Look I loved how Elle finally got away from both Flynn brothers and realised how toxic their relationships had gotten. We stan self growth in this house. Though, a small part of me kinda wishes there was an alternative story where the first movie was best friends to lovers. Maybe this is just my cliche ass talking. But I think it would've been hella cute if Elle and Lee had realised they loved each other romantically and gotten together at the end of the first movie and just left it at that. But whatever.
