NeoShadouge Week: Day 2 Intimacy

Lancelot and Guinevere cannot be with the one they love, so on late nights when they can't sleep from how terribly they miss the other... they make do with the small tokens of affection they have received.

Guin has a brooch Lancelot gave her one day when her cloak unfastened. He took it off of his own cloak, his own insignia on the raised metal, as he pinned it back in place. ("Keep it, my queen. It is my greatest honor to be of service to you in any way I can, even when I am not physically there.") Lance has her handkerchief that Guin gave him during a tournament. She took it our of her pocket, warm with the heat of her body, and pressed it to the wound on his shoulder. ("You are far too reckless, my champion. If not for the sake of my nerves, then do so for the sake of my heart- please be more careful.")

I think they should meet. I think Dread should have a massive crush on Shadow because he looks and feels like a shard because of his chaos energy. I think Dread should flirt with Shadow very very aggressively and Shadow, who has never been flirted before in his life, has no idea what he is supposed to do.

SatBK Week - Day 4: Dragon

Between dragon and hunter, the difference is quite small- in protecting their treasures, both sides give their all.

Part of the Du Lac AU!

Shortly after Lamorak and Percival become inseparable playmates with Galahad, Lancelot is called away to deal with a little dragon problem. Galahad is usually pretty obedient and well-behaved, so Lancelot is VERY UNPLEASANTLY SURPRISED when he hears screaming and crying in the dragon's lair and arrives to find his stupid, reckless children about to be ROASTED AND EATEN. He immediately jumps into action to protect them, and sustains more serious injuries than he would have if he wasn't doing double duty as a shield.

Lancelot is victorious in the end, the kids are traumatized and scared but not seriously hurt, and this marks a turning point in their relationship: Lancelot decides that since he's bled for them and has a very, large prominent scar in their defense, the Pellinore twins are his kids now, too. So he's going to get them all trained up and able to defend themselves and each other so this kind of things can never, ever happen again.
