Fall from Grace chp1
(so guys this is the AU i mentioned earlier, my swap AU! I hope you like it ^^) “I can’t believe you! I leave you all alone thinking I could entrust you all with such an easy task. Run heaven till I return, and what do I return to? One of my sons was cast into hell for what?! What did he do so badly that you all had to throw him into hell?” Angrily inquired the all-fathering god. His voice boomed through the courts, and many angels and demons coward nervously.
“I know that I am rather foolish and cruel, but I tried to pull back on such punishments. But I come back to this mess! My first fucking man is dead dead, Jesus looks just as angry as I do, you started the fucking exterminations which I explicitly told you not to do without my asking. That was supposed to be the last fucking resort! My highest Seraphim is a traitor along with my sons. Not only that but you threw Emiliana down to hell!” God paced the room while gritting his teeth, even with a cloth and mist covering the upper half of his face all could feel his divine energy become heavy with rage.
“First it was the humans, these stupid petulant humans who are ruining this shit and pinning me for their issues calling me unforgiving and horrific. Now I come back to find you all undermining me!” There was a pause, the deity stopping as he looked at his son, Jesus.
“Jesus.” “Yes, father?” The dark-skinned deity replied looking towards him.
“How do you feel about doing ground Zeroing?” The younger deity looked at him in surprise but shrugged.
“If you feel it is necessary father, then I think so.” He answered, this got a bone-chilling chuckle from the all-powerful being that echoed throughout his chambers. Emily furrowed her brows, hesitantly asking.
“Y-..your g-godliness, pardon i-if this is out of turn but. What i-is ground zeroing?” God grinned, clasping his hands together and he walked to his desk and plopped himself down in his chair.
“No need to fear young one. You’re never out of line.” His voice softened when he spoke to her, the girl still shifted anxiously in her seat while sitting beside Charlie.
“Ground Zero was a code word in case I ever wanted to say, ‘hit restart’. I would restart everything from humankind to the earth.” That seemed to grab everyone’s attention, the archangels looked alarmed.
“G-god s-sir! You can’t possibly be thinking of doing that again, surely? I-it can’t be that bad.” Started Micheal, Gabriel joined in stepping towards the desk.
“Please, Father. you must understand Lucifer was going against everything you stood for, he was going to make a fool out of the hierarchy!” At first, God bit the inside of his cheek and rolled his eyes at his creations who tried to persuade him. “Why punish the humans for this?” Though when this line was uttered by Sera a fist was pounded on the table and the deity’s voice roared.
“SILENCE!” Just as he commanded the room quieted to shrunken church mice. The room became frigid as the god spoke.
“This punishment is not solely for the pathetic human but for the lot of you who thought they could get away with this for any longer. I can’t believe I have to do this but, this seems to be the only way to get it through your incompetent and thick skulls.” With a heavy sigh God looked to Jesus as he saw from the corner of his eye the raised hand he held up slowly.
“Yes, my son?” “If you don’t mind a slight suggestion to your plans, Father…why not add that twist I mentioned to you many moons ago?” There was a second of silence before God’s lips curled into a smile and his aura changed from enraged to eerily calm, almost soothing.
“I’ve always loved the way you think, dear son of mine.” “Shall it be, father?” “It.Shall.”
Before another word could be uttered it happened, the world had leveled, and natural disasters rained in one after another. All are forced to watch Earth be destroyed in a numerous way. Many wondered what this twist would be. Just as Earth had begun to reset everything went black!
The first man still suffered the same fate as before, losing both his partners; his death resulted in a different way of getting into heaven. Being reincarnated as Samael and Lilith’s daughter seemed fine at first. She now had someone to guide her and teach her how to do things. Samael and Lilith agreed to this plan in hopes she would unlearn the habits from her first life with enough love and compassion. She smiled as she ran through the gardens of heaven, bright blue eyes lit up whenever her parents would pick her up. Things seemed to be going well, Gabriel and Eve had taken over hell willingly with the promise of not being locked from heaven but all good things had come to an end.
“Charlie dear, Mommy and I have to go down to earth to handle the things going on down there as well as with the other pantheons. I don’t know how long we will be gone, but we will do our best to keep in touch as much as possible.” Charlie looked up at Samael sadly and held onto him tightly with tears in her eyes as she pleaded for them not to leave her. Gentle handles rubbed her back in an attempt to soothe her.
“I’m so sorry sweetie, I know you don’t like this and I don’t either but, we have to do this to keep things on earth in the right order.” “I don’t wanna be alone again!” She cried breaking Samael’s heart and he sat on the ground pulling her to his chest.
“You will never be alone my little angel, I promise.” They sat for a few minutes as she cried into his chest. Lilith had joined them to help calm her child down.
“You are going to be staying with your uncle Micheal. He’s going to take good care of you for the time being.” Charlie had met Archangel Micheal before, he seemed similar to her father, smiley, telling jokes, and strong. They promised to keep in touch and they shouldn’t be gone long, everything would be okay.
“Goodbye sweetheart, be good for Micheal.” Charlie waved goodbye to her parents sadly as they walked out of the castle. She looked back up at the man beside her.
“No need to worry little princess, I’ll take good care of you.” And he did…..at first.

Sacrificial Lamb
((This takes place leading up to LuciLili's fall. CW description/mention of physical abuse, violence, rape/SA))
Lilith had known there was more to heaven than what meets the eye. Sure it was paradise, but was it really? Sure people were happy but it almost seemed fake, like a façade or drug. People here became ignorant of suffering and pain, some grew arrogant. Some people seem to have their living memories almost erased completely or partially twisting it so only the positive things remain. Lilith was surprised to have her memories intact by now. She still remembered her days in Edan, when she dated Adam, and how she met Samael. She also remembered how God and many of the angels seemed displeased with her choosing Samael over Adam. Yet here she was in heaven living in a castle with her lovely angel.
She knew of his many ideas about testing the humans, she was there when he did it and once again God wasn’t pleased by this but the angels showed a stronger reaction. Taunting Samael, poking and prodding at his ideas and picking them apart until he would become discouraged. He started to keep his ideas to himself in a journal though at the most he would tell Lilith, she would listen to him. She could listen to him ramble for hours, she’d even offer up her own ideas. She did everything with him by choice. That was her favorite reason why she wanted to be with him. He allowed her the opportunity to choose and emphasized it too. He gave her options, knowledge, let her make her own decisions unlike the others. He gave her chances to find herself.
Things began to take a turn when Samael’s journal went missing a day or so ago. Neither of them could find it on their side of the castle, and none of his brothers or the other angels would give a clear answer. With the hopes of it being just misplaced, Samael had to leave to perform one of his duties as an angel of death and seraphim. Of course Lilith was used to this he would never be gone long, at most a week and he would return as long as things went well. Lilith figured that in his absence, she would look for Samael’s journal. This time venturing outside of just their part of the castle.
Of course she had walked through most of it before, this place was still huge and easy to become lost in. Lilith had a feeling with how secretive and forward Micheal had been that she could check his side first. She knew Micheal and Samael never got along, always pushing and shoving Samael around, and writing him off for his ideas. It was almost childish but cruel at the same time, she never understood his reasoning for this either or why Samael never fought back much.
Sifting through piles of paperwork and medals, she found nothing, until she went into his workshop. Lilith was a little surprised at how easily she could get in, usually the door was locked. She walked up to a drawer that was left slightly opened and right there she had found the prized item. Smiling fondly as she ran her fingers over the leather bound book, she hardly noticed a shadow cast over her before everything had gone black.
When Lilith woke up she found herself in a dark room with nothing but a blanket, toilet and a locked door.
“Wh-where am I?” When she tried to get up from the floor she yelped in pain that shot up from her ankle and up her leg. With the limited light she brushed her hands along her body finding many parts swollen and most likely bruised. Thankfully they had left her clothes on, torn sure, but she wasn’t left naked. The real question was who did this and why? Curling up into a corner of the room, she pulled the blanket over her as she thought about it.
She wasn’t left to think for very long when the door opened but the lights stayed off. Footsteps grew louder and louder, the light from the door being left open just barely illuminated the figure’s silhouette. A set of large wings and a crown could be seen adorned by the tall figure that approached. Towering over her the figure finally spoke.
“Oh Miss Lilith, you really thought you were sneaky didn’t you~?” The voice purred out towering above her, something extended towards her, a hand. It grabbed her by the jaw and cheeks squeezing firmly.
“Nosy filthy human tainted by my devious brother’s thoughts, we can’t have that, and I’m sure you’re not too far gone.” Lilith recognized that voice, pushing his hand away she called out.
“Micheal?” “Oh you do recognize me, good.” Micheals grip tightened around her face almost in a crushing way.
“What the fuck are you doing Micheal?!” “Just having a little fun with my experiment is all.” She hissed out as Micheal’s nails dug into her flesh, blood dripping down from the indents. He pulled her forwards and then slammed her head back into the concrete behind her. Feeling her brain bounce against her skull from the collision her entire body went into a shocked state. Momentarily blacking out as Micheal got on top of her, these black outs only gave her frame like images of what he was doing.
On second the sound of fabric, the next Micheal’s body leaned over her, until nothing.
She didn’t know how long she had been out for when she had woken up but when she did she woke up to her name being called. Once again seeing a figure standing over her, she didn’t move nor make a sound until she could recognize the voice. Her head was pounding, while the rest of her body ached from who knows what Micheal had done to her.
“Wake up, you better not be dead!” The voice commanded impatiently, her mind too fuzzy to register the figure reaching for her before it was too late. A large hand tangled itself into her hair and yanked her up from her curled up state. She let out a yelp as her eyes flashed open wide.
“I knew you were awake, now eat.” A tray of something was dropped into her lap with a clank and clattering noise. The figure walked off without a word, leaving Lilith to her own devices. At this point food was food and she didn’t want to know the consequences of not eating it. These people seemed keen on punishing her in any way they see fit. Even with her concussion wanting to force the food from her body, she swallowed it all down cause who knows when she’ll be able to eat again.
As she ate she wondered why she was even here, what was Micheal’s reasoning for this, what did they plan to do with her? How long would they keep her, how long would it take for Samael to notice? Would he go looking for her? Once she finished what she had been given she got up to explore the room. Much to her body’s protests she made it unsteadily to her feet that ached and burned for her to sit back down. Staggering around there was barely anything to see, only a small rectangular cell window that didn’t let in much light. The door was reinforced and locked, beside that there wasn’t anything in the room. The muscles in her legs trembled harshly struggling to hold her weight, not even giving her the chance to get back to her corner; they faltered and she fell to her knees. In the end she crawled towards the blanket corner.
Not knowing when day or night had come, Lilith hardly slept, only slipping into unconsciousness when her body took charge. They provided food every other day as well as questioning her on her beliefs. From the way they went out about it, it was like they were trying to condition her to answer a certain way. A slap or hit would come her way any time she answered in a way they disliked. If she refused to go along with their conditioning things would get harsher. They’d beat her until her body was littered with red hand prints, blood and bruises.
When Samael had returned to the castle he felt that something was off, all was quiet. Too quiet, too calm, and he couldn’t find Lilith anywhere! He went through their room, the courtyard, library, kitchen, she was nowhere to be seen. Just as he was coming back to the front of the castle his presence was requested in the courtroom immediately. Confusedly he hurried to the courts where he walked in to see many angels sitting in waiting and for a spotlight to shine on him.
“And here I present to you the traitor who plans to demolish your freedoms!” Shielding himself from the blinding lights as he stepped inside, he got a glimpse of Micheal in the stands holding his book.
“This disgusting man has been planning to throw away your paradises all to let some lowly wretches take over. He’s already introduced sin amongst the mortals against God’s commands, and he’s brainwashed one of the mortals he claims to love.” Samael furrowed his brows as he approached.
“You took my journal!” “Of course someone had to see what diabolical things you were planning in secret!” “I never claimed to take anyone’s paradise from them, I only want to put a more organized system into hell. Its utter chaos down there and is overpopulated. Redemption wouldn’t be allowing just anyone in!” “Yet you never consulted anyone besides a select group of people to convince them of your dangerous ideas. You preyed upon those you knew would agree with you and took advantage of it.”
“What are you talking about?” “Don’t play stupid with us brother!” Shouted Gabriel from the stands joining Michael. “We’ve already prepared those traitors for banishment as they seem too far gone. Though they provided us with enough evidence.” Samael knew who his brothers were talking about, he had been talking with a few other high ranking angels about his plans for hell. He thought he was doing a better job at this than he currently was. Then he remembered they mentioned ‘one of the mortals he claimed to love’…Lilith!
“Where is Lilith!?” A wide grin spread over Michael’s face, with a wave of his hand a guard brought out Lilith and what he saw filled Lucifer with an overwhelming rage. Even with her being 6’7 he saw the way Lilith shrunk and trembled under their grasp. Legs shaking, eyes wide and frantic as she was brought down to the center by the guards. Lucifer tried to run to her but was grabbed and restrained by another set of them.
“Oh look at the poor thing, she’s just terrified Samael~” Michael taunted, Lucifer called out to Lilith who didn’t fight the guard’s hold.
“You brainwashed the woman you claim to love, and it all started when a snake entered the garden.”
“Lilith! What the fuck did you do to her?!” Lucifer yelled out, Gabriel shrugged while folding his arms over his chest.
“Oh nothing but did our best to rid her of your pesky control. Isn’t that right dear?” Lucifer looked at Lilith, her hair messily fell over her face, she didn’t respond, didn’t even nod or shake her head. Nothing. He could sense her fear, she only grew quiet like this when she was afraid.
“Alright that is enough” Sounded Sera as she sat down in her seat.
“I’ve looked over everything, and thought it all over and I’m sorry to say Samael Lucifer, but we can not allow you to stay here in heaven. That goes for you and anyone else who stands with him.” The guards started to pull Lucifer back leaving Lilith in the courts while he fought against their hold.
Lilith let out an ear piercing shriek, reaching out for him. Using what strength she had to run to him. As she ran bruises, cuts and blood began to appear along her body. Her hair soaked in blood as she tried to cling onto Lucifer. The guards tried to separate them again but Lilith wouldn’t let them
“NO no no! Don’t please!” She held onto him as she pleaded for them to stop. Lucifer tried to reach for her, seeing her body littered with injuries fueled his anger that was boiling beneath the surface.
“Lilith.” Sera’s voice boomed, everyone froze and looked to the high Seraphim.
“Are you saying you want to stay with Lucifer? Knowing you will be exiled from heaven and meet the same fate if not worse?” Lilith nodded meekly as tears ran down her face, Lucifer shook his head. Yes he loved Lilith with every part of him but, he couldn’t ask her to fall with him. It could kill her, he knew it would kill her!
“No Lilith please, don’t I-I can’t ask you to do that. You don’t deserve this.” Lilith held onto Lucifer giving a soft squeeze as she shakily sighed.
“I choose to stay with Lucifer. He was the only one to give me that right from the beginning of time. He gave me choices, he taught me how to be my own person. He taught me and showed me love, compassion, and much more. I love him by choice. No amount of beating me senseless could change it, no amount of defiling my body could change that!”
“L-Liith-” Lucifer hesitated, but he let her finish.
“From the garden of Edan, to heaven or hell, I chose to stay by his side. Till death do us part I will always choose him.”
“Then it shall be.” The guards backed away as the floor opened up and the two began to fall. The sky changed from blue to red the farther they fell. Lucifer tried to catch Lilith to take most of the impact but he couldn’t grab her before it was too late. Many other angels fell from heaven colliding into the ground like an asteroid to the earth. Immediately Lucifer looked for Lilith and crawled to her.
“Lilith, lilith wake up! Please! Wake up!” Feeling for her pulse he felt his heart sink to his stomach when there was no soft thumping of her blood circulating. Picking up her body he pressed his ear to her chest hoping she was still alive. It was there but just barely audible at this point.
“LUCIFER WATCH OUT!” Calling out one of the fallen, Lucifer looked over his shoulder to see a large spear coming towards him. At the last second he looked away and flashed his wings out to shield Lilith from the attack.
“GET UNDER ME NOW!” He commanded, for those who could walk, they gathered their brethren and made haste to get behind the wings of Lucifer. The blond grit his teeth as he felt the first spear sink into his wings, knowing there were more to come. Each spear and blast of a gun made the ground shake but Lucifer remained unmoving in his efforts. Each hit angered him more and more and when he looked back at Lilith something in him snapped! Those people who claim to want the best for those in heaven, who preached good nature and virtues were the ones to hurt him the worst by hurting his beloved to the point of death. He lost the one person who loved him the most.
The group watched as Lucifer’s angelic form changed demonic, Large red horns sprouted from his head a flicker of fire between them, eyes changing from a bright sky blue to crimson and filled with vengeance. Claws, sharp teeth and a long arrow tip demon tail came in. His wings grew in size. With a swift turn of his head a blazing inferno blasted from his mouth towards the army. He didn’t care what they threw at him, he wasn't going to go down easy.
It was long, hard, Lucifer knew they would fight until they killed him or ran out of people. He didn’t know how much more he could keep this up but he couldn’t stop. He couldn’t, not now, not until they were gone.
“L-Lucifer?” Lilith’s voice called out, she looked up to see the seraphim hunched over her body tears and golden blood dripping down. She saw the spears and daggers impaling him. She could feel him shaking, desperately clinging onto consciousness. The energy of Lucifer’s anger and will power began to transfer to her own body with the blink of an eye she rose to the sky like a phoenix, hair moving like fire and she held the fallen angel in her arms. His body is now going limp into her.
“LOOK AT WHAT YOU’VE DONE” “HE’S GONE! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE THE MAN YOU SEEM TO HATE SO MUCH IS GONE REPLACED BY THE MONSTER YOU MADE HIM TO BE!”
She screamed clutching his body closer as she looked up at the hoard above her. Another spear came hurtling towards them, without thinking her voice came out belting detouring the arrows blocking them like a shield pushing the group back into heaven. When the angels had left Lilith slowly sunk to the ground holding Lucifer in her arms as she cried. His wings arched over them in a last ditch protective act. Her energy transferred back to the ex-seraphim who’s eyes lazily opened to her clinging to him with her last breath.
“I love you, my Lili flower.” The demon king’s voice was quiet and hoarse as he looked into Lilith's violet eyes. The human woman looked up at him as blood poured from her scalp down her face, some mixing with Lucifer’s golden blood.
“I-I love you too, Lucifer…m-my angel.” They sealed their fate with a kiss.

So since I've gotten some feed back on my last story (Betrayal beyond Repair) my fallen Emily AU, I'll give a lil bit of an explanation as to where i might be taking this story. I have a swap AU story I'm in the process of working on, I've just been too shy to post it (i'm a perfectionist lol). Where it mainly follows Charlie as she now takes on Adam's role. the story follows after Emily's fall (from my previous story) where God returns and he is not happy and decides he's going to hit the reset button again. here's the swaps Charlie replaces Adam and is the princess of heaven Making Adam the prince of Hell (they do swap personalities as well but I try to add a little more to them)) Lute and Vaggie swap of course, Vaggie is not only the second in command to the exorcists but is Charlie's guard. While lute is the one who gets left behind in hell, and Adam takes her in. Lucifer and Gabriel swap(i know Gabriel isn't a canon thing in this story...i'm getting biblical here) In this story Lucifer will mainly go by Samael and doesn't show up much in this story. Gabriel takes on canon Lucifer's roll with his wife being Eve while Lilith is still with Samael. The reason for Samael & Lilith not being around is for the plot. (which I'm not good at explaining)
Vox & Alastor switch (no duh) Angel and Valentino switch As well as Nifty and Velvette switch (honestly i think this is the hilarious idea. I might change nifty's name to Ashlyn or something with an A bc....it'd be the A's and not the V's) and Of course Emily and Sera swap but Emily is still trying to keep things balanced she doesn't want things to happen like last time.
I might also dive into Adam and Gabriel's relationship, idk. Also Adam's name is shortened from the name Adematres....bc I'm sorry who looked down and just names their kid "Adam" as just their name.
If you'd like more info on this story or about certain characters, feel free to ask.

Betrayal Beyond Repair pt 3
(Final part of this story, I hope you've all enjoyed it so far. CW mention of rape, violence, and fire)
Emily continued to get used to her new home, it was still hard to accept but she was doing better. Her body had healed up enough for her to start going out. So the group would often spend their outings going shopping. Buying new clothes and things for her room, and in return she would help around the hotel. Cleaning, cooking as well as anything else that needed to be done.
She had done away with her heavenly princess attire by now, dressing in much darker clothes most times. Her halo had disappeared and changed into two small floating horns. The ends of her hair had blackened, as did the color of her forearms to her fingertips, while her wings had disappeared. It took some adjusting but she was starting to enjoy her time with everyone.
It was a late night, Emily had been convinced by Cherri and the others to go to an arcade and bar. They could respect that Emily wasn’t a big drinker but she wasn’t going to pass up on going to an arcade. No one in the bar seemed to notice or care that Emily was there which was good. She spent most of her time playing the games. Of course she tried a drink here or there, but nothing extreme. Just as she sat down with her collection of tickets she could use to buy a soda Cherri sat beside her.
“How ya doing girl? You look like ya havn’ fun!” Emily nodded showing her her bucket of tickets.
“Oh yeah I got a whole lot of these, gonna see if I can get the big plush up there by the end.” “That’s awesome! Ah say, you know Sirpentious right?” Emily nodded as she sipped on her drink.
“How’s he doing by the way? I know its been a bit since ya been up there but, I still wanna know.” “Oh he’s doing great, he told me so much about you, he hardly talks about much else beside you, his inventions and his lil egg boys.” “That’s good, I hope he’s okay now, i know its not easy for him to talk with new people.” “Yeah, honestly if I hadn’t befriended him, I wouldn’t be here. I’d probably be dead, I hope they don’t hurt him.” That made Cherri pause
“Wait what?” Emily smiled sheepishly trying to brush it off.
“Sorry I didn’t mean to get all serious on you, what I meant was he’s a real nice guy.” “No no, back it up, what happened, I know ya got kicked off the cloud n all but, what’s that gotta do with my lil snake?” Emily sighed and explained everything.
“Sirpentious and I became great friends and he’d tell me all about this place, and I’d talk about how I wanted to help with redemption ya know. Of course we’d talk about much more casual things but, Sera didn’t like that I was spending any time around him. He gave me directions on how to get through the pride ring safely for ‘just in case’ purposes….He also told me to tell you that he misses you.” Cherri looked wide eyed at Emily and smiled downing her drink.
“Well they better not hurt him, he ain’t done nothing and neither did you.”
Angel came running over to the girls holding his phone.
“We gotta get outta here now!” “What, why, Angie, what's wrong? Did that freaky moth find ya?” Asked Cherri Nonchalantly, Angel grabbed her by the arm and pulled her off the stool along with emily.
“No, worse. I’ll explain outside but we have to get outta here!” Cherri knew the ex mafia man was serious when he said ‘worse’, hustling out of the bar Angel started going what he knew as the back way.
“We gotta get to the hotel now!” “The fuck is happening, Angie? Why are we going this route?” “Some exorcists are attacking the hotel!” “WHAT!?!” Emily and Cherri yelled out in unison.
“Yeah I got a weird text from Nifty say’n ‘the angels are back for revenge’. She sent me a picture too” He flashed his phone showing a picture of a guild of exorcists turning the place upside down. This had them all hurrying their pace.
“Why in Satan’s left nut sack are they back for? Is it bc lil bug killed their leader and Vaggie cut off that one bitch’s arm?” “I don’t know but it ain’t good!”
The closer they got the louder the noise got and the more worried they became wondering why the exorcists were here. It had only been a few months since their last extermination unless they were doing it early again! When they arrived they went in through the back way since exorcists were most likely blocking the main entrance. The ground shook like a war zone, yelling, crashing, screams, and much more echoed through the lot.
Making their way inside everything was a mess, furniture being thrown left and right or being used as a barricade. Charlie, Alastor and Vaggie seemed to be manning down the fight, more of the angels were down than demons. This didn’t stop Cherri from throwing one of her bombs to grant the three a distraction long enough to regroup. The bomb sent many of the angels flying back. Just out of the corner of her eye Emily saw an exorcist grab Nifty. She didn’t know what did it but something in her snapped. Without a second thought her sword materialized into her hands and she charged! Impaling the angel, right through the stomach. A dark purple aura that erupted into an inferno as she yelled out.
“LET GO OF MY FRIENDS!” The demons in the room looked over in shock, the floating horns grew larger, her eyes turned completely violet, the eye at the center of her chest changed to reflect the fire. Her nails sharpened while her body turned almost ghost-like translucent. Her shirt ripped open revealing a stomach mouth which had multiple sharp teeth. Her screams were that of a banshee. Pulling her sword out of the now dead exorcists she turned to the others who survived the blast and growled out.
“WHO THE FUCK IS NEXT?!”
Many of the angels seemed to back down as she stepped towards them. The only one to approach was Lute, new arm and all.
“Come with us.” The lieutenant demanded, Emily sneered at her, readjusting her grip on her sword.
“Why the fuck would I do that?” “I’ve been sent down here with orders to bring you back. Now come with us.” “From who?” “Sera” “No fucking way I believe that shit, if she wants me that bitch can come down herself.” “Don’t you wanna see your sister? Anyone would jump at the chance for this. She wants to see you,” At first Emily’s eyes softened, she still missed her sister, she missed her old life. She wanted to believe this was her chance.
“Now come on, she’s waiting for you. And I know damn well you don’t really wanna be stuck down here with these freaks. They’ve already infected your mind and we don’t need you falling into their hands anymore than you already have.” This seemed to tick Emily off, she readjusted her grip on her sword as her expression went cold.
“If my sister loved me shouldn’t have put me down here in the first place. And these ‘freaks’ have been much kinder than any of you or the others up in heaven have ever been.” The more she talked the brighter the fire burnered, trails of it slithered towards the silver haired leader making her step back.
“Go tell that traitor that if she wants me back she’d better beg on her knees herself.” Emily finished by holding the tip of her sword towards Lute’s neck. Lute called off the group and they retreated back to the skies once again. As they left Emily began to calm down, going back to her ‘original’ form and looking around at the damage.
“They caused all this trouble just to get me back?” “Yeah they did” Replied Vaggie as she carefully approached, Emily pushed back her hair as the adrenaline began to fade and her emotions mixed.
“I’m so sorry. You guys didn’t need to be dragged into this, you just got this place fixed up.” She apologized, while the others gathered themselves.
“It's alright, you didn’t know they’d do that. But wow I didn’t know you could do that, Em!” Charlie exclaimed proudly, Emily huffed as the fire dimmed and had extinguished itself.
“I didn’t either, something inside me snapped I guess.” Without missing a beat Lucifer came flying in.
“Shit shit! Shit sorry I’m late what the fuck happened, is everyone alright?” His questions flew just as fast as he did.
“We’re mostly alright, dad, a few scratches and cuts but I think we’ll be alright. The exorcists came to bring Emily back. Because she was out with Angel-Dust and Cherri, they thought we were hiding her. Though she managed to scare them all off when she got back.” An angry expression flashed on his face as he grabbed his phone.
“D-dad what are you doing?” Charlie inquired, Lucifer held up a finger gesturing for her to wait. Punching in numbers on the keypad there was a dialing noise and a “What do you want lucifer” Before the king went off.
“Listen here Sera there’s an agreement set in place last time I checked you 1 leave hell borns alone and 2 not vengeance calls. Now why in the fuck did I just come to the hotel a wreck because you put your exorcists up on a seek and destroy mission to get Emily! If you want her to come and get her yourself, you piss poor excuse for a sister!” And with that he hung up, the room was pin drop silent as Lucifer whipped his hand around to fix up the hotel with his magic.
“There, now I should be expecting some news either tomorrow or sometime this week.”
Well he wasn’t wrong as now Emily was getting ready for a meeting in hell only a few days since the storming. She couldn’t shake this feeling in her stomach, was Sera really coming down here to get her back? Why was she doing this? Did she even want to go back? Sure heaven was her original home, the place she had grown up in, and she didn’t know anything else but. What if she didn’t want to leave hell? Sure she’d definitely miss Sirpentious but its obvious he’d know what had happened by now.
“You ready, Em?” Asked Charlie, Emily nodded, grateful she didn’t have to attend this meeting alone even if Lucifer was in charge. Charlie and Vaggie had put in just as much work to help her adjust. She also took the polar bear plush with her, she hardly left without it since it had become a source of comfort for her. Of course it was named peppermint.
Arriving at the castle, Emily wasn’t sure Sera would even show up. Though when the portal from heaven opened in the meeting room she adjusted herself in her seat, hiding peppermint in her lap giving him a gentle squeeze.
“Apologies if I’m late, I had to organize a few things before leaving.” The woman stated softly while taking her seat, another angel beside her as an escort.
“No worries, Sera, glad you could make it.” Replied Lucifer, tipping his hat in acknowledgement.
“Let's get this meeting going shall we, so Sera you sent a group of exorcists down here to bring Emily back. May I ask why?”
“I realized I had made a major mistake and misstep in how I went about things. And I wanted to apologize.” Sera answered hesitantly, Lucifer raised a brow at this and continued his questioning.
“Oh and what would that be?” But Sera couldn’t answer instead she dodged.
“I shouldn’t have done it, and as her sister I’m sorry.” “That’s not what I asked, Sera.” Lucifer stated firmly, he knew she was dodging him and pressed for her true reasoning.
“I think it's only fair for you to fully admit to your wrong doings if you’re trying to ask for forgiveness. You wouldn’t come all this way just for a quick ‘i’m sorry’, and I’m sure you know what you’ve done.” The high Seraphim shifted in her seat clearing her throat, nodding.
“R-right of course, ahem. I shouldn’t have gone through your room and your journal nor should I have accused you of endangering heaven’s people, E-Emiliana. It was wrong, I’m deeply sorry.” Emily’s lips pressed into a thin line, Sera hardly used her full name, the only one who was ever allowed to use it was God. She never let anyone else call her that and Sera knew that. There was a hint of insincerity in her voice almost as if she had rehearsed this.
“What’s wrong Emily?” “Sera….why are you really apologizing?” Sera seemed taken aback by Emily’s sharp tone, her eyes narrowed as if she’d burn a hole into her soul. A nervous sounding chuckle came from Sera.
“Wh-what do you mean, I-” “Are you truly sorry for what you put me through or are you doing this to save face?” Emily interrupted coldly.
“No no, I really am sorry, Emily, please I-I know what I did was-was a little extreme-” “A little?!” Everyone in the room jolted at the young seraphim’s abrupt exclaims.
“You chained me in the meeting room while you refused to listen to me, denounced our relationship, and allowed for the others to assault me out of heaven. Do you have any idea what they did to me before they tossed me down like trash?”
“W-we didn’t want you trying to make your way back up, I didn’t think they’d go so far-”
“Of course you didn’t think Sera, you take all of the responsibility claiming I’m too naive to handle things when I don't even know how things work! I was beaten, stabbed, my clothes were ripped, my wings were mangled, I was touched. By the time it was a miracle a kind overlord found me when he did. I could have died Sera. You left me for dead!” Her hand balled into a fist onto the table as she stood up.
“If you expect me to accept a measly ‘i’m sorry’ from you, then you are painfully mistaken and more of an idiot than I thought you were.”
“Please Emily, didn’t mean for any of it to happen, I didn’t mean any of what I said.” Sera pleaded, reaching out a hand towards Emily. The fallen angel shook her head pulling her hand away and asked.
“I’ll ask again, Seraphiana, are you going to such lengths to give some smidgen of an apology?” As this question came out the violet colored fire began to appear as did the horns from the day prior. Sera leaned back in her seat and the escort angel got in front of her. Charlie contemplated calming Emily but Lucifer shook his head at her and motioned for her and Vaggie to step back in precaution.
“Well. I…” “Out with it.” Emily hissed, almost shaking in anger.
“Calm down my child” A booming voice called out, everyone froze and looked to find the source of the noise.
“Lucifer my son, place your phone on the table, please” Lucifer quickly pulled out his cellphone and placed it on the table confusedly.
“F-Father?” He inquired with a raised brow.
“Yes son, it is I your father. Sorry to intrude in so suddenly and through your phone of all things but, when I got word of this I had to tap in some how.”
“I-its quite alright father, wait…Are you back?”
“Yes I am, sorry for such a long absence, but now that I’m in a better place to hear everything. I will say, "I expect you all in my office at once!” Now everyone one scared.

Betrayal Beyond Repair pt2
(CW mild description of injuries, nightmares, and panic attacks
“Sera? Why did you tell me to come to the meeting room?” Emily asked as she opened the door.
“Close the door behind you.” Sera’s cold voice demanded, Emily nodded and quickly did as told before turning to see the room filled with multiple high ranking angels. Without even a second to speak a set of handcuffs were materialized around her wrist and chained her to the table in the center of the room.
“S-Sera what’s happening?!” She asked with fear filling her words as she shrunk under the many eyes glaring down at her.
“You have been putting your nose where it does not belong and spreading dangerous ideas among the public. That is why you are here.” Her journal appeared on the table before them all, had she gone through it again?
“You went through my journal again, Sera? Wasn’t one time enough?” “So you admit you had secrets to keep?” “I-I was frustrated, its what I do, I write my feelings and things I need to think about in. Y-you know this Sera” Emily whimpered out as the high Seraphim stared down at her.
“You have been going around and pulling for information about the exterminations and heaven’s ways. Your ideas not only go against it but are dangerous for those who want to keep their paradise. This is heaven, they had many times during their lives to fix themselves yet they chose to continue to live in sin. You do not get to decide who stays and goes.”
“You don’t even know what gets a soul into heaven!” Emily shouted back.
“My thoughts and ideas may be childish but am I wrong? You saw during the trial no one knew what gets a soul into heaven! So how sure are we, and look at the people! They are blind, you are keeping things from them! This place is supposed to be perfect, but perfection does not exist!”
“Emily. You get those ideas from the slimy snake man, the one who is supposedly redeemed. A man who has most likely murdered many during his life and done horrific things, yet you question why ones like him should be in hell.”
“Sirpentious is a wonderful man, he is sweet, and he talks about his inventions and his girlfriend. Sure i may not know everything he’s ever done but, what matters now is that the system works. Redemption is what was intended-”
“Emily-”
“Sera, think, if that were not the case he would not have made it no matter his efforts.” The girl pleaded with hope in her eyes, the angels of the court seemed to be on the fence with their expression.
“So you think we can just let anyone say they want redemption and allow them in? How do you know their efforts are genuine, how do you know they aren’t trying to infiltrate? If you are so close with this man that he’s comfortable bringing up his girlfriend who is a sinner much like him, how do you know this isn’t their plan?”
“Because you make decisions without consulting anyone. You don’t bother to ask questions” “Because I shouldn't have to ask questions, questioning is what gets you into dangerous situations. I believe in what is right and as to the others and letting these folk in on groundless bases when they could revert anytime they want is insane. Putting many of those who got here due to pure nature and good well beings on the first try. That is selfish and insane!”
“Sera please, you see it has worked, and we’ve kept a close eye on him. Why wont you believe me-”
“Honestly Emiliana I expected better from you! To so easily go against us and allow a sinner to taint your thoughts…maybe its better that you join those you want to “help” so much.” Emily’s eyes went wide as she knew what her sister was implying, shaking her head she begged for Sera to listen to her. Even as the guards unchained her from the table and dragged her away.
She screamed, thrashing and kicking from the battle angel’s grip. With a lash ditch effort she bolted towards Sera with tears running down her face crying for another chance.
“Please Sera, please! I won't say anything, I won't talk with Sirpentious, I’ll do anything just please! Please don’t let them hurt me, sister! Please Sera, don't do this!” Sera stood from her seat and walked over to the princess and replied coldly.
“As of now you are no longer, my sister.” A hand yanked Emily by her hair out of the room as she screamed out.
“SERA PLEASE!”
“Emily! Emily wakes up. Wake up!” Her eyes shot open while she continued to plead to be left unharmed.
“Ey ey, it's okay, you’re safe Emily” The bedside light clicked on revealing Charlie and Vaggie being the ones calling her name.
“Another nightmare?” Charlie asked while sitting on the end of the bed, Emily nodded and apologized for waking them.
“It's okay, we were already going to check on you and got worried when we heard crying.” Charlie reassured, Vaggie suggested having a bath, of course Emily couldn’t do it herself, still too weak. In the bathroom once she was undressed Vaggie and Charlie felt their hearts tear apart as they saw the still healing injuries exposed once the bandages came off. Multiple stab wounds, gashes, bruises, and claw marks. Her wings were shredded badly with many scars along her back.
Denial had set into Emily’s mind quickly, she couldn’t believe her sister would do this. That she would allow for her to be harmed to this extent and to be thrown into hell almost left for dead! The very person she trusted for this long put her through this all because she started to question things. Things that Sera hardly ever answered or shut down.
“why?….Why would she do this?” Her hoarse voice quivered out as she wiped away tears.
“I’m sorry this happened, Emily.” “Sh-she even denounced me as her sister right b-before th-they…they…” The lump in her throat choked her up, though Charlie and Vaggie knew what she was trying to say.
“Well, Emily, you’re welcome here for as long as you’d like.” Charlie smiled while preparing to take Emily back into the bedroom.
“Y-you sure?” “Yes, I’m sure, you’re not the first angel who’s been thrown down here.” Vaggie added as she helped Emily to her feet changing into a new set of clothes. Emily gave a grateful smile to their aid and kindness while also silently thanking Sirpentious for the directions of how to get into Pride's city.
“You won't ever be alone, Emily, we’re here to help you anyway we can.”
Looking in the mirror her hands combing through her freshly washed hair, happy to finally have all of the blood out of it. Still with some of it singed or cut in some places she needed to fix it. Going through a drawer she found a pair of scissors and started cutting away at her hair until it reached her neck. Taking some of the layers away revealed a small set of horns. She was surprised to see there wasn’t much of a change to her appearance by now, maybe for some it wasn’t immediate?
It was freeing to not have so much hair for once.
A couple more days went by and Emily still struggled to accept her fate yet she started to grow comfortable around those in the hotel little by little. She would often listen to Husk tell stories about sinners or about living world things or share music between her and Angel-Dust. Angel-Dust was a little surprised she liked his taste in music. Thankfully by now Nifty had gone off her murdering-angels-frenzy and would sometimes introduce Emily to movies she liked when she wasn’t cleaning.
Lucifer had been keeping an eye on the girl and had Charlie keep him updated on how she was doing. He knew just how jarring it could be to casted from heaven especially in such a violent manner. She told him about the nightmares Emily would have almost nightly but besides that she seemed to be adjusting better than expected.
“Emily, may I talk with you?” Lucifer asked while pardoning himself from interrupting Emily and Angel's music exchange. Emily nodded with a smile and followed him through a portal that led to his castle. Inviting her into his office and through the balcony.
“Would you like something to drink?” He asked, Emily settled herself in a chair while she looked up at the sky.
“Do you have frozen hot chocolate?” With a snap of his fingers he materialized a cup at the girl’s request.
“Thank you, so um…King Lucifer what did you want to talk about?” She inquired, Lucifer gave a soft chuckle replying with.
“Oh ouch Emily I didn’t think you’d call me that, I thought we were friends” His voice filled with playfulness as he feigned hurt. This got a giggle out of her while he continued.
“You can just call me Lucifer, Emily, no need for formalities.” He strutted closer observing her body gently.
“Well first I’m going to ask how you’ve been doing, I see you’re healing rather well. I was worried for a while, your injuries were horrific!”
“Yeah it still hurts a bit in certain places but, much better than before.” She gave a grateful smile to him as she sipped on her drink.
“Another thing I wanted to ask, how have you been doing? I know it can be hard to cope with being down here.” He backed up leaning against the balcony railing. Emily gave a small shrug at this.
“I’m fine I guess, just getting used to it.” Lucifer raised a brow at this but went along with it.
“Ya know, when I first ended up down here with Lilith, I had nightmares every single night for months almost years. I couldn’t fully believe they had even done it either.” Emily nodded along attentively as he spoke.
“It got to a point where I would be too afraid to sleep or leave the castle…Sometimes I often view this place as my eternal punishment that I deserved. The memory of them holding my dear Lilith from me, trying to convince her that I had poisoned her mind, and to try and see the light. To say I was furious was an understatement.” He dryly chuckled at the end as he looked up at the sky seeing the glowing ball that was heaven.
“L…Lucifer…if you had a chance to go back, would you?”
“Well…if you asked me a couple hundred or so years ago, I’d say ‘yes’ without a doubt, I’d leave this all behind for heaven in an instant … .but now…I wouldn’t trade a thing for that place. I may not exactly like my job down here but. I have found ways to make it more than bearable…” Turning back to Emily he returned the question.
“Would you?” There was a moment of silence and then a sigh.
“I-I don’t know. Of course…I miss my home, I miss what I had there, I miss the familiarity. I just now that I see what they’ve been doing. I just can’t stand for what they do or want.”
“I understand, you want what’s supposed to be your home but now it doesn’t feel like home anymore.”
“Yeah, exactly…and I-I still can’t believe Sera organized it all and the things she said.” Her voice wobbled and cracked as the memories from her dreams and the day they had exiled her came flooding in. She held onto her cup tightly, her eyes all though teary looked empty yet filled with hurt at the same time. She hadn't even noticed she was starting to hyperventilate as she stammered. Lucifer made haste to pull her to his chest, wrapping his arms around her and rubbing small circles into her back. He could feel her entire body turn ice cold, shaking like a leaf in the wind.
“Hey now, it's alright Emily. No one’s going to hurt you, I know you’re scared. I’m right here, I’ve got you.” He took the cup from her hands and placed it on a small table beside her, this freed her hands enough for her to hold onto him tightly as she cried.
“Why why why, why would she do this? Why would she hurt me? What did I do to deserve this?” Lucifer frowned as he listened to the heavenly princess’s sobs.
“You did nothing wrong Emily. You didn’t deserve what happened to you.” He reassured softly, Lucifer hated to see her like this. He remembered how cheerful and full of life she used to be. He remembered when she was small, she would run up to him and show him any drawings she used to make. He always cherished them too, he saw her like a daughter, she was so similar to Charlie it felt like he was holding his own daughter in his arms.
After a minute he started to hum a soft song he used to sing to Charlie when she was small. Rocking side to side while he hummed slowly, Lucifer stayed like this until he was sure she was breathing better.
“You will never be alone Emily, you will find yourself again, and you will have people there to help you.”
Just as Lucifer pulled away he magicked up a polar bear plush into Emily’s arms that gave a soft smell of peppermint.
“I know how much you like winter, so I thought you’d like this.” Looking down and seeing the teddy bear in her arms, she cracked a smile and hugged the plush noticing the scent added to it.
“Thank you, Lucifer.” “Any time, Emily.”

Betrayal Beyond Repair pt 1
(this is a Fallen Emily AU hazbin fic. CW mention & description of violent injuries including blood )
“Miss Emily, is everything alright?” “Huh?” The snake gave a soft smile to the young seraphim and repeated his question. The girl straightened up her slouched stature and nodded quickly.
“Yes yes, ev-everything is fine, Sirpentious.” She tried to muster a smile but the snake was unconvinced and reached out a gentle over hers.
“You’ve been spacing out and you haven’t been yourself as of lately. I may not know you well but, I pay attention.” Emily blushes a little realizing she had been letting her guard down enough for the new winner to notice. She didn’t know whether to tell him or not, would he even care? It truly wasn’t that bad, he didn’t need to know. Shaking her head she tried once more to convince him nothing was wrong but the tears that fell didn’t help her case.
“Miss Emily, please, you’ve done so much for me since I arrived, it's only fair that I return this favor.” Emily knew she couldn’t get out of it and sighed shakily.
“….ever since the trial that exposed the exterminations. I’ve tried to understand Sera’s reasoning…but I never truly did. I’ve tried convincing her that it needs to end and there is a much better way to go about this but she hasn’t been listening.” Sirpentious nodded along with a sympathetic look.
“I have a journal that I write in when I get frustrated or don’t know what to do. Sera’s never went through it before…until now.” Curiosity filled Sirpentious wondering where this was going even though he had a feeling that he already knew.
“She went through it, and screamed at me for my ‘foolish and childish’ ideas. Called me selfish and…other things.” Brushing a lock of hair covering her neck she shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Sirpentious looked wide-eyed at her, he knew Sera had issues but he never guessed she would do something like that to someone whom she considered her sister.
“Oh Miss Emily, I’m so sorry.” “I-it…it’ll be okay Sirpentious, I-I probably am just out of line or something. I shouldn’t involve you in this.” Pentious took her hands in his gingerly rubbing his thumb over the top of her hand.
“No, you didn’t deserve that. She shouldn’t have done that. I’m sure your ideas are amazing.” “A-are you sure?” “Yes, I am dear. Now listen carefully” Sirpentious pulled the girl close, at first Emily was confused until she realized he was telling her what to do if she ever found herself kicked from heaven. She heavily doubted it would ever happen, she was a high Seraphim like her sister. Sure Sera had harshly humiliated her but, she wouldn’t go that far would she? It wouldn’t hurt to keep everything the man said in mind though…just in case.
And it was good that she did.
She didn’t even remember how she ended up in hell but, one minute she was in heaven the next she was lying in the red dirt of hell. She didn’t even know where in hell she was since she didn’t know much about the place. All she could see was red, and her own blood. It took several attempts to gather the strength to get to her feet. She remembered Sirpentious’s instructions though. Either find the kindest overlord or the hotel, tell them who sent you and never look back. Even though she didn’t know where she was going, she started her walk into the pride ring. Of course, she garnered many stares from the sinners. Many only saw angels on extermination day, so most looked wary or not fond of her presence, to put it mildly.
Limping along the sidewalk golden blood trailed behind her along with a troop of sinners who looked ready to attack at any second. She didn’t care, too focused on finding someone who could help before her body gave out. Each step sent a shock wave of searing white-hot pain through her. She could feel certain bones crunching and crackling, she could taste the blood, and her vision was beginning to cloud and blur.
“Unless you wish to face any consequences you’ll stop following this young angel.” A dark raspy voice commanded, Emily froze too scared to look up. Unknowing to her the group of sinners turned tail and ran, and two young girls approached her and carried her. She barely had the chance to see who it was before unconsciousness took her.
“Zestial is everything alright? You said you’d be coming home an hour ago.” “Sorry to worry you Carmilla but, on my way back with the girls, I found an injured seraphim being followed by some sinners.” That got Carmilla’s attention quickly, turning away from her current task with curiosity. Zestial beckoned for her to follow him towards the living room where the girls were working on fixing up Emily’s injuries. Something in Carmilla broke, even though she never knew the girl, she knew it had to be bad for her to be wandering around with such injuries.
“We’ll keep her here for a while.”
With the agreement in place, she helped her daughter through the process of tending to Emily’s injuries. Seeing the damage had her curious as to what happened. She could tell this had been done by angelic weapons. Still, why would they do this? Had she gone against them? Judging by the clothes she wore she seemed almost princess-like.
It was a normal morning at the hotel, and everything running as usual, Lucifer had stopped by to check in on things.
“Hello hello, how’s everything going?” He asked while pulling his daughter into a hug as soon as possible, she smiled at him while answering.
“Everything’s going well, still working on some renovations but going well, Dad. Thanks for asking.”
“That’s good! I’m glad to see it, do you have any plans for today?” “Not really, The majority of the new flyers passed out yesterday, today’s just a relaxed day.” “Oh, maybe we can go out! You’ve been working so hard these past few days, what do ya say Charlie? Vaggie as well, if you’d like to go, I’d love to get to know you.” Charlie walked Lucifer over to the bar to sit down. Vaggie raised a brow at the invitation and sheepishly asked
“I mean I don’t mind it, Are you sure I wouldn’t be crashing on anything?” Lucifer waved it off
“No way, you are my daughter’s girlfriend, I’ve missed out on meeting you the last 3 years, I gotta start somewhere.” As they agreed to the plan the doors to the hotel swung open. Behind them was Carmilla carrying Emily wrapped up in a jacket.
“I’m terribly sorry to barge in so early but you guys are the best ones to handle this.” Turning to see who she was and the limp body she was carrying Charlie and Lucifer both leaped from their seats and rushed over.
“Is that Emily?!” Asked Charlie, Carmilla explained what Zestial had told her as Charlie guided her to the couch where she gently laid the girl down. All attention from those in the lobby was zoned in curiously.
Charlie gasped as the coat unraveled to see the extent. A good portion of her torso had been bandaged up though blood was still seeping through. Her hair matted in it too as well as bandages wrapped around her head and legs. One ankle had been wrapped in a splint, and the color in her face looked almost sickly.
“What happened to her?!” “She fell.” Answered Lucifer, quickly taking off his hat and coat, rolling up his sleeves he materialized a first aid kit while checking Emily’s condition. Charlie stood by offering her assistance. A sneer pulled at his expression as looked over her beaten and battered body.
“She doesn’t have enough strength for me to heal all of her injuries, I’ll heal what I can, the rest are going to have to heal on their own.”
He huffed focusing his energy on his healing magic. A soft gold and red glow emitted as he did this, some wounds closed completely others only partially. Once he finished what he could he picked her back up and told Charlie to follow after thanking Carmilla for bringing Emily. Following her father closely, Charlie could feel his energy change. It was a mix of sadness and anger, even with his face stone cold, she saw the way her father held Emily. How firm yet gently his claws curled around her, how he kept Emily’s head to his chest so securely.
Lucifer had Charlie unlock a bedroom where he placed Emily to rest for now. “Dad….a-are you okay?” Charlie didn’t know how to ask the question but she knew what answer she wanted. Lucifer knew what she was asking and sighed as he pulled the blanket over Emily.
“I’m just…angry is all.” Charlie nodded in understanding as they both peered back at the girl.
“I’ve known her since she was first created, they kept her innocence and blinded. She was a pawn….She was so sweet, and kind.” A crack in his voice escaped, Charlie looked back to her father to see him shaking.
“I know why they threw her down here…same reason they did with me.”
“Why don’t we go, let her sleep alright?” Suggested Charlie, extending a hand to the king who straightened himself up and took her hand. Lucifer turned the lights out before they left following his daughter out.
Three days went by before Emily had woken up in a dim unfamiliar room.
“Wh-where am I?” She sat herself up and almost screamed from pain trying to get out of bed. Looking down at herself she noticed the bandages which only made her even more confused. What happened to her? Where was she? This wasn’t the castle. It was no easy task but she managed to walk herself out of her room and down the hallways.
“All the walls are red…a-am I in hell?” She asked herself, why was it so hard to remember. She knew something had happened, someone hurt her, but who? Using the wall to keep her balance, Emily dragged herself down the long hallway and into the elevator. The elevator ride gave her a little bit of time to think about how she ended up here. Last she remembered she had just gotten back to the castle after hanging out with SirPentious.
When the elevator dinged she entered what looked to be a large hotel lobby.
“Woah what is this place?” Emily wondered out loud, just as she stepped out Nifty came running at her with a knife.
“Kill kill KIll Kill the angel!” Letting out a scream Emily scrambled to get back into the elevator. She ended up falling back and closing the door before someone had grabbed the cyclops.
“No no no Nifty, ya can’t kill her, she’s a guest.” A voice explained from the lobby, there was a short back and forth before the elevator door was opened.
“I’m sorry, she’s been like that since the last extermination.” A gray hand extended itself to Emily who cautiously took it once she recognized who it was.
“V-vaggie?” The woman nodded and pulled the angel to her feet and wrapped an arm around her waist.
“What are you doing out of bed? You don’t look like you should be walking about just yet.” Emily shrugged and smiled sheepishly explaining that she didn’t know where she was.
“Oh well, you’re in hell and this is the Hazbin hotel that Charlie mentioned during the big meeting.” This seemed to jog a little bit of Emily’s memory as she looked around.
“Wow so this is a big hotel, this place is rather nice.” “Thanks we just finished the main renovations since the last attack destroyed the first place.” Vaggie brought Emily over to the couch and told her to sit tight. Emily nodded and just continued to look around the place, it was much nicer than she had anticipated. The place was clean, seemed to be well kept and organized.
“Oh Emily, what are you doing out of bed?” Looking over her shoulder she saw Charlie and told her what she had told Vaggie, and that Vaggie had helped her to the couch.
“Well, I understand that, it is probably frightening to wake up in a completely unknown place. Anyways, how are you feeling?” Charlie asked while placing herself beside Emily.
“I’m okay i guess, everything still hurts. How long have I been asleep for?” “Hm well, from what Carmilla said, i’m going to guess about 6 days now.” “6 Days?! What happened to me?!” Emily asked in a panic holding onto the dress shirt she had been placed in.
“You exiled from heaven-” “What?! No no no, I-I couldn’t have!” Her eyes blew wide, shaking her head in disbelief.
“No no no, Sera wouldn’t let that happen, she wouldn’t, she would never let that happen! Sera…Sera would never hurt me.” Her words coming out in a flurry of fear and desperation, tears welled up as she collapsed in on herself as she repeated it all. Charlie had only seen this once, it was with Vaggie. When Vaggie had been abandoned by the exorcists she went through something similar.
Gently Charlie pulled Emily into her letting her cry into her shoulder listening to her repeat her mantra. This did attract a lot of attention though most of the inhabitants of the hotel kept their distance. Vaggie had come back with water and a blanket, she could hear the angel’s cries from the elevator and braced herself to see the poor girl sobbing. She draped the blanket over Emily’s shoulders and waited it out. They eventually brought the girl back up to her room knowing it would be best for now. It did hurt them when they realized she had managed to cry herself into unconsciousness and soon sleep.

More than anything pt 2
(this is the final part of this story. CW mentions intrusive thoughts, descriptions of depression, and a suicide attempt including blood, drowning, and self-mutilation)
Had she made the right choice? At the time? Maybe, but now she was looking down at her daughter who had just finished crying herself to sleep. Leaving Lucifer hadn’t been easy, and she didn’t want to, but she needed space and time. Sure the timing probably wasn’t the best but, she was drowning! Both of them were and she knew that staying would have only made things worse. Besides it was temporary, she would be back in a few weeks. It was two weeks into her stay that she had sent Lucifer a letter stating that she would not be gone for long and that she just needed time.
How could she? She truly loved Lucifer without a doubt but things were suffering and there wasn’t much else that she could do. She didn’t fully know why she chose to do this but, it was the only thing she could think of. Demands from their subjects, meetings going awry, exterminations, maintaining order it was all piling up! Then the accident with Charlie happened and something in Lilith snapped, not out of rage, but out of desperation.
Charlie’s safety had to come first. Sitting on her bed gently rubbing the small child’s back in tiny circles while sipping a glass of wine, she was alone with her thoughts. Lilith hadn’t gotten any word back from Lucifer though she couldn’t blame him. Her leaving was so sudden, and it pained her deeply when he pleaded on his knees for her to stay. She hoped he got her letter. She did miss him how could she not? She didn’t hate him, this was just something she needed so she could relax, they could pick things up when she got back.
Weeks went by and Lucifer had already driven himself into the ground. He hadn’t bothered to read Lilith’s letter instead he buried himself in his work trying to regain control that he was already far from grasping. It was full steam ahead for him forcing himself out of bed every day going through paperwork, cleaning up the castle, scheduling meetings, and proposals. He made it seem like he had everything together! He was finally getting things done…but at what cost? He hardly slept, either his mind was racing with too many thoughts that kept him up at night or his nightmares would scare him awake. He hardly ate anything, food? Who needs food when you have work to get done? Caring for himself went almost completely by the wayside.
Maybe he deserved to be alone?
Maybe he deserved this?
Maybe he deserved to starve, to scream and cry until he lost his voice. To feel his heartache night and day. He was getting things done and that’s all that mattered. He was taking charge, picking up what Lilith had left off. He was taking his role seriously, even the sins noticed it. Some didn’t take it seriously at first but most learned that he wasn’t going to take any bullshit. He could do this!
He couldn’t do this.
Walking around the empty castle made him sick. The echoes of loneliness were drowning him. The castle’s darkness was consuming his thoughts and bordered on intrusive. It felt like an up-and-down battle of staggering his weakened body out of bed to work and putting on the facade that he was dying. Lucifer was dying inside. The lively angel whose smile lit up the room now consumed by the demon chained to the dark looking for a way out. By now Lucifer had lost track of time and began to spend the days he wasn’t working curled up in bed. His thoughts often blackened his mind till he had no control over himself and would wake up in the bathroom with blood on his hands, wrists, and other parts.
Finally, after three months, Lilith came home. She couldn’t keep Charlie from her father any longer, and she couldn’t stay away from her husband either. It worried her that she hadn’t heard anything from him. She knew he would be upset at first but she thought that by the second month, he would have answered her back. By month three she was preparing to go back fearing something had happened to her lovely husband.
Arriving at the castle she guided Charlie in and she immediately ran to find her father.
“Daddy! Daddy, where are you?” She called out, Lilith giggled a little as it was supposed to be a little surprise. Though when there was no reply she wondered if Lucifer had gone to sleep or gone out. Carrying her bags up the stairs smiled at the thought of seeing his face again. The vacation although worried did refresh her at the least. She couldn’t wait to lie down with him again. To hear the sound of his fingers dancing along the keys of the piano he loved. Watch the sun sets on the balcony together.
“MOMMY!” Lilith felt her heart fall to her stomach at the shriek from her daughter and raced up the stairs dropping the bags to get there faster.
“Mommy’s coming sweetheart!” She called out wondering what could have happened for Charlie to scream with such horror. The closer she got up the stairs the more she could hear.
“Daddy! Daddy wake up! Daddy please!” Getting to the top of the stairs she hustled in and called for Charlie once more. She heard her voice from the bathroom threw the door open and dropped to her knees at the sight.
“SAMAEL!” In the bathtub lay Samael limply in a pool of his own blood that glimmered in the cold water. Lifting Lucifer out she checked his breathing, it was shallow just barely making his chest rise. She looked down at the rest of his body which was caked in blood. Deep scratches lined his neck, chest, and face. The rest were even deeper but there was no weapon, broken glass, blades, or sharp….His demon tail. She knew Lucifer couldn’t die from this but that didn’t mean it didn’t terrify her nonetheless.
“Charlie sweetheart, grab as many towels as you can and bring them here please and then bring me the first aid kit.” She requested, Charlie hesitated at first but pitter-pattered off to follow her mother’s instruction.
“Come on Samael wake up!” She pleaded thumping his chest harder with her palm. She continued this until she heard a gasp. His eyes opened wide before scrunching up as his body forced the water from his lungs. A wave of relief washed over Lilith’s face when her husband came to.
She wrapped him up in the towels Charlie brought while begging for Lucifer to talk.
“Come on Samael, I need to hear your voice please” “I can’t do this Samael, please speak” “Say something!” Tears rained down her face as desperation set in. She wasn’t going to relax until she knew her husband was okay. She wasn’t going to rest until she heard his voice again until she saw the light return to his eyes.
“Please Samael, you’re scaring me!” She pressed while cleaning and bandaging the deepest cuts. Just as she did a cold hand weakly lifted to her face, cupping it and gingerly rubbing the thumb side to side.
“I’m sorry Lili Flower.” Lucifer rasped out, his eyes lazily gazing up at her as his lips tried curling themselves into a smile. Without a word, Lilith dove into his chest shaking against him as sobs wracked her body. Unable to say much he was trying to process what was happening he then heard a soft whimper from behind him and saw Charlie at the threshold of the bathroom crying. Keeping one arm around his wife he extends the other to Charlie.
“C’mer Charchar, daddy’s here.” The toddler ran into him clinging tightly and crying just like her mother. Lucifer sat on the floor of the bathroom cradling his wife and daughter as they cried. He hated to see them cry, he didn’t even know why he did what he did but the guilt was setting in. He didn’t care how long he had to sit there, he wouldn’t move. After a few more minutes he started to hum a soft yet familiar tune. It was a song he used to sing first to Lilith when he met her, then to Charlie when she was born. Low and slow he kept his pacing focusing on his breath as he hummed along.
He didn’t know how long he had done this for but he only stopped when Lilith spoke.
“I-I’m sorry I left like I did.” Lucifer shook his head while swallowing through his dry mouth.
“You…its fine, Lilith.” “No, it's not, I shouldn’t have just walked off with Charlie like that…Wh-what happened to her wasn’t your fault. I-I was overwhelmed but, I shouldn’t have done that.” Lilith didn’t move from her spot, staying close to Lucifer’s chest right where his heart was. She couldn’t bear to part with it as if at any moment it would stop beating and she would lose him for good.
“I should have done more…” Not knowing what to say his words came out in parts.
“You shouldn’t have had to do everything.” “I-…I tried getting everything in order, but I still don’t know what I’m doing. But it's better than nothing.”
One hand combed through Charlie’s hair as the other stayed wrapped around Lilith. They sat silently for what felt like forever until Charlie fell asleep. Lilith put the child to bed before going back to her husband who she found finishing up the bandaging job and cleaning up the floor and tub.
“I-I can do it, Samael, you should rest.” “I’m almost d-” Just as Lucifer started to stand from his lowered position he was immediately pulled back down by dizziness. Lilith quickly placed an arm around him and lifted him in a bridal carry.
“Please…Lucifer….let me help.” Without a word, Lucifer only nodded allowing his wife to carry him to bed. Setting him down she helped him change his clothes and went to clean up the bathroom. Seeing his blood staining the porcelain made her skin crawl. She had seen him hurt before but knowing this was self-inflicted made her heart ache. It hurt to know his mind had gone so dark even if she didn’t know what had happened for him to do this. When she finished up she went into their bedroom to see Lucifer brushing his fingers over the bandages with a sad expression.
She quietly crawled onto the bed and pulled him close. Interlacing her fingers with his and kissing him tenderly, she turned them over to lay on their sides.
“We will talk about everything later….for now, I just want you. More than anything…I want you.” Lucifer nodded and snuggled up to her, letting her scent calm him.
“I love you, Lilith” “I love you too, Lucifer.”

Important rules/tips I've learned as an adult that helped with anxiety
If people are mad at you, it's their responsibility to tell you, not your responsibility to guess
If they're mad at you in secret anyways, they're the ones in the wrong, not you
If people don't like what you're doing, it's their responsibility to tell you
If they say it's fine when it's really not, they're the ones in the wrong, not you
People are allowed to be wrong about you
If they are wrong about you, wait for them to bring it up, because if you try to, you will inevitably overcorrect
Some people are committed to misunderstanding you. You will not win arguments against them. Yes, even if you explain your point of view. They do not care. Drop it
The worst thing that will happen from a first-time offense is being told not to do it again. Maybe with a replacement if you broke something
You can improve relationships and gauge willingness to talk to you by giving compliments. It's like a daily log-in bonus and nobody thinks twice about it
Most things are better after you sleep on them
Most things are better after you have a meal
Most things are better after you shower
Your brain makes up consequences that are irrational. If the worst DOES come to pass and someone acts like they do in your head, they are overreacting, and you are entitled to say "what the fuck"
If your chest hurts after you feel like you've made a social error, that's called rejection-sensitive dysphoria. It means your anxiety is so bad that it's causing you physical pain, which is a good indicator that you're overreacting. Tense yourself, hold it for 20 seconds, let it go, then find a distraction
If you're suddenly angry at someone after you feel like you made a social error, that's also rejection-sensitive dysphoria. You are going to feel annoyed about it for awhile, but being genuinely pissed off is your anxiety trying to find something to blame to take the responsibility off your shoulders, and getting scared because it can't justify itself. Deep breaths, ask yourself how much you ACTUALLY want to be angry at that person, then find a distraction
"Sour grapes" is more healthy for you than stewing. Deciding you don't like someone who's perpetually annoyed with you, won't talk to you, etc. makes letting go of anxiety over them easier
If people don't like you, they will find reasons to be annoyed with you when they otherwise wouldn't. If people do like you, they will find reasons NOT to be annoyed with you when they otherwise would. People do not ping-pong between the two
You DO have to make a conscious choice not to think about something. If you're having trouble circling back to it, say out loud that you're done thinking about it and why. Then find a distraction
When you're upset, part of you is going to want to make false bids for attention (suddenly texting differently, heavy sighs, etc. but when someone asks you about it, you tell them it's nothing). Do not listen to it. You gain nothing from it except more misery
People like to help people they care about. It makes them feel good about themselves
If you think you're insufferable for needing help, see above. Yes, really. They get a serotonin kick from it
If you think you're insufferable for mannerisms you have, you either have to consciously choose not to do them, or accept that they're part of the package that comes with you. Being apologetic about existing does nothing except make you more miserable
If you do things you don't like when you feel meh about it, it makes it easier to do them when you hate it
If you avoid things you don't like when you feel meh about it, it reinforces and magnifies how bad it feels when you hate it
Seriously. Read those last two points again. If you can make yourself make a phone call when you've got nothing to lose, you will slowly lose that panic you get when you have to make a phone call you haven't prepared for. You do have to CONSCIOUSLY take that step
Hobbies that make you care for something get rid of that nagging feeling that you're not doing enough. Go grow some rosemary
If you don't engage with your hobbies regularly, you will feel miserable, and anxiety will spike
Hobbies are things that give you a bit of happiness. They do not have to be organized or named to do that. Go be creative in something. Play with coins. Make up lists. Start a new WIP
No one cares what you look like
If people point out things they don't like about how you look unprompted, they are being rude. You are entitled to say "what the fuck"
People who like you will find you pretty to some degree. Minor things about your appearance go completely unnoticed. Literally, scars and dots and blemishes do not register to someone who likes your company
You looking at yourself in the mirror is 10x more closely than anyone is going to look at you
If you're anxious about your body type, and you're creatively inclined, make/write an oc with that same shape. Give them nice things and make other characters love them. Put them on adventures. You'll start to see yourself in the mirror more kindly
You care about wording and perfect lines/colors way more than anyone who views your work ever will
Sometimes when you're upset, you're going to feel like not eating. Do not do that. Not eating makes you more miserable
Same with things you normally enjoy. Denying yourself helps no one. You are punishing yourself for being sad. Stop it
Both of these will take conscious decision to break the habit of. Make yourself do it anyways, and it will slowly get easier
And again, to reiterate: If someone is mad at you, it is THEIR responsibility to tell you, not your responsibility to guess

Love Beyond Mortality pt 2
(( Here's the second part, let me know if you want me to continue this. CW mention of murder-no really descriptions- Hope you, enjoy its long)
“I told you to wait!” “I wasn’t going to wait around who knows how fucking long!” “Well if you did you wouldn’t have had to get his blood on your hands!” “Why would it have mattered?!” “Because I could have helped you! I could have made this whole situation go smoother!” “Its done.”
Taishirou huffed and looked over the human’s body, he noticed how shredded his robes were, the hand prints all over his bare skin as well as bruises and cuts. Shrugging off his captain's coat he walked over and draped it over Shota’s shoulders.
“Let's get you home, you need rest.”
Things happened fast, word of what happened spread like wildfire, and it seemed that disaster followed him wherever he went. First, his school fired him, his house had been burned down, and now he was being summoned to trial in Olympus! He already had to deal with the mortals being angry with him for angering the god of strength who lived! The god of strength had a gaggle of devotees who didn’t take the harming of their god lightly, so they sought our revenge. He ended up having to live with Nemuri which brought trouble to her shop, plenty of their devotees were looking to run Shota out of the village or worst comes to worst, kill him!
Of course, Shota wasn’t excited about this trial though he held onto a shred of hope that these beings would bestow empathy, sympathy, and mercy towards him.
The day of the trial came, Shota had been brought to Olympus by two minor gods who had placed him in a holding cell. Olympus was different than he thought, sure it was a place in the sky bright and colorful almost heaven-like, with temples and castles. Even with that being so, there was a hostile air to it, different sides of Olympus didn’t have the same weather, and skies ranged from grey and rainy to bright and cloudless.
“Alright mortal, let's go.” The clanking sounds of his cell opening had him rise to his feet as he was escorted down the hall of the Olympian's castle. They walked for what seemed like miles until they entered a grand courtroom filled with many divine beings. There were large chairs in the center wall with a few others along the side of the lower court. The chambers echoed and ringed with chatter which lowered to whispers and muttering when Shota’s presence was announced.
“And now we bring in Shota Aizawa, the mortal who attempted to take the life of Yugo god of strength one of our Olympians.” The murmuring hummed louder amongst the large crowd as Shota was placed at his seat. An older man from the large seat banged his gabble to silence the room as he introduced himself and those at what was presumed to be the judges' table.
“I am Gran Torino, God of time, creation, and honor. To my immediate left is Lady Chiyo goddess of plague, healing.” The woman bowed her head slightly before Gran Torino carried on.
“To my immediate right is Lady Shimura Nana, Goddess of justice” A woman with black hair bowed before the crowd with a wide and warm smile.
“Those in the chairs below are our Olympians who will be sitting in on trial to decide your fate. Now I ask you, young man, what do you plea?” Asked Gran Torino, Shota swallowed the nervous lump in his throat as he felt every pair of eyes on him.
“I-I plead innocent, Y-your honor.” He announced unconfidently, and then another question was asked.
“Are you saying that you were not the one to attempt to take young Yugo’s life? You were not the one who snuck into his chambers to kill him?” Shota shook his head and shifted nervously in his seat.
“N-No sir, that is not what I’m pleading innocent to”
“So you admit that you were the one to do it?!” Interrupted a man whose body lit a blaze with a roaring fire as he stood. Shota stammered nervously under their gazes, he felt like a mouse trapped in a room of hungry house cats ready to pounce at any opportunity.
“I-…I…I had my reasons, s-sir”
“What reason does someone have for attempting to kill a god, what could you possibly have against him?” The fireman’s tone felt like jabs as if he was already being accused of a guilty verdict.
“Now now Enji, let the man explain.” Called out Nana from her position, Enji grumbled and sat back down. Nana then looked at Shota with a soft expression.
“Mr Aizawa, may I ask why you tried to kill Yugo? Were you forced?”
“n-No ma’am, I did it on my own volition…to avenge my s-sister.”
“Pathetic!” Shouted Enji, many of the court attendees agreed with him nodding and ‘yeahing’ along with him. Again Gran Torino called for order, and when the room slowly quieted Nana asked for Shota to elaborate. Shota knew he couldn’t go back now so he explained everything to them, from what happened to Nemuri to what had happened to him that night in the temple.
“And why should we believe this story of yours? Do you have any proof of this happening? How do you know that your sister wasn’t asking for it?” These questions of doubt stabbed at him, as if they already saw him as a liar no matter how much proof he gave them.
“How do we know that what you say is true?” Many more of these sorts of questions were like arrows impaling him left and right as many accused him of fabrication. They wouldn’t let him get in a word and when they did they were twisted and torn and picked apart! How was this fair? This wasn’t a fair trial! Even after asking Taishirou to tell his side of things, the judges didn’t seem to budge on their attitudes while the chairmen god and goddesses seemed undecided. They called for a recess session that had lasted 30 minutes before their decision had been made. Shota and Yugo had both been called to the center court where Gran Torino announced the verdict.
“As it stands we here find Shota Aizawa the mortal guilty of attempted manslaughter of an Olympian, his punishment will be, to be turned into a demi gorgon!” Shota’s eyes grew wide in horror, he had heard many tales about demi gorgons and he knew this would only put a greater target on his back. This meant he would most likely have to go into hiding now! He would have rather been struck dead than this! Before he could even protest he felt the change occur. Scales grow in patches along his arms, legs, and other parts. His tongue lengthened and split, his vision became blurry and overwhelmed by the light. His nails lengthened slightly to short claws. The sound of hissing grew in a cluster as slithers of snakes made their presence upon the man’s head mixing with his hair. Shota cried as the change overwhelmed his entire being. How could they still see him as guilty? How could he be punished for this? Why was this man walking away without a scratch?
“And now I Nana Shimura declare for Yugo to be stripped of his title as an Olympian and for his power to be taken.” Hold on what?! Shota looked up in shock at the woman who gave him a soft wink and smile while the other man screamed in outrage.
“I hear by find you Yugo, guilty of rape, sexual assault, and abuse of power. You are banished from Olympus!” No way! Was this real?! Was he actually being punished?!
“NO NO NO! YOU CAN’T DO THIS! I DID NOTHING WRONG! That lil monster tried to kill me for no reason!” Yugo yelled out stomping and throwing his arms around, the crowd watched as his powers were stripped from him, his form weakened and shrunk withering away into almost nothing! Some people booed at his disappearance and protested along with him. Even some of the judges looked shocked at the goddess’s call.
“B-But Lady Nana do you really believe that Yugo would do something like that?” “We aren’t even sure if that miserable beast is lying!” “Why do you believe him of all people?” “You’re going to listen to the monster?” “Those two were probably asking for it!”
“SILENCE!” Demanded the goddess, her voice cutting through the crowd like a sharpened sword. The room became so quiet you could hear a pin drop as she continued.
“As you know I do my best to keep things as fair as possible, and for you all to be questioning a victim of sexual assault along with his sister like this is inexcusable when we already have had a witness report. Yes, I would love to preserve our standings as Olympians, and kicking someone from their chair is a big decision that I do not take lightly. But I do this for not only the safety of the mortals but for all of you. If he was willing to do such things to two mortals who knows what he could do to anyone here if he hasn’t already! I do not agree with Mr Aizawa’s sentencing myself but both sides knew there were consequences. I do not blame him for his actions, I would do the same if anyone i-I loved dearly had been harmed in such a manner. I would tear apart the earth itself till I bring down such a person to their knees! I’m sure you would all do the same!”
Her voice boomed and rang through the walls, everyone’s attention flickering from her to Shota.
“There is one final decision that has been made, this was done collectively. Shota Aizawa, with the chair now open, would you take it?” Shota stared up at her incredulously, was she for real? Was this a joke? Was she asking to take Yugo’s place?
“I-I…I w-wouldn’t kn-know what that means, ma’am.” He stuttered, everyone in the room looked just as surprised by her offer.
“What this will mean is you will inhibit Olympus like all of the others here, you will be put on a probational period and be held to the same standards as my fellow Olympians. You will create your own domain ad rule over it. We’ll call it your chance at redemption.” “D-do i have a choice?” “No” And just like that his fate had been sealed in stone! How would he be able to see his sister? There’s no way to get back to her! How would she take this?!
Days went by, Nemuri had been told the results of the trial and of course, she was upset! She was happy her brother was still alive, and that he hadn’t been exiled, and she had a chance to see him. It was bittersweet when any time she went to his temple to find him he hid from her! She cried for days and nights as she missed him dearly. He was her only family, now she was all alone Taishiro hated to see her so distraught over the loss of her brother. He let her stay in his ship and started taking care of her, encouraging her to go out, keep her bakery up and running, and provide her a shoulder to cry on. The pirate captain knew he could only do so much and it broke his heart to see her like this. He tried many times to convince Shota to talk with her, but each time Shota refused.
“Please! She needs you!” “What could she possibly need or want with a monster like me?” “You are her brother, Shota! She will always need you, you are the one who protected her. She cries for you day and night! She still loves you!” Silence, after a while Taishiro thought the man had left so he started to go back to his ship.
“W-wait….T-Taishiro!” Taishiro could hear a hint of desperation in his voice.
“Yes?” “…I-…I will meet with her…On one condition.” “And what is that?” “…You guard her with your life.” Taishiro furrowed his brows at his request.
“What do you mean Shota, you can still protect her and look after her you know.” Shota nodded and sighed.
“I’ve lived my entire life as her protector, and she needs someone new, I can’t be the only one she has anymore….I know that you like her, and she likes you too. So I’m putting my trust in you Taishiro.” Taishiro paused at this, was he really that obvious? He blushed softly and stuttered out.
“Sh-Shouta, are you sure?” “Yes, I’m sure. She may hate me for it at first but, she will understand my reasonings.”
The day Nemuri was finally going to see her brother she was ecstatic! Smiling from ear to ear, she got herself ready much faster than Taishirou had expected. It did warm his heart to see her so happy. He knew this day would be a whirlwind of emotions but for now, he reveled in her happiness. Arriving at the temple that Nemuri practically ran into she called for her brother.
“Shota! Sho! You here?” Nemuri continued to run through the temple, looking around for the man. At first, she began to worry that he had flaked out on her until a soft.
“In here” Came out from behind a statue, speedily walking over to it, she turned the corner and was greeted by Shota. Whose eyes were covered in bandages. The snakes in his hair remained, some looked curiously at her. Hissing and flicking their tongues, they didn’t launch at her but slowly extended themselves towards her. This frightened her at first, she yelped and stepped back but Taishirou came up behind her and gently held her.
“It's okay, they won't hurt you, they’re just curious about you.” Nemuri nodded at this and continued to observe Shota’s new form. The silence seemed to make Shota nervous. The bandages were thin enough for him to see her silhouette and he knew where everything was. Though details weren’t the same. He wished he could see her face again but he didn’t want to take that chance.
“N-n…Nemuri?” Nemuri noticed his hands slowly reaching out, she gently took them and placed them to her face while nodding.
“Yeah Shouta, it's me.” His lips wobbled slightly before he bit down on them and turned his head away from her.
“I-…I’m sorry you have to see me like this.” Nemuri gave a soft smile and leaned her face into his hands while she spoke.
“There’s nothing wrong with how you look Shouta…You didn’t ask for this. So please…don’t be sorry.” Shouta gave a small nod, his brows knitting into a sad expression.
“I'm just happy to see you, and I wanted to thank you…” “For what?” “You did something no one else would have done for me” Shouta cracked a smile at her words, though he kept his lips closed not wanting her to see his fangs.
“I would have done it no matter who had done that to you. Mortal or not, and I’d do it all again because you’re my sister.” “I just wish they didn’t do this to you….” “I know,” Shouta then pulled Nemuri into a tight hug.
“But I will learn to live with it, as long as you are safe, I will do it all again.” Nemuri stayed in her brother’s embrace for as long as time would let her before Shouta finally mentioned the deal.
“Oh, one more thing….Taishirou and I have made a deal.” The woman pulled away to look at the two of them inquisitively. Taishirou had already braced himself for her reaction.
“What sort of deal?” “Well since I will be learning to be an olympian, I won't be able to be the brother you need, plus I want you to have someone else besides me that you can lean on. So I’ve assigned Taishirou to protect you with his life.” Even with his limited sight, he could tell this shocked her. Shouta smiled fully and warmly at her.
“Please, Nemuri. I see how fond you two are of each other, and I want you to live for yourself. I will still be there for you, but I can’t be the only one you have.” Nemuri looked over to Taishirou asking if this was true and the blond nodded at him. They expected for her to cry again, or for her to be angry but she just pulled Shouta into another hug.
“I won't let you down.”

So shit hit the fan and host needs help. We got a shutoff notice for our power and there are no resources to help us get back on our feet. Things were fine up until now. I can get these out pretty fast, so I'm opening flat color half-body commissions.
I'll draw anything within reason, just no NSFW or fetishes. I'm not comfy with that. mild gore is okay since I draw that crap anyway lmfao. No hate speech either. You'll instantly get your ass blocked.
I'm gonna use the slot system, opening up for 5 (for now)
1/5 slots taken
(this will be updated as we go.)
I do PayPal and these are gonna range from $10 to $15 if an extra character is involved.
If you're interested, please shoot me a DM and we can work something out. Reblogs are appreciated if you feel like you wanna do that. I'm a quick worker but sometimes I get caught up with irl things that need my attention. But feel free to ask if it's been over two days, chances are I got caught up in something and wasn't able to finish the piece just yet.

Love beyond Mortality pt1
(This story-that my be a series- is a prequel to my story posted on AO3 "Devoted Til Death" this takes place in a different time. CW This story contained mild descriptions of SA and violence, as well as mentions of transphobia. if that is something you don't like don't read it))
Once upon a time Gods and humans seemingly got along well. The humans built temples brought their offerings frequently, prayed to their gods, and devoted themselves fully. This gave the gods the strength to act upon any requests and to descend. The humans none the wiser enjoyed their gods’ presence and their returns of gratitude. Though all that to be said, not all the gods had good intentions for their descent. Shota had never fully put his trust in the gods, he could respect them but there was always a nagging feeling in his mind that not all of them had hearts of gold like they were praised for. Then there was Nemuri, she was fascinated by gods and goddesses, and how their mortal plane could interact with such beings. When the descent happened she was overjoyed and took it upon her to interview them whenever she could. Two gods in particular seemed to be just as happy to be interviewed by her. One was the god of strength Yugo and the other god of the ocean and waters Taishiro Toyamitsu. Both Yugo and Toyamitsu were always at Nemuri’s bakery always asking to taste her creations, Toyamitsu was polite and patient and focused more on answering her questions and asking light-hearted ones back while Yugo…Yugo seemed to only be looking to show off.
Sure he would help her in the kitchen lifting heavy trays and bags of flour though anything else that didn’t show his strength seemed to be beneath him. Then there were the comments Yugo would make, at first Nemuri just took them as compliments.
“You have such gorgeous hair, miss.” “My what a beautiful smile, I’d love for you to stain mine in your lipstick” he went further down her body.
“I’d love to get a hold on those hips of yours” “Damn didn’t know that ass of yours was so nice to look at.” “You’re just as doughy as the rolls you make, maybe you’d let me have a taste~” Even Toyamitsu was uncomfortable as the god of strength had no problems saying these things in front of others even trying to pull Toyamitsu into it. Still, the blond tried to be as respectful as possible in his wording showing he didn’t want any part of Yugo’s commentary.
Nemuri would tell Shota on the occasion about it and of course, Shota wasn’t happy and suggested he should have a word with Yugo. Nemuri shot him down every time saying it wasn’t worth it or necessary and they were just words, she insisted it would be nothing more. Shota could still see that ti bothered his sister though so he wasn’t going down as easily. When he wasn’t busy teaching he would show up to Nemuri’s bakery and help her as a way to monitor the god's interactions, and of course. Yugo didn’t stop his advances, even when Shota would shoot him looks Yugo would quickly recover with comments towards Shota.
“Oh I’m sorry didn’t mean to offend though if I must say, you’re not so bad you’re self with your sleeves rolled up mister teacher man~” Shota made a point to not let his comments interfere, but he didn’t keep quiet either. He returned with his responses as well, he made sure to keep the attention on him and not his twin sister.
This went on for several days and things started to die down, the god’s comments seized for a bit. Then it happened, on the darkest of days Nemuri was supposed to deliver a batch of treats while Shota cleaned up shop.
“Hey do you want me to come with you?” He asked, Neumeri shook her head as she strapped the satchel for her journey.
“I will be alright Shota, you’ve been here a lot, I can handle myself.” Shota looked over at her worriedly as he paused his sweeping of the store.
“I know you can but….I know you’re going to meet Yugo, at least take your knife, I know you have your quirk but…please sister” He held out her machete, and Nemuri looked wide-eyed at him.
“Sh-shota…he-he wouldn’t…I-I can’t.” Before he could place her weapon in her hand or bag, she left. He knew that it may have seemed like a lot and potentially dangerous to suggest using such a thing on a god. Pocketing the machete himself he sighed and tried to convince himself all would be fine.
Making her way through the forest wasn’t hard, it wasn’t a long walk to the temple of the god of strength. Though the entire time she thought about turning back and going to grab her machete. She tried to push her worries to the back of her mind but she couldn’t help but feel a sense of regret.
“Well well looks like the party can start~” Purred Yugo, Nemuri barely had a chance to enter the temple before she was snatched inside. Without a chance to speak Yugo’s hand wandered her body unclicking straps dropping her bags along the old marble flooring. Lifting, pulling and tugging, shushing, kissing he wasted no time feasting his urges upon her body. Taring and shredding at her clothes, the woman was too frozen in fear soft whimpers and yelps were the only sounds she could make. Yugo gave her a sickeningly sweet smirk after leaving a rough kiss on her throat.
“Oh my dear sweet little human, there is no need to cry, I’ll be gentle, I promise.”
In the days following Shota knew something was up when his sister returned later than usual covered up considerably. Her jovial mode dwindled into a dark depression, she hardly spoke outside of short conversations at the counter. It is worrying to see the sudden change even Taishiro was concerned. The two had talked and Taishiro offered his words of encouragement for the man to get to the bottom of this.
“Nemuri, please tell me, i know something is wrong, just please tell me.” Nemuri bit at her lip shaking her head at him.
“No no no…i-I can’t…You wouldn’t believe me.” She stammered out, Shota gently pulled her close rubbing her back in a soothing manner. He could feel her frame trembling against his and it hurt him to see her so afraid.
“Please…Nemuri…You were there for me when I came out to you, so what makes you think I wouldn’t do the same for you?” Shota wasn’t wrong, when Shota and Nemuri were younger Shota had figured out he was transgender and wanted to identify as a man. Nemuri was the first one in their family he had told and she stuck by him, she stuck by him when their parents found out, she stuck out during their fights, and even left with him when he had been thrown out of the house for his ‘transgressions’.
There was a soft sigh before Nemuri began to cry to him.
“Y-You…I-I should have taken my machete…I-Its my fault Shota, I should have listened.” The sick feeling grew worse in his stomach, and Shota had a feeling about what had happened. She sunk to her knees as her tears fell, soft sobs wracked her body breaking Shota’s heart into pieces as he listened to her cries.
“H-he wouldn’t stop he didn’t stop, i couldn’t speak, i-I should have listened. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m Sorry, I’m s-so sorry.” A soft ding of the shop’s door went unnoticed until a familiar voice called out.
“Hey is everything alright?” Shota looked behind himself to see Toyamitsu entering the shop, Shota was a little wary of him coming too close shooting him a protective look. The blond paused at this and asked what had happened.
“H-He…he t-touched me…” Toyamitsu’s expression darkened at this, he knew Yugo was pretentious and touchy but he never knew that man would go that far. Shota manages to slip his sister’s main covering off and his quirk tired off immediately. Without a word, he stood up from his spot on the floor with Nemuri and walked into the back of the kitchen. At first Toyamitsu and Nemuri didn’t know what he was doing until he came back strapping the machete to him.
“Sh-Shota, wh-what are you doing?” Asked Nemuri while wiping her tears, Shota answered through his gritted teeth.
“To show him how it feels to be at someone’s mercy” Toyamitsu hurriedly grabbed him by the shoulder to stop him.
“Shota, please! I understand your reasoning, but the consequences won't be what you think!” He warned, Shota glared coldly at him while tying up his hair.
“If you claim to understand then you’ll step aside, I’m not scared of the consequences, I will deal with them when they come.” The ocean god huffed as he saw the look in Shota’s eyes, a look he knew all too well. Anger fueled by the need for vengeance, nodding he offered his help.
“Alright, if you are sure you want to do this, I will not stop you….” “Toyamitsu!” Nemuri protested, Toyamitsu held up a hand signaling he wasn’t done.
“If you would like I will place Nemuri in my ship where she will be safe from harm and then I will join you.” Shota raised a brow at his offer and asked.
“How will I know you will not forfeit and go running to your fellow gods? Why should trust you?” Toyamitsu couldn’t blame Shota for his hesitance to trust him he would do the same if he were in Shota’s place.
“Because I was never fond of Yugo, and I don’t believe he should go unpunished, I’ve seen what he’s done, and even if you were to ask Nemuri I’ve never encouraged his behavior towards her.” Shota looked to his sister who nodded quickly still she protested this entire plan.
“Shota pl-please it's not worth it, you don’t need to do this, he could kill you!” She pleaded with him not to go, but he didn’t listen and headed towards the door.
“Toyamitsu….hurry up.” Was all he had said before walking out of the shop.
The entire walk to the god’s temple gave him time to stew in his thoughts. At first, he thought about turning back and going a different route for justice but just the memories of hearing his sister scream and cry reignited his fire. He had hardly noticed when he had made it to the temple until he found himself at its entrance. He contemplated waiting for Toyamitsu to come, he knew it would probably be best, but it was already getting dark and he didn’t know how long it would take for the god to appear. Without a second thought, he stepped inside. All was silent, footsteps padding along breaking marble
The temple was dark and cold, he couldn’t sense any divine energy nearby was he not here? His steps echoed as he looked around eyes squinted in the dark as he made his way around. Would he have to come back another time? This place seemed vacant. No sign of anyone living here could be found. Just as he tip-toed his way into what looked to be a bedroom a surge of divine energy flooded his senses. His mind began to fall to its buzzing static feeling as if someone had impaled him with a steel ice pick. Letting out a strangled cry Shota’s body succumbed to the pain and energy and collapsed.
When he awoke his mind was hazy, vision blurry and his body weak, yet he could feel someone’s hand wrapped around his body. Blinding and trying to adjust he let out a groan as he tried to move but found himself pressed against something warm and fleshy. This skin felt human, he slid his hands around to get his bearings and he found himself touching bare skin and muscle. His eyes started to adjust showing a large shadowy figure over top of him. He let out a scream and reached for his machete but was only touching his torn clothes.
“Oh, my looks like you’re awake, good morning sleepy head.” Greeted the being above him, his voice held a seductive cadence, and this sent a shiver up Shota’s spine. He recognized the voice, and he started to back away from what was most likely the bed.
“You!” His voice filled with terror as the god loomed over his energy firing up again. He saw the shining golden glow of his mouth and eyes illuminating his face dimly in the dark.
“I’m sorry little human but if it's that little dagger you’re looking for, you’ll have better luck finding a needle in a haystack! But,” The god loomed closer as he grew monstrously in height and his smirk grew wider.
“Why do that when you could lay back down with me and forget what you came to do, I can show you just why it would be in your best interest~” He hissed backing Shota into a corner as he stepped towards him. Shota’s eye blurrily scanned his surroundings looking for a way out, just as Yugo reached for him he dove between his legs, slid beneath him, and ran for it! Yugo turned to chase him, but Shota took multiple turns through the temple. He had to find somewhere to hide, the sound of thumping footsteps shook the temple as the god hunted for him.
“Oh little mortal~ Come on out, no need to run!” Shota’s eyes constantly darted around for anything he could use to protect himself. He ran into a room and tried to find a place to hide himself he wasn’t fast enough the steps got louder, and he knew the god was near. The frequency of the god’s energy grew out of control, almost painful like before. His vision blurred, as his body struggled to stay conscious again. Looking around he found an old mirror beside himself, smashing his fist into it, he grabbed a large shard and kept it in hand. The smashing sound alerted the god to his hiding place as Shota struggled to stay on his feet. Through his failing vision, he saw an opening, it was narrow but it might be his only chance! Darting towards the existing Yugo rushed after him towards the entrance of his temple, he grabbed and yanked Shota back by his hair. The mortal quickly turned around and stabbed the shard of glass into the god’s throat! The god let out a strangled shriek and dropped Shota to grab onto his throat.
“SHOTA!” Just as Shota made it to the steps he whipped around to see Toyamitsu standing in shock. Freezing like a deer in the headlights, Toyamitsu went from him to the god back to him.
“What did you do?!”

holy shit i needed this T~T
to you, it’s a shitty sentence. to some random bitch 500 miles away, it’s a fire line that’ll haunt them for the next 17 years.
you don’t know how impactful your writing is because it’s been in your brain for far too long now. you’ve stared at it for hours and repeated “this sucks” over and over again to the point that you killed your capacity to feel anything about your work.
but trust me, once you get your shit out there, someone’s gonna go over that paragraph you hate and go “jesus fucking christ” and put the book down to have an existential crisis.

More than anything
((Since i've gotten into Hazbin, I've been coming up with small ideas here and there, so I thought i'd try one out and see how it goes.)) (CW description of injuries, abuse, & toxic dynamic)
“Ugh, I can’t fucking believe you Lucifer do I have to do everything my fucking self!?” “I’m trying my best here-” “It's not that damn hard for you to write a simple proposal, is it?” “It's n-not as easy as it looks Lili, please I-I..I’m trying.” “You’ve ‘been trying’ my patience Lucifer! You’re a seraphim and an angel of death, yet here you are looking like a pathetic wench!” Lilith hissed out, Lucifer shrunk a little at her words but tried to stick up for himself.
“Yes I am a Seraphim and was an angel of death, but I was never a king! I was never a ruler! Sure a guide at most but being a ruler wasn’t something I have experience in! If you helped me out this would go smoother!” “Help?! I’ve been helping, you act as if I’m not the one taking care of Charlie while you lock yourself in your room and cry till the sun comes up. You’re hardly a father to her!” “You won't let me be a father to her!” He protested his tail whipping around with anger, he hated when Lilith would bring Charlie into this.
“How can I spend any time with my daughter when you pull her away, load me up with work, or send me off? I would love to play with her more but how can I do that when I’m exhausted?! Or depressed?” Lilith rolled her eyes at him, Unfolding her arms she pointed a finger at him and started charging him away.
“Don’t go pulling the depression card with me, you do this every time. You don’t do shit around here, you don’t know how to command, you don’t to rule, I know you can come up with something better than whatever shit you wrote down as a proposal! You hardly put in any effort to do anything. You are the reason why your plans fail because you get so fucking lost you don’t know what to do with it and go off the fucking rails!” By now she had Lucifer backed against the wall, her tall frame towering over his smaller one. Her demon form domineering as she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt with a serpentine look.
“Honestly you are so fucking pitiful-” “L-lili please” Lucifer whimpered his hand on her wrist, what she hadn’t noticed was her claws digging into his throat. With a slight snarl, she dropped him and finally noticed the blood on her fingers. Her eyes widened in surprise but before she could even say anything Lucifer just got up from his spot on the floor and weakly staggered away announcing he’d sleep on the couch that night. Although Lilith was angry with Lucifer she never wanted to hurt him, and neither of the two liked fighting. They didn’t like arguing every night, they didn’t like what they were becoming. Once a couple who had been through the worst which was being hunted down and thrown out of heaven, their love and devotion towards each other and their desires keeping them together. Now could hardly have a good week without something going wrong. Of course, there were days when they would get along, they were a normal loving couple who kissed and cuddled and shared their happiness. But those days weren’t always lasting or memorable.
Hell’s population was growing and the rings were becoming unorganized, there wasn’t truly any order. Sinners and hellborns intermixing usually wasn’t a bad thing but it was starting to become a problem. Especially with some of the overlords going overboard! There was so much he had to do and so much to be expected of him and it was overwhelming him. Other things overwhelmed him such as the nightmares of exterminations and the day they had fallen from heaven. That day always made him anxious to think about it, he still had the scars from it too.
The next morning Lucifer woke up on the couch, at first he contemplated going back to sleep until he had been reminded why he was up.
“Daddy!” Charlie. Lucifer gave a sleepy smile at the little girl and stretched as he sat up.
“Hey there Char Char, did you sleep well?” The small child nodded and climbed on the couch.
“Are we still going out, Daddy?” She asked innocently, that's right, they had planned to spend the day together! Lucifer nods and pulls her into a hug,
“Of course we are, dear, I just need to get ready and we’ll be on our way!” Charlie grinned and squealed excitedly not paying much attention to the bandages wrapped around her father’s neck. She hopped down from the couch and pulled her father by the hand to get him up faster. Giving in he allowed himself to be tugged along by his daughter. He had to go into their bedroom to get his clothes and just prepared himself for Lilith.
“Momma! I got Daddy up! We’re gonna go out!” The little demon exclaimed as she rushed over to her mother. Lilith was brushing out her hair when she came in, she smiled and patted Charlie on the head.
“That's a great sweetheart! What are you guys gonna do?” Lilith asked as she pretended to not notice her husband trying to sneak into their bedroom. She could sense his fear pouring from him like an overflowing sink. It was for her good that she did not acknowledge him at the moment. She knew how he would bend backward to apologize infinitely if she did and their daughter didn’t need to see that. She continued to chat with her upbeat daughter, having her sit in her lap and brush out her hair and then helping her get dressed. It was a nice change to see Lucifer commit to taking Charlie out on his own. It had truly been ages since he had done so, most times Lilith would have to coax him out of bed or leave him behind and take Charlie out herself.
“Alright Char Char, come on, I’ll make breakfast and then we’ll head out,” Lucifer called softly while heading back out the bedroom door and into the kitchen. He hadn’t said a thing to Lilith and she didn’t expect him to either. She didn’t expect any sort of kindness after that, she didn’t expect any affection or for him to bring her breakfast but he still did it. He still brought her coffee, and breakfast and kissed her on the head before heading out with a soft.
“I forgive you”
Today was surprisingly a nice day, the air was warm but the skies were clear. Lucifer held Charlie's hand as she skipped down the sidewalk both of them humming a tune together. They didn’t have a complete plan on what they’d do today but Lucifer was fine with that as long as he was with his daughter that’s all that mattered.
“Ooh, daddy can we go to the park?” Asked Charlie who pointed at the park entrance, Lucifer agreed and they strolled over. The playground was rather big but there weren’t too many people around. They spent their time running around playing tag, going through the large playsets, giggling, and grinning. Lucifer was thoroughly enjoying himself as he grabbed the small one from her hiding spot on the wobbly bridge that they played pretend on. Take that depression HAHA!
Things were looking up for him.
“Daddy look, the ice cream truck!” Lucifer let her guide himself towards the ice cream truck, of course, they were gonna get ice cream no way he’d pass up on that opportunity! Approaching the ice cream truck, Lucifer ordered some ice cream from the man behind the counter. He ended up having a conversation with him about different flavors of ice cream. He was so deep in that he hadn’t noticed Charlie let go of his hand or that she had wandered off until a scream echoed down the street. Lucifer snapped his head and saw that Charlie wasn’t beside him anymore and called out for her. He followed the sounds of the screaming hoping to whatever was above that it wasn't coming from her and that his daughter was just hiding or back at the park. His legs ran the longer the screaming went on, he had no idea as to where he was going but he just had to find Charlie!
Lucifer approached an alleyway that seemed to be the source of the screaming and his heart began to pound out of his chest. He had a bad feeling about this but he couldn’t back out now.
“Hey, what are you doing?!” He yelled out, the group of sinners hardly paused or looked at him as they yelled for him to mind his business. He tried to get a glimpse of whatever they were doing and his blood began to boil when he saw a familiar set of music notes with red fabric. As the rage flooded him he shifted to his full demon form and yelled out.
“AS THE KING OF HELL I DEMAND YOU LET GO OF MY DAMN DAUGHTER!” The sinners looked up at the blond-haired demon king, some moved as a side, and some looked too frozen to move. With the gap growing this gave Lucifer a better view and when he saw what they had done he made haste to storm in. Shoving them aside to get to Charlie he scooped up her small body and pulled it to his.
“CHARLIE!” He cried out moving her hair that was stained a mix of gold and red as was the rest of her body. Her dress was torn, her body-baring claw marks, many deep lacerations, and stab wounds. Her eyes lazily looked up at her father and her tiny bloodied fingers were weakly wrapped around his fingers.
“D-daddy, i-it hurts-” “I know Charlie, I know princess, Daddy’s here, I’m gonna make it better I promise!” His voice cracked as he vowed, he knew he couldn’t heal all of her injuries as she was so small, and that process could be agonizing for her. He held her to his chest and used as much magic as he could to heal whatever he could without causing further damage. It just needed to be enough for him to get her somewhere safe! His eyes changed a deep red as he growled and glared at anyone who dared to get close to them. He took off his shirt and swaddled her in it before taking off, he knew he would have to go back to the castle, there was a medic nearby there that he trusted to help in this situation. One hand holding his daughter he made that phone call to his old friend to meet him at the castle as soon as possible. As he ventured he could hear soft noises from Charlie, some were from pain, others from fear. He could feel his heart slowly cracking with each passing minute. Even though the trip was only minutes it felt like hours.
Bursting through the doors of the castle he hardly said a word as he went into his workshop. He had first aid supplies he could use for the time being till his friend arrived. The sound of the doors opening alerted Lilith who called out for him. But he didn’t answer he was too focused on taking care of Charlie to reply. Unwrapping his blood-soaked shirt he was greeted by a wailing child crying for her father to make the pain go away. There were still many visible injuries that needed to be mended and they looked painful. Hearing her child cry Lilith didn’t wait for an answer she stormed into the workshop and almost shrieked at the sight.
“WHAT HAPPENED?!” Lucifer jolted at the shrill voice behind him, dammit he wasn’t ready for this conversation yet.
“Lucifer what happened to Charlie!?” Lilith pleaded as she reached out for her daughter, Lucifer felt the lump in his throat almost choke him.
“I-I don’t know Lilith. I-I was getting us ice cream a-and she let go of my hand, I heard a scream and i-I found her being hurt by some sinners.” He stammered out as his mouth dried out from anxiety, eyes darting frantically he needed everything to slow down, he needed his friend to get here faster! He needed Charlie to be okay! When his friend finally showed up he let him in and sank to the ground to his knees, hands clasped together with his head bowed. Silently praying for their daughter to be alright.
By nightfall, Charlie had been fixed up and was resting in her room. Neither Lucifer nor Lilith had said a word to each other, neither one of them slept. Both take turns to check in on Charlie, neither of them wanting to be away from her for long scared she would die without one of them. Lucifer had a sick feeling in the bottom of his stomach the entire time. Guilt began to drown him as his memories replayed.
Her screams, the way she reached for him, the terrified look in her eyes, just like when he had been forced from heaven and had found Lilith in a similar shape. He couldn’t help but blame himself, and slump back into his depression that started to swallow him whole like the monsters of the dark. Pulling him back into his old habits again and hiding away as if he were the monster.
Days went by where he’d fall asleep in the corner of Charlie’s room watching over her from a distance or he’d lock himself back in his workshop. He couldn’t bring himself to eat or do work when his mind was being consumed by memories and voices telling him it was all his fault.
“Lucifer.” Lilith’s voice spoke up interrupting his running mind, Lucifer looked up from his desk to see his wife with multiple bags packed. His brows furrowed in confusion, was she going somewhere?
“What’s with the bags, dear?” “I’m going to be leaving, and I’m taking Charlie with me.” That cut through him like a knight, his eyes blown wide in shock and he stood up from his bench and nervously inquired why.
“I need time to take care of Charlie, and she deserves someone who can give her consistent love, you can’t do that so I’m taking matters into my own hands.” “I-I can take care of Charlie just fine, I was doing well, wh-what do you mean?” Lucifer reached for his wife’s hand begging for answers.
“Please Lili, anything I’ll do anything just please don’t leave, and please don’t take our daughter, please! Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it!” He looked up at her with tears welling up, Lilith took a step back and shook her head.
“No, I can’t, I’m doing this for all of our sakes, it's obvious we both need space and I know I’m best equipped out of the two of us to take care of Charlie.” Lucifer took his steps closer the air around him growing cold, her words slicing and cutting into him with her bluntness.
“No no no no please Lili please don’t go! Please I don’t need space I need you! I need you and Charlie, please!” Lilith looked down at him with an almost emotionless glare as she grabbed her bags. Lucifer followed his wife as she walked away, out of the workshop and out of the castle. He continued to plead to not be left alone, he watched as she packed away their daughter who gave a small yet confused wave at him.
“I love you, Daddy! See you soon” “I love you too Charlie…” He spent night after night crying and praying for this to all be some sick joke or awful nightmare that he would wake up from. He stayed curled up in their empty bedroom, hardly moving to do much besides use the bathroom. He couldn’t bear to leave his room, he couldn’t bear to look into his daughter’s room and see it bare and missing his child. He couldn’t take waking up every morning and not seeing the woman he fell for beside him. He couldn’t go on not hearing joyous laughter and cheering. He couldn’t do it anymore.

Dating Toby?? Like is he clingy, jealous or protective of his partner??
(I don't know....this is my first time doing these things.....)
Toby brain rot :3 this is how I see Toby mixed with some canon information! (I’m gonna try to keep it realistic)
Tumblr media
What would it be like dating Toby?
Toby’s life is filled with tragedy
Abuse, death, murder, mental illnesses, being a slave to Slenderman
It’s all bad
So when he finds you, someone that accepts him and loves him despite all that, he’s not letting you go
He’ll do anything for you
I mean to the point it’s unhealthy
Because hes obsessed with you
Like really obsessed with you
He’s super touchy, not only because he likes to feel close to you, but it keeps him grounded
That’s important to him because his disorders/ mental illnesses cause him to hallucinate or space out
He’s not gloomy he’s actually upbeat but when he remembers something from his past or the current state of his life he goes through episodes of depression and mood swings
They can get really intense and as you’re with him you’ll learn how to support him through it
Just laying with him, making sure he has water and reminding him you’re here for him will help lots and lots of physical affection
If his mood swings get violent he’ll isolate himself from you but it’s heartbreaking to hear his suffering
His swings can go from extreme anger to intense sadness to reckless happiness
Since he hasn’t had much kindness or interaction in his life he doesn’t have the best social skills
He’ll say whatever is on his mind with no filter and that includes you too
So he’ll say mean things unintentionally a lot because he doesn’t understand how what he says can be hurtful
And he might try to call you sensitive for it too
“Ugh you’re overreacting I didn’t even say anything that hurtful. It’s just what’s on my mind”
He literally doesn’t understand how it can make you feel because he’s a bit detached with emotions
It’s gonna take a while for him to understand but he loves you so he’ll try to understand for your sake and will work on apologizing
He can also just be rude or a jerk sometimes in general
Toby likes just spending time with you to the point where you’re connected at the hip
He won’t say he loves you with words but he says it with his actions
He brings you gifts, holds your hand, goes on walks with you, holds you and try’s to be better for you (even though it’s really hard because he’s set in his ways)
He talks a lot so sometimes you’ll just listen and smile
Since he can’t feel pain, when he gets back from missions you’ll have to help him check for injuries to make sure he’s okay
He doesn’t say it but he appreciates it
Sometimes he’ll just stare at you because he loves you so much, taking in your every detail
He notices everything about you, from your body language, how you tan in the summer and lighten in the winter, he even knows how many times you breathe in a minute
Toby eats a lot of instant ramen so be prepared to eat a lot of that at first but you start to cook for him because he needs to eat better
Toby never expected to have a girlfriend since he’s a lot to handle but he liked the way you handle him
He’s full of himself literally thinks he’s gods gift to earth so sometimes he puts himself before your relationship but he’s trying to change that
He’s really funny especially if you like dark humor
He’s a jealous man. You’re his no one else’s
If someone even looks at you romantically he’ll go crazy on them
Remember, Toby is still a murderer and enjoys murdering
Chasing them down and threatening them and if it escalated kill them with a smile
He does it all for you. Everything is for you.
“You know I love you, right?”
He looks at you covered in blood
Toby likes it when you wear his sweaters
He wants a family one day and hopes you can give that to him
He’s possessive over you but does it out of intense love and obsession
He wants to keep you safe by any means necessary because he’s so used to losing the people he loves and he really doesn’t wanna lose you
Toby drives a pickup truck and likes to drive you around in it
He likes to sit in the back of it with you and look at the stars in an open field
Since Toby’s older his tics have calmed down but they’re still there and he still has the occasional tic attack
You’ll have to help him through those because sometimes he can’t even talk when he’s having one
Stuff he can squeeze, ice pack on his forehead and making sure he doesn’t hurt himself
He’s happy you don’t see him as a burden like everyone else did
He’s never letting you go
He didn’t know he could feel love this intense
