So a friend of me made this cool photo on their last trip and i just had to draw it.

The coloring took me about 6h, i didn't pay attention at the time when i did the sketch and lineart but yeah.

I've been pretty much dead for the start of the year but with reason. I started a few bigger projectswhich i can't really talk about yet.

So one is done, two are still running but i have more time again which i used to work on my mask.

I finally got time to work on a project again that i had to pause for a while and i've got a big step done!

Soo i dont only draw, i also do other crafting stuff like making masks. This time i'm making one completely from scratch.

Here is the design i came up with:

It's pretty much a typical Oni mask, but in soft colors because.. i'm in a "pink mood" as i call it.

Here are my next few steps. I used crafting foam (for most) and metal wire and thread (for the teeth)

And after a lot of sewing and messed up teeth i finally have THIS

Next step is molding the details.

I give another update when thats done!

Fun Fact: i also draw other stuff than Dragon Quest.

For example this recently finished portrait of a family friends dog as a christmas present. It took me about 20h to make.

Well, I really like how it turned out. Especially in contrast to the one i did a year ago, which i'm not going to keep from you:
