It literally has everything - broken hearts, adorable dates, a sensual satisfying climax. It goes from angsty, to fluffy, to saucy, and it is near close to perfect.

6. Overtime by @storiesofsvu 😔🥰 Rafael Barba x Reader Honestly, read any of her stuff, you're guaranteed to enjoy it. I like this one in particular because it is such a well composed story. And she nailed Raf being a lovable dick 😂

This is a great story that ties up really nicely.

44. Coming Home by @seekret-fanfic 🥰 Sonny Carisi x Reader Warning! Your heart may not be prepared for this amount of fluff!! I fucking LOVE this story - it pulls at the heartstrings in such a delightful way. Warms my cold dead heart 🖤

45. On Takeout and Yoga by @inflagranteinnuendo 🥵 Sonny Carisi x Reader Not your conventional smut piece. This is so well written. I love the flow of the whole story. I love the build up to ending. I love just how goddamn sweet and endlessly understanding Sonny is!!

If you compare old and current photos of the cast please do so in a positive way. I don’t wanna hear about how you were more attracted to them in season 1 I really don’t. People are allowed to age; it’s a wonderful thing to do. It means you’ve been able to experience this world for long enough to reach a point where your eyes are wrinkling and your hair is greying.

The cast are not less than now because they don’t look how they did back then and I honestly think they all look just as stunning now as they did. Look at how amazingly beautiful getting older really is.

aaron just collapsing in bed with you after a rough case :(

he gets home late, roughly the early hours of the morning. the heavy, sinking feeling of the mattress is what wakes you, the sound of him kicking off his shoes and landing onto the carpet. and although you're still half asleep, your drowsy mind still processes it's him, that he's finally home, and you can easily sense it was a bad one.

some days, you hold him. you turn your body to face him, drawing him into your embrace, your fingers running through the short hair on the back of his neck. the others, he's wrapping his arms around you, pulling you as close as possible to him, either burying his face into your neck, or if behind you - right between your shoulder blades. his hand will also find yours and interlock your fingers, his forearm draped over your waist.

for now, there's no talking, he's still in his suit - you'll coax him into his pajamas shortly, sliding the suit jacket off his shoulders yourself, unloosening his tie for him. aaron's gripping onto you as if his life depends on it, and in a way, it does.

but after a while, you ask if he's alright, if he needs to talk about anything, wipe away his tears gently with your thumb if it was that bad. he'll either nod quietly, or mumble a response.

with your presence, and your grounding breaths, aaron finally falls into a fitful, yet calm sleep. he hasn't slept properly since the beginning of that awful case, to be fair. he's just so relieved to be home, so relieved that nightmare of a few days is somewhat over, so relieved to have you, his light at the end of the tunnel, there without fail always. <3

Connor doesn’t expect to see you on the bench outside the hospital. At first he isn’t even sure that it is you because you look completely different. These days your hair is pastel pink, falling to the line of your jaw in loose waves instead of your usual conservative style. Your eyes are highlighted with  black liquid liner, accentuating their shape. Your lips are painted coral, framing your mouth into a pretty pout. Your clothing screams art student, plaid maxi skirt with a black crop top and combat boots. There’s a five different silver studs in your left ear and a couple in your right. He only remembers two.

It's been almost six months since you left to go undercover and it feels like he’s staring at a completely different person. You’re feeling shy, he can tell. It’s in the way you hang back just a little, the unsurity in your features. Six months is a long time to be away, to not be involved in partner’s life.

It can be hard coming back, Antonio had warned him a couple of weeks ago. Trying to step back into your life after being someone else for a while, it can take a while to acclimate. Be kind to her, treat her the way you did before, remind her that nothing’s changed.

“When you commit to a role…” He says as he approaches you. “…you really commit.”

You shrug in response to his words, tucking your hands into the pockets of your jacket. There’s a tension in your shoulders. It’s as if you’re steeling yourself for a blow. He knows what you expect him to say, the assignment was too long, he’s taken another lover, someone who can be there for him when he needs it.  

“Baby…” He murmurs as he cradles your face between his hands. “Do you think I’m not happy to see you?”

Your eyes meet his and he sees such sadness in them. He can’t imagine how isolating it must have been undercover, how alone you must have felt. You build up those walls to protect yourself, keep yourself safe and he knows how hard it is to break them back down again.

“My feelings haven’t changed.” He reassures you and he sees a crack in the armour, a slight glimmer of hope. “I’m still as in love with you as the day you left.”
