Concentration was lacking for the young girl as she absently stared out into the sky, mindlessly munching away when suddenly purple had moved into her vision, and she only blinked.
“... Oh! Sorry.” Mei put her bag firmly in her lap, giving the stranger a warm smile. “New here? You’re in Castelia City! Right by the park. Were you gonna go somewhere? I could help!” She emphasizes her sentence with a gentle extension of a donut to the stranger.
Sayo and Celes were wandering along, when a Digital Gate opened up. After a few moments of discussing it, they decided to go through to investigate. Sayo picked up Celes, who went limp to act as a stuffed animal, as to avoid detection in the human world. Digimon were largely unknown, and Sayo didn’t want to cause a panic.
Going through it, however, opened the way to an unfamiliar city. Not one like CITY, but an actual city in an unfamiliar place. There were little monsters walking around with people, but… Her Digivice didn’t recognize them. In fact, it seemed they weren’t even made of data! Frowning down to Celes, she began walking along, glad the Digital Gate was in some alleyway, so it would likely go unnoticed by the people going hurriedly around.
She approached the first person who didn’t seem to be in a rush, some bun haired girl eating donuts on a bench. She opened her mouth, only to have nothing coming out. Squeezing on Celes for support, however, she managed to blurt out a quick “Where am I?”.

semi-hiatus psa!
I thought I should come by and say this!
Reasoning is mainly because I need to put more focus into my work right now, and my schedule has been far too crowded.

Azir splash art and ‘birb father’ jokes aside, I need help.
OK so here’s what’s up.
My parents are old. They really shouldn’t still be working, but they had me and my big sister kinda late and are still supporting us through college and living.
Mum is a teacher and dad used to work for mining software companies and some surverying ones, but despite being really good, he’s old, so to save money they would give his job to younger workers.
He cashed in a favour to a friend and drives one of the airport buses, but that doesn’t have the best income. Mum and Dad recently bought an embroidery business from a friend, to go with the screen printing they do to make a little extra.
It’s been going OK so far, but a typo or other mistake in one of the quotes from the previous owner has really hurt us. We’ll be getting paid virtually nothing for large amounts of time and work.
It might get fixed, but it doesn’t look like that will happen for a while. He needs to earn $800 by the end of the month, profit. Mum was crying when she was explaining to me what would happen, so I couldn’t exactly pick it up. It is probably kinda really bad.
Normally I wouldn’t ask for handouts but I really don’t have much of a choice. I can probably invest $200 of my own money to this, but that’s it. I don’t know what I can provide in return, but if it keeps us off the street, I’ll find something worthwhile to give back. I think.

Nagisa had to sigh, she had no idea where she was going and was going to probably end up embarrassing herself majorly by asking some stranger for help. This was why she needed to prepare while travelling.
What to do, what to do.. Was it wise to ask a stranger for help?
What would her brothers do..
A light sigh, and after making her decision, she ran up to the nearest passerby— a young woman, by the looks of it— and attempted to catch her attention.
“Ah, excuse me! Can you help me?”
The small voice indeed caught her attention-- stopping in her tracks, Mei blinked herself out of her flighty gaze that swept her up whenever she found herself trekking along the bustling streets of the city. Teal eyes examined this stranger heavily and curiously.
“-- Oh! Uh, yeah, what’s up?” A small smile pressed her stuporous expression away, with a cock of her head following.
“You look like you’re not from around here! Lost?”

She blinked, and took a step back. “No, I don’t... Unless you do? I mean--” Mei shook her head. “If it’s that you’re busy, then I get you, don’t even worry about it. Okay?”
He required a few minutes to catch his breath and his wits as Mei made that physical contact. Once he did, he cleared his throat and shook his head abruptly.
"No, no I’ll—I’ll go. I’m just…this is kind of all a bit sudden, isn’t it?"
