Not to hit the hornets' nest with a baseball bat I think a certain people are hell bent on believing that Hamas didn't rape Israeli women on October 7 because they subconsciously think that the level of brutality in Gaza would be more justified if they had.

I know Hamas raped Israeli women on 10/7 and I still believe the level of collateral damage against Palestinian civilians is unacceptable and we should have a two-sided ceasefire with all hostages returned. But some people just lack the empathy to understand the nuance.
