Adhd culture is interrupting people because you either blurt thing out or don’t realize they’re not finished, and feel awful for it. You’re “trying to stop” but it simply doesn’t get fixed 😭

adhd (autism?) culture is having to viciously fight off your hyperfixation (special interest?) in order to get anything done instead of going down the rabbit hole

Tumblr media
Gaza's municipality is trying to raise money to fix and restore Gaza's water system. Please support them by boosting and/or donating

adhd culture is submitting posts, asking questions, or just telling us about your day in this blog’s askbox! no such thing as a dumb question here.

adhd culture is not really realizing how much of your dysfunction was executive rather than due to focus or anything until you start taking meds.
like what do you mean people clean their room and then work on their term paper after. i thought you could only do one.

not sure how relatable this one is but here we go. adhd culture is getting very invested in certain fandoms, but even when they start taking over all of your thought processes you rarely ever get yourself to consume fanfiction about it because commitment is scary and what if you don’t finish it? finishing the original media itself is hard enough.

adhd culture is feeling like doing something, wanting to do that thing, giving all of your effort to do that thing, but being physically unable to move because your brain won't let you

Note
adhd is hyperfixating on a show/book/etc. without ever visiting the source material.
(as in, only interacting with fanwork and never actually watching the show/reading the book)

Adhd culture is having listened to a song on repeat so long that you get sick of it but the thought of listening to anything else is horrible.
