Andromeda is widely known as the kindest of the Blacks at school, but everyone always forgets that this is in comparison to her relatives; she’s the most deranged person around in every other context. Snape is the only person to never forget this, aside from her family, because Andromeda just despises him and will attack him at the drop of a hat.

I would like to add that Ted never forgot either, he just finds it adorable.

I’m team Barty Crouch Jr was a Ravenclaw (with Pandora). It makes it easier for everyone to be surprised he’s a death eater.

Okay I just discovered the fact that Barty Crouch Jr. is canonically a Ravenclaw. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY WE MADE HIM A SLYTHERIN????? WHEN HE'S A RAVENCLAW??? As a Ravenclaw, it makes so much more sense why the Skittles would be friends now. Like Panda and Barty would be friends, but the Rosier twins, but Regulus, BOOM. (idk if that last sentence made sense lmao)

Edit: nvm wikipedia was wrong and it is in fact not canon. We do not know Barty's canon house. I still stand by what I said though: Ravenclaw Barty supremacy!!!!

Thinking about how much better cassian and eris’s conversation at the end of acosf would’ve been if it was nesta instead of cassian’s dumb ass.Cassian literally had to have it spelled out for him that eris is wearing a mask and might actually be a good male and even then he still missed the mark completely and called him a coward.I think nesta would’ve been a lot more understanding especially when she realized her and eris might not be so different after all.It could have been a defining moment to show nesta’s growth and the whole scene just would’ve been a lot more captivating if it was nesta involved 🤷.

This goes hand in hand with how I’ll literally never get over SJM fumbling so hard when it came to nesta and eris and I’m not just talking in the romantic sense.I’m talking nesta playing courtier with eris and being the only who can deal with him because he only seems to like her.Nesta seeing past eris’s cunning mask and cruelty and him seeing past her tough exterior and harsh words.Them slowly developing a silent sort of understanding of each other and eventually becoming allies.Maybe sharing a kiss here and there because they’re both hot and single and they want to.Their relationship genuinely had so much potential and their chemistry was off the charts.I’ll forever be in mourning.

When I say the Black brothers are dramatic little cunts, what I really mean is that Regulus is dramatic and Sirius is theatric. Regulus is out here writing sad boy poetry and regularly lays prone in the middle of the floor when he’s had a shite day, while Sirius is tossing out Shakespearean-level insults while dancing on the bar.

How it should've been

Ok I get it that she's brave and all but mostly she's a witty she's clever and she's intellectual. So ravenclaw! Hermione and also Harry should have been Slytherin the only reason he was gryffindor was because he said that he didn't want to be Slytherin because Ron told him it was the house of evil.

And don't get me started on hufflepuff Ron I don't think it makes sense yes Ron was loyal but was he hard-working? No. He was one of the least hard-working students and his year group so I just think it makes much more sense for him to be gryffindor.

I’d want this rule first started in Ootp. I want Harry and Ron to be 100000% confident they will end up in Gryffindor again. Then I want Hermoine Granger to choose Ravenclaw this time around and send the golden trio into chaos.

Then I want it to be Harry’s turn. Everyone would be so nervous and curious. (Angelina, Fred, and George would be giving him warning stares). Harry would obviously be shouting in his head at the sorting hat wondering what it said to convince Hermoine to go to Ravenclaw. Harry would be sitting on that chair for 37 minutes. Then the sorting hat would put him in Slytherin.

Ron would be so confused. He’d feel so blind sided. I don’t think Ron would go to Hufflepuff. But I do think he’d consider going to Slytherin for Harry’s sake. But the sorting hat would refuse immediately because it wants the three of them separated. I think Ron would go back to Gryffindor but it will not be a happy sorting. He’d be miserable there for a little while.

And Hermoine would do this because she believes now more than ever that Hogwarts needs to be united, and feels they already have Gryffindor’s support and can reach Ravenclaw better if she’s there personally. And to the sorting hat’s song about House unity just confirmed everything.

I think Ron will defend Harry to Seamus and the rest of the Gryffindors when they question his story. But I think he’ll be angry at both Hermione and Harry. I think when Gryffindor has classes with Ravenclaw and Slytherin, he’d avoid them for a while. On the other hand, I think Harry and Hermione would choose to sit together at every chance. I also think the Slytherin and Ravenclaw tables in the Great Hall are next to one another and they will sit back to back so they can turn and talk to each other.

I think hogwarts sorting should happen twice in a witch or wizard’s life. Once in first year. And once in fifth year.
