to cup his face you rubbed his cheek. "The Bad I know wouldn't hurt a soul. What has the egg offered you? I'm sure I can give it to you far better than the egg could.."

"Well you can't keep Skeppy alive forever.. Skeppy is everything to me (Y/N)" he said calmly.

Rather annoyed you pulled your hands away. "Well then.. I see my time has been wasted here. I hope the egg gives you the best here"

"Wait pretty girl don't go-" Bad called to you

"No I see I wasted my time on you, Bad." walking back you tried to leave Bad back to the egg.

"No please, (Y/N), you didn't waste your time-"

"Then what was all the danger we lived through as kids? Before Skeppy came along. What are all the hours I helped you raise Sap?," you interrupted. "All I've ever wanted was to be with you Bad, but I guess I'm not all that important; at least not anymore. Truly I wish the best for you all" ending with such you went off back to your home leaving the defeated demon in the trail.

Looking back to all the memories he had, all Bad could do is just sit. You spent so much time helping and loving him. Late nights up together in the Nether leading to unspeakable things; nights run by talking and taking care of an infant Sapnap. The nights where Skeppy, you, and himself would run around causing chaos for every living thing around the three of you.

You are important and you didn't waste your time, but sometimes time won't equate to importance.

Cuddling headcanons(part 1)

Cause I'm lonely af. Also happy new year. I'll write the other half in the morning when I'm not nearly as sad

DREAM

Dream always holds you to him when you two cuddle

Warm warm warm

He might be on the scrawnier side but he still keeps you plenty warm

In the beginning he doesn't really ask to be little spook too much but once he's out and away from the prison he begs to be held by you

Normally he'll do so when one or both of you are tired

Ways They Show That They Love you(multiple)

Inspiration has struck once again. As always reader is neutral however I do change between feminine and masculine pet names cause I can never fucking decide. This is more so about the love languages of the characters

Dream expresses himself best through touch

He's always touching you in some way

Sleeping? Arms are wrapped around you. Cooking? Mf is tryna hold your hand

He'll tell you how lovely you are, and how happy you make him but he will always show you that he loves you before he'll say it

When he becomes more reclusive in the Disc saga you know he still loves you because of how tight he holds you at night

In the prison he holds his pillow and convinces himself that it's you.

Both you and the pillow are soft; even if the pillow has long since lost its fluffiness

Should you ever go to visit Dream in Pandora's Vault then he will not hesitate to hold you to him

He's been alone for so long that he's forgotten what your touch feels like

George rarely expresses himself already; he mirror's those around him

But when it comes to you he feels more comfortable to be himself

Please touch the poor man. He's been through too much

During the day he's a little more reserved when touching you but he still holds you

Dealing cards? He has you sitting pretty right next to him at the dealers end. Sitting at the bar on a break for dinner? He has his non dominant hand resting on your waist or thigh.

Once all the doors have been locked, and the cards/chips all packed he has you in his arms. Spinning and dancing around in the silence of the night; maybe Slime is trying to play the piano in the background

At home he's around you every chance he gets

When one of you cooks the other is either preparing other ingredients or messing with the radio to get it to play music

Well now I have an idea for a Quackity imagine

KARL JACOBS

He sleeps around you a lot

This isn't inherently bad. Just annoying at times

Between time travel he can't control and the mess with Sapnap and Quackity he's so tired

In every era he's gone to he has found the three of you and every time he is drawn to you and sap

He found that he sleeps the best when in your bed; hell even in your house

There's something about you that makes him feel more comfortable and he finds it easier to sleep.

TECHNOBLADE

He shares his space with you

Techno is naturally a solitary person so more often than not he retreats away from everyone to recharge his social battery

Sometimes with you it just doesn't drain

Once he realizes this he spends more time with you around.

Making you help him with chores around the farm, taking care of Steve and Carl, and preparing potions

Eventually you basically move it and you two are essentially dating. Yet neither of you clarify this to the other

You both make the mutual conclusion of 'oh so we are dating now'

FOOLISH GAMERS

Spend time with his kids

Seriously Finny and Jr are such a big part of his life that anyone who can't at least get along with his kids is immediately out of the dating pool

Albeit this kinda highlights my personal views of what a single parent should do when dating

Spending time with the two kids is a quick way to worm into his heart. Once he sees that the kids like you he'll bring you around more often

Finny once made the comment to him that she liked how you did your makeup and he asked you if you could show her

Jr likes it when you play rougher with him so he can prove how strong he can be

Foolish sometimes takes it too far and accidentally hurt him so when you play with Jr it makes him melt

And should you have kids he'll play with them as well!

Very much involve his children when you're all together it makes him very happy

hot take here but the way people talk about “redemption arcs” and how they require that the sinner repent, debase himself, and then atone for his sins in order to be accepted back into the warmth of readers’ love, but there are some unforgivable sins for which no atonement is enough

is INCREDIBLY culturally christian

just a quick notice to anyone who dislikes seeing the IRL cc’s names on ao3, you can replace them with their character/channel names using this chrome extension.

it looks like this ^^

it’s only done locally, so it doesn’t change the actual site or anything, and i’m not sure how it’d work when it comes to actually tagging something you’re uploading (aka…probably turn it off if ur doing that) 

but! it’s made it a bit nicer for me to look thru stuff on the site, mostly in the hermitcraft/last life sphere. hope it helps! 

(there’s probably better ways to do this, but this is just what i use :D )
